Lilies of the Valley
Empowered Today, Equal Tomorrow (ETET) is a collective effort by the Sunway Student Volunteers to celebrate women empowerment and spread awareness about issues surrounding gender equality. As the road towards a world of equality is not an impossible dream, small movements do matter and plays a role in inspiring the public or community to be involved. One of our movements for ETET is a compilation of voices from the public through creative works. Titled Lilies of The Valley, our e-zine contains collections of artworks, poems, short stories and essays pertaining to the theme of women empowerment. This collection of works aims to be a platform for people to express their voice and ideas through creative means regarding the theme of women empowerment or gender equality.
From the 10th April 2021 to 4th June 2021, we have been blessed with the submission of creative works from contributors. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all contributors in making this project a success. We hope that through this collection of creative works you may be inspired or be more aware of the discourse surrounding gender equality.
