Activity - 5
In this exercise, we will be lying down on the face to the
ground. Raise our both legs and push to wards our hip turn
by turn by taking the help from our friends.

Activity - 6
Hanging and climbing

While performing this exercise, we need a horizontal bar. We
will catch the bar by jumping and can pull up. Similarly, we
can roll in the bar slowly. But we should be very careful while

Lesson Drill

23

Drill is performed in a group. It is a kind of discipline
training. It is repeated physical activity done under the
command of a commander, leader or teacher. Drill is performed
in file. While performing drill, both file and line should be

twist by raising heel with out moving our body and hands
unnecessarily. After turning to the right side, raise our left leg
around six inches up from the ground and bang our left leg at
the ground by joining with right leg in ‘V’ shape’.

Activity - 2
Left turn
When this command is given to the group, all the students
will twist their left heel by raising left toe. At the same time,
right leg also will twist by raising right heel with out moving
our body and hands unnecessarily. After turning to the left
side, raise our right leg around six inches up from the ground
and bang our right leg at the ground by joining with left leg
in ‘V’ shape.

Activity - 3
About turn
In this command, all the students will turn from the right side
by making 180° angle. While turning, body and legs position
will be like a ‘Right turn’ but we have to balance our body

perform this command by looking friend’s head by making
our body straight. When the commander will give this
command we will start to march from our left leg by raising
our both legs at least six inches up from the ground until we
get the command of halt.

Activity - 5
Quick march
When we are marching,
this command is given
by the commander in our
left leg and we have to go
forward by marching and
fully swinging our hands
up to our friend’s shoulder

command in our left leg and will stop with our right leg by.
Saying ‘check’ in right leg counting 1 in left leg, 2 in right leg
and stop with same leg. Here we will practice this command
in straight file.

Activity - 7
Eyes Right and Eyes front
Specially, this command is given to respect chief guest while
performing ‘quick march’. This command is done in different
ways by turning head to the right side and giving salute by
turning head to the right. When the commander gives this

left leg of the students. Same like before will say ‘check’ in
while placing right leg on the ground and while placing left
leg on the ground same time will turn our head front straight.
Here, we will practice this command more.

We like to play games. It will be enjoyable while playing
such games with our friends and will have exercise in the body.
But we should not play more than two hours in a day. We will

add all the count from every players. Both group will play turn
by turn and which group will reach in target first, they will be
the winner. In such way dandi biyo is played.

Activity - 2
Ram and Ravan
This game is very interesting game. It is played between two
groups. One group name will be Ram and another group
name will be Ravan. Before starting game, we have to sketch

and if they touch with in their line, he/she should join to
Ram’s group. The teacher can call any group. In such way
Ram and Ravan is played.

another will tell there was a big jungle. In such way, the
students will complete the story by adding one sentence each.
After that we can act this story by playing drama.

Activity - 2
Acting Based game
Such acting based game will be way interesting and enjoyable.
In this game, the students should act in conversation between
tiger and rabbit.
Tiger - Why did you come late?
Rabbit - I was coming but another tiger stopped me on the
