Backrooms By Vedant Sharma PYP 4 A Tim always wondered what BR stands for. BR is Back Rooms which is the fake dimensions, and you must pass the level to return to reality. One day he was researching how to go to BR, and he figured out that if you go to the abandoned house and touch the biggest crack, you will be sent to BR. He carried water and food with him and went on his journey. Initial time went on searching the abandoned house. When he finally found the house, he went inside excitedly. And touched the biggest crack, and BOOM, he was inside BR. Before going into the BR, he was given information about the levels. Level 1- Illusion Level 2- Solving the maze Level 3- Giant pool Level 4- Grass field. Level 1 – Breaking the illusion He saw patterns on the wall, weird shapes, and a bright light. He had an illusion that all the walls were approaching him, which scared him very much, and he got panic and started looking for an escape. After a few minutes of search, he realised that the walls were not moving at all, and this was an illusion created by patterns and weird wall shapes. And he was surprised, too, since he had been moved to the next level. Level 2 – Solving Maze Now he saw a few thin pipes, and he thought about how to cross the maze. So, he decided to go inside the pipe on his risk, and he was surprised to see that as soon as he entered pipe was growing big, and finally, after crawling for a few seconds, he was out of the maze. Level 3 – Giant pool He saw a giant pool which was empty. To clear this level, he has to fill it with water; once the water reaches the top, a door to exit will open. As well as there was an octopus in the pool. He started filling the water using the pipe lying on the floor. Meanwhile, the pool was filling with water. He realised that he was hungry, he opened his bag in which he was carrying a few resources like water and a food flashlight; he had some snacks and rested for some time. Once the water filled, the octopus went deep inside the pool, and Tim swam across to the exit door. Level 4- Grass Field In the last level, he has to find a pink house to escape. The grass field was filled with lots and lots of houses. He has to figure out which house is in pink colors. He was smart, so he found one ladder and climbed on the top of the ladder, which made him see the clear view of the houses and made him easy for him to identify the pink house. He walked towards it and entered the house. The house was dark; he got scared and closed his eyes. When he opened his eyes, he saw his parents standing before him. And he realised that from the first moment, he had been dreaming about all this.

JIMMY’S EXCITING ADVENTURES By Arjun Rawat PYP 4 B Chapter 1 Why am I in a fantasy world? Once upon a time there lived a boy. His name was Jimmy. He goes to a school called Oakridge. One day when Jimmy came back from school, he saw a drawing of a blue hole. It looked so realistic it looked like a portal and in red it was written “come walk on me”. Jimmy felt something suspicious, but he was very curious so, he did it anyway although when he stepped on it he was sent to a fantasy world. Jimmy was thinking that this was all a prank from his friends but when he saw a griffin, he knew it wasn’t. He wanted to know why he was in a fantasy world, so he asked a mythical animal, but the mythical animal did not understand or seemed to know English and the mythical animal looked hungry. Jimmy told the mythical animal that he will leave but the mythical animal did not let him do that, so he chased Jimmy. Both kept on running and running and running. But Jimmy had more speed than the mythical animal and got away then something pulled him down Jimmy shrieked very loudly. Chapter 2 The Scorching Phoenix Jimmy was still not able to find out why he was in the fantasy world he began searching for answers, but he did not find anyone until he heard large flapping wings. When he looked up to see if he could find any creature, he saw a huge phoenix. It was so big that it made a shadow which covered most of the land. He thought that the phoenix was another creature who wanted to kill him. When he turned around and started to run, the phoenix could speak English. He was shocked at how a creature could speak English when he stopped running. Jimmy asked the phoenix why he was in a fantasy world? The phoenix asked if the boy wanted a ride, and he said yes because the fantasy world looked so big that he couldn't walk around the whole place to find answers for why he was in a fantasy world, so he said yes. The phoenix went so fast that he was almost about to fall but he didn't. The phoenix told him he could ask king Gabriel why he was here, so the phoenix dropped him at king Gabriel’s palace. Jimmy thanked the phoenix and started walking to the king’s palace. Chapter 3 King Gabriel’s palace When he tried to enter the palace the guards said, “Who is this and who brought him here?”. Jimmy said the phoenix. The guards then let Jimmy enter the palace when he entered the palace it was so big, he tried to find out how he could find the king’s room, so he tried searching every room to check if the king was there. There were 6 huge bedrooms. The first bedroom had a lot of food. He ate some and kept on checking the other rooms. In the 2nd room saw a lot of clothes which looked nice, but he skipped to the next room. In the 3rd room he saw a massive table with a lot of books. He went to the 4th room next and saw a girl studying. He thought that the girl was the king’s daughter. In the 5th bedroom there was a woman sitting and thinking about something that must have been the king’s wife and in the last bedroom he found king Gabriel. he went to ask king Gabriel why he was in a fantasy world and king Gabriel didn’t know either. Sad Jimmy asked king
Gabriel who could he ask next king Gabriel said that he could ask the gods in the sky they know everything, but Jimmy was wondering how he could get there right then the phoenix showed up and it told him to hop on so he did. Chapter 4 The Gods above the clouds When Jimmy was escorted by the phoenix, he was thinking how the gods would look like. Suddenly the phoenix went so fast that Jimmy almost fell off the phoenix’s back but soon enough they were above the clouds and they could see a massive place when they got in there were so many gods that they couldn’t find who to ask until the phoenix remembered every 1 hour a day King Vladimir, the ruler of the universe would answer the questions of gods and people but not a single person has made it to the god’s place except for Jimmy so they found the place where King Vladimir would answer the questions but there was a huge line so they had to wait. Jimmy asked King Vladimir why he was in the fantasy world and King Vladimir said that he summoned Jimmy because the gods needed help to destroy Zach, the Universe Decimator was planning to destroy the universe which includes Earth and the fantasy world. But Jimmy was thinking how could he help the gods? King Vladimir said that Jimmy was the chosen one. All the Gods would give their energy to him, Jimmy only had 3 days to prepare for the big battle and so he did. Chapter 5 The Ultimate Battle 3 Days later all the Fantasy creatures got ready to fight destroyer Zach and so did Jimmy. When destroyer Zach appeared, it was very silent for a few seconds until everyone was fighting. Zach and his army easily defeated the creatures until Jimmy showed up and fought him. Their battle shook the universe but, in the end, Jimmy won and Banished Destroyer Zach to the Mirror realm for 1 million years. Everyone was cheering for Jimmy and after that he returned the powers to the Gods. He said his goodbyes to everyone and especially to his friend, the phoenix. The Gods then made him a portal back to the normal world. When he stepped through it he found himself sitting in his car, wondering if it was all a dream! The End
THE TALE OF KING JEREMY By Arjun Pedasingu PYP 4B Scene - 1 King’s secret One busy morning king Jeremy, a brave, curious and a very kind man! He was heading to the jungle with his guards, minster johnny, he can never keep secret and he is funny and, servant William fears everything. They went to the jungle to hunt a deer. They searched and searched but they could not find them, and it attacked the king fought with it and escaped in one door. to hunt so they went deep into the jungle to hunt.” King, we better go back before any wild animal attacks us.” said a guard. `let’s go a little forward and let’s go back to the kingdom.” They went and went but they had no luck, so while they were returning a lion pounced on them and attacked. The king fought with it and escaped but the king and the guards got separated. The king went searching for the guards, William and johnny. He could not find them anywhere then he got lost he was roaming here and there, then he found a cave then he got very curious. When he went inside it was very dark so, Jeremy came out of the cave and took a branch and with two rocks he made the branch get on fire and then he went inside with fire. There were obstacles everywhere, somehow the king faced them all and he went deep inside and found a MASTER EMERALD. He kept it safe with him and when he came out, the bushes rustled then the guards came with William and Johnny. Jeremy showed them the emerald and told them to hide it and keep it a secret. Scene - 2 The Lion in The Kingdom One pleasant evening, a mortal devil gets to know that the king has the master emerald by seeing that the emerald was missing, and his spy saw Jeremy taking the emerald so the devil turns into a lion and starts his journey to the king. Then that night when the king and everyone goes to sleep, the lion enters the kingdom, by killing the guards. Then he does not see that there were pots “DASH! “He hits the pots. Suddenly the king woke up and when he woke up William came and said “there is a lion in the kingdom! The king stood up in a flash. He ran downstairs with his sword, and then he saw in front of the crown that there was nothing when he went down, the lion jumped on him, as it attacked the king swung his sword. A big scar was made below his eye, and he fell on the ground. He transformed back into a monster; the king was astonished. When the monster woke up, he was tied up and the king was sitting in front of him. The king started asking him questions “who are you and why are you trying to attack me.’’ Before he asked one more question the monster asked why you took the emerald from the cave. Then the king said “I don’t want people like you to use the power of the emerald” and he went into shock and vanished into the air. The End
MAGICAL CAMPING TRIP By Ahana Singla PYP 4 B Introduction Hello, I am princess Andiana. Let me Introduce you to my friends. Canny Gonge Gong Scarzona Posseualaliaete Andiana and her friends camping trip. In the kingdom of Amber, everyone has magic powers except the princess Andiana. Although, princess didn’t mind being without magic powers but at time she felt a little odd. One day she and her friends planned to go on a camping trip in forest. Everyone was very excited for the trip, but they were not aware what is waiting for them. Little did they know that they are about to visit an enchanted forest. They packed for the camp and setoff. It was a long drive for 4 hours, finally they reached the forest. Suddenly the princess was being controlled by someone unknown and unspotted. The controller was making princess walk towards a bush. The four friends tried to use all their powers one by one, but it did not work. They tried several times, but nothing worked. Finally, they combined their powers and tried to save the princess together. “It worked!!” exclaimed Canny. Scarzona said “That was wired, alteast finally we saved princess.” They gathered all their courage and continued through the forest. They looked around carefully in all directions to find a good camping spot. They found a mesmerizing waterfall in the forest. Andiana said “Wow, Lets set our camp over here”. Everyone agreed and they settled down. Posseualaliaete started cooking food on a barbeque. Everyone relished the food. Gonge Gong said “delicious, I wish we can come for camp every day and have the barbecue cooked by you, Posseualaliaete”. Everyone chuckled. They were all tired after hiking in the forest and a fulfilling meal made them even more sleepy to, they decided to rest for a while in the tents. Everyone fell asleep instantly. When the princess woke up, she could not find her friends anywhere. She looked for then around but could not find them. She was terrified alone and sad without her friends. Suddenly, she heard a voice calling her. She turned back and a cave appeared, in the middle of waterfall. There was also a small bridge to the cave. The voice was coming from the cave. Princess started walking towards the cave. Nearer, she went to the cave the voice grew more prominent. When she entered the cave, she found nothing but an amulet hanging on a rock. But she was surprised when the rock greeted her. It said “welcome to enchanted forest. I am the guardian of this forest. You always thought you didn't have magical powers. Believe it or not but you have the greatest power in the whole Kingdom. Take this amulet. Using this you can you transform into anything you want. Any object and creature, the mystical creatures like Unicorn. It can grant all your wishes. The princess thanked the rock and took her amulet. She again started looking for her friends. She asked amulet can you help me find my friends. Amulet said yes suddenly a trail appeared. She started following the trail. It led her to a old cottage, surprisingly the trail ended there. She went inside the cottage and found her friends trapped in a cage. She asked the amulet to find key to the cage. Suddenly the cage opened, and all her friends were free. Everyone was very happy to see to see the Princess. they were surprised and asked Princess about the magic. Princess explained them everything. All the friends were very happy for the
Princess. The Princess said, “let's quickly get out of here before any other trouble find us”. She quickly teleported all of them to the camping spot. They packed all their stuff and headed back to the Kingdom. It was the greatest day for Princess in her life as she found her magic powers on the day. The End
THE GHOST OF OAKRIDGE By Ishani Basu PYP 4 B Chapter 1 It was a pleasant Friday morning. The sun was shining brightly, a soft breeze was there to cool down the heat. During the block period of UOI [unit of inquiry] 4A ,4C and 4D gathered in 4B for information for logging in to Global campus, century tech, Raz plus etc. Suddenly the screen went black, all the phones, laptops, tabs for trying to login suddenly began glitching, the power went out, the bright sunshine and the soothing breeze suddenly turned into massive rain and heavy wind. Suddenly a figure shone through the darkness. The figure mumbled something like this ‘I am the ghost of Oakridge, I do not let anything, nor anyone do something bright and happy, and if they do, I shall devour them this very second, and everyone here will follow sadness, anger, darkness and gloominess in this bright school. I have never allowed a single person to let me happy unlike you all. The figure disappeared and the children started panicking. The teachers firmly but politely said that the auditorium was the safest place in the school. Turns out that it had not only affected 4th graders, but all the grades and sections crowded in the auditorium. The principal said it had spread and affected the entire school, not only 4th grade. Soon the auditorium was filled with either conversations about the ghost or some simple things in daily life. The auditorium was very noisy. Once again, the weather became worse and heavier. The lights and the gadgets once again began glitching and the power went out. The figure appeared again, and said ‘HA , your scaredy pokes. You people who love brightness and happiness, it is all very stupid why must we always do all of this’. The bell rang for home time, the principal was not sure it was safe. So, the vice principal went out, ran back inside and secured the door nice and tight to make sure the ghost did not barge in. She said it is not safe for us to go out and go to the buses or their car, bike or auto. So, the children stayed back at school until the ghost disappeared. But then suddenly one of the students realized that one of the teachers was not there, and suddenly she realized that was the drama teacher ‘But how can he be gone now? The teacher could not have disappeared, we all saw him this morning, going to the theatre while going to our respective classes.’ There was a lot of pondering going on in her head. After doing a lot of thinking, she thought about a plan and whispered it to her friends, her friends began making models of them, painted them and did everything required. Soon they began dancing, singing, having fun and doing ridiculous dance moves. the ghost immediately appeared and said, rather yelled ‘I said nobody will do fun things, so say your goodbyes, WAIT MR. GHOST I myself am disappointed, very disappointed in them, for breaking the rules you have said. Just you wait and I shall make a special funeral and you will make them into your meal.’’ The ghost said ‘I shall keep you all until tomorrow night, since tomorrow night is full moon. I shall devour them tomorrow. The ghost left, and by that time it was 9 P.M. and everybody was fast asleep they began setting everything up. Soon after setting them up, they walked to their seats and fell asleep. The next morning, they were feeling prepared and fresh. The ghost appeared to devour the girls into a meal and had also Invited his own friends, the ghost of TISB, the ghost of greenwood etc. The young girl who had supported the ghost stepped forward as the ghosts had sat down to watch their friend devour the girls. She was very anxious about the plan, but she was also very curious.
Chapter 2 The process began and they started off with prayer, at nighttime the ghost stepped forward and the girl took a step back to a lever, she had created the lever so when the ghost would kill her friends, she would push it and dolls would be filled with fake blood. The ghost of greenwood handed a sword to the Ghost of Oakridge. He stepped forward and raised the sword. Exactly when he raised, she tugged and the dolls appeared, the blood [fake blood] started oozing out and the ghosts stepped forward and applied the blood and vanished and the ghost of Oakridge stepped forward and applied the blood all over his face and the moment he finished applying the fake blood something strange, it was very strange. The ghost fainted and paralyzed and fainted. He collapsed with a loud thud. “Crash’’. It echoed in the auditorium. Suddenly one of the girls realized that a ghost had swept inside his body. One of the girls knew how to get the ghost out of his body. She said that she had to do a “YAGNA” [ there is no English word for that] to get the ghost out of his body. The next day she began, she started off with dozens of long mantras. She found a cozy spot for him to lie down, and she stretched out her arm and a twisted # curved position and said out some more very long mantras and prayers. Then she began, she said to the ghost “Come out of his body this body this instant “. Then she chanted some more mantras and twisted # curved her hand more and said, “My name is Jeeshan Jamshed “, and he repeated “My name is Jeeshan Jamshed”. As soon as he finished saying he got up normal. Surprised he said, “Where am I?” “Are you okay sir?” “Yes, I am fine.” He replied. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! THE END
THE AAN BROTHERS GO TO SWITZERLAND By Vivaan Ayyar PYP 4 B Chapter-1 Back To India We are four brothers, and our names are Vivaan, Ahaan, Ishaan and Nivaan. We are 19, 18, 15 and 14 years old respectively. We all love playing, traveling, goofing around and lots of excitement. Me, Vivaan and my brother Ishaan live in Bangalore; my cousins Ahaan and Nivaan are in Singapore. We are going to Switzerland. Ahaan and Nivaan came to my house in Bangalore because we are going on our trip together. We were excited to meet after two years. We planned to visit our grandparents on our way to Switzerland, they live in Nagpur. So together we started planning our trip; we had to book flights, hotels and we had to decide what places to go in Switzerland. We booked Emirates flight A380 business class to go to Lucerne, Switzerland. We almost forgot to book seats in the best mountain train in Switzerland “The Glacier Express”. We planned the train journey from Zermatt to St. Moritz. St. Moritz was well known as a resort town, and we all wanted to explore the same. We had to pack clothes but in an efficient manner as we didn't want to carry too much in our luggage. So, we planned to travel light by reusing our clothes. We packed some games, food to eat, energy bars and many more necessary travel things. The day arrived soon when we all were starting for Nagpur. We were super excited that it was going to be our first trip by ourselves. It was going to be exciting for sure. Our parents were a little hesitant at first, but we were able to convince them. We all boarded the Bangalore Nagpur flight, and our journey began. It took about one and half hours to reach Nagpur. Another hour to reach our grandparents’ house. Our tummies were growling to eat breakfast and we knew that our grandmother would have made delicious breakfast for us. We reached home and ate good food, then we played games with our grandparents which is our relaxing time with them. We then re-packed our luggage and headed for the airport to take a flight to Switzerland that evening.
Chapter 2 Off To Switzerland We reached the airport early enough, checked in our luggage and reached the boarding gate. Everybody was busy shopping, on their phones but we were just staring at the gate waiting for it to open. We just ran and we almost forgot to show the boarding pass. We ran so fast when the air hostess was just opening the door that we would be the first ones to board the flight. We quickly kept our cabin luggage in the overhead bin and sat in our seats. We were eagerly waiting for our meal on the flight. We slept well after that. We landed at Lucerne airport during lunch and ate at the airport. We took a taxi and reached our hotel. We were planning to stay in Lucerne for 2 nights. We relaxed for the rest of the day, and we went out for a wonderful dinner. Next day we finished our breakfast, rented a car, and drove to Mt. Titlis. We boarded the cable car to go to the top of Mt. Titlis. It was freezing cold between 0 degrees C to 1 degree C. We stayed there for a few hours and took pictures of the snowcovered Alps. It was a beautiful and breathtaking sight to view the majestic Alps. It started snowing and raining at the top of Mt. Titlis and we had to rush back down soon. We relaxed in a cafe sipping hot coffee in the backdrop of Mt. Titlis. What a view it was!!!! Next day we explored the local market of Lucerne, shopping for souvenirs, chocolates, and lots of goodies. It was time to say goodbye to Lucerne and move to the next destination, Zermatt. We took an express train from Lucerne to Zermatt and reached Zermatt around 2 PM in the afternoon. We relaxed in the evening and strolled in the city center. Next morning was the super exciting ride to view Matterhorn Glacier Paradise from Zermatt. Matterhorn is the birthplace of Toblerone, the yummy Swiss chocolate. We all played in the snow and had a super fun morning. We were planning to take the Glacier Express the next morning which was at 9 AM. As we had a lot of time in the evening, we all went out to party and the party extended late into the wee hours of morning. As we had slept very late, we didn't hear all the alarms ringing. Finally, when I woke up, I realized that it was half past eight. I screamed to wake up everyone and finally we rushed out of the hotel at 8.45 am. We quickly drove our rental car to the train station and reached it at 9.05 am. We realized that we had missed our train, “The Glacier Express”, the most extraordinary part of our trip. Our legs froze on the platform,
we didn’t know what to do. This was the best part of our trip where we were going to enjoy a panoramic view of the Alps from our train, but we missed it. Chapter 3 The 4 race the train We were standing on the platform, and we started discussing whether there is any hope. Then suddenly a thought struck me that we can chase the train to the next station. We enquired the Station Master when and where is the next stop of Glacier Express; we acted fast on the backup plan to drive to the next station. We started our car and zoomed out of the parking lot. We drove in Lucerne as if our car was on nitrogen power. We drove as fast as possible to the next station which is in Brig. It was a super amazing view which we were not able to enjoy as all of us were tense. We finally made it to the Brig station; parked our rental car and dashed into the parking lot. We had to run to the platform with our luggage and just made it in time before the train departed! Phew! That was close. We gave a sigh of relief as we didn't have to run again to catch another train. After a few minutes I realized the beauty of being inside the Glacier Express. I was gazing at the beautiful mountains through the ceiling; what a view. It was a sight to remember when the train went through the tall arches of the bridge and into the mountain. There were long tunnels through which we went. We also crossed the Swiss Grand Canyon which was as majestic as it can get. The last section was to St. Moritz which is where we planned to stop.
Chapter 4 The 4 say Goodbye We stopped at St. Moritz station and took a taxi to reach the hotel. We decided to take a dip in the heated pool and then we walked to a restaurant nearby. We had some delicious food which was Swiss special delicacies. This was our last night of the trip in Switzerland, and we wanted to enjoy every second of it. We went to the games room and played carrom, chess, pool and dart. Then we went to our rooms, we read a book and slept. The next day we woke up early so that we could do a little bit of packing and get ready to go to the airport. Once we reached the airport we checked in our luggage and bought some Swiss specialty chocolates. In the meanwhile, it was announced that it was time for boarding, so two of us went ahead to the boarding gate, while the other two packed some breakfast. After we boarded the flight, we watched movies and played games. We ate our breakfast and slept. We soon landed at Nagpur airport, and we quickly took out our hand baggage. We exited the plane and went to pick up our checked-in luggage. By far this was the first and the best vacation that the four of us did on our own. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our trip including chasing the train. We four promised each other that we would meet soon enough to have another adventure. The End
Lost!In A Jungle Yashna Kumsi Grade 4B Chapter 1: Lost! 8-year-old Manya woke up on a bright and sunny morning. Her parents were still sleeping so she decided to go on a walk. She wrote a note for her parents saying. "Dear mum and dad I've woken up and I'm going for a walk. I will be back in an hour. From Manya." Manya ate some breakfast and packs her binoculars, snacks, and her phone. She was ready for an awesome adventure! As she walked curiously, she wondered where she was going. She looked left and right forward and backward but then she un gladly and surprisingly noticed...she was lost! Chapter 2: Meeting a bear. Manya tries to look for help to get a way back home. As she looks, a growl is heard. Manya runs and hides behind a tree. But she was not fast enough. She was caught. Manya thought this scary creature was a bear. She was right. It was a bear, but it did not look like a scary, ferocious one. It looked like a kind, polite one. The bear said "Hello, my name is Malika and I'm a bear. Where are you going to child, and what is your name?" "My name is Manya and I'm trying to find my way back home, but I can't." "I can help you," Malika said. "Oh really!" Manya says excitedly "Thank you so much!" Malika shows Manya the way through her cave maze and they go through it. Manya thanks Malika as she sets of knowing she is closer to her home but remembering that she is still far.
Chapter 3: Spotting a panda. Manya keeps on walking when she spots a panda. Manya asks for the panda's name and replies saying that her name is Aarnavi. Aarnavi asks the same question. Manya tells Aarnavi her name. Aarnavi asks. "Where are you going, you're not a creature that belongs here. Well, you don't look like it." "Your right I do not belong here. The Survivor Rishith Reddy Grade 4B Chapter 1-The Introduction Hi, My name is Mike Munson, It’s been 40 days since I got stuck on this mysterious Island. I have been here for 40 days. So, there is no doubt that I have tried to call people, but there is no signal, no planes that go over this island. Wait! I didn’t tell you how I came here. Chapter 2-The crash landing I’ve been on a fighter jet that can go at the speed of light, Insane Right! It worked well until 12 minutes. The fuel went low! And I crash landed on this weird mysterious island. Wait, I could find some crude oil on this island right, I don’t know if we can find it, but we sure try. So, I started digging, after digging for 3 days he found crude oil, then it took 4 days to refine it and he got aviation fuel. Chapter 4- Escaped to get stuck. Then I filled my jet with aviation fuel, then I started to take off, then after 13 minutes the fuel went low again! The plane crash landed. But this time I landed in the ocean. Chapter 5- The Escape Then I few stuff from my plane I took the engine, propeller, a base and also some small solar panels then I started building it took 2 days, I was starving, then The thing I’ve been working on is done any guesses it is a boat which does not need fuel and goes at the speed of light so I’ve was able to go anywhere without a rescue team or anything then after few 18 minutes I saw land not just an empty land a land with people ! I was so happy that I started crying. Then I went closer, and I started seeing people. Chapter 6 - The Russians When I went close to them, they started to speak in a weird language then I have seen their flag, I recognized it, It is the Russian flag, I didn’t know there language so I took my translator, They were talking About me, they told that no one came from that island till now People say that there are dangerous tribes around the island, And I asked them if there is a name for the island? They told me its name is Severnaya Zemlya. I gasped in awe! Is it one of the most radioactive islands in the world! Is this the past or the future? So, I asked them for the date. They told me it is 1934. I kind of new that I must have gone through a wormhole or something I felt it in my guts that the wormhole is somewhere around here.

The Blood Eyed Witch Maya Ketkar Grade 4 Chapter 1: THE WITCH There was once a boy named Sam everyone thought he was weird. Because he used to write scary books. He was sad for this reason. So, he ran away from his home. He went to the basement to get his bicycle from the elevator. BOOM!! The elevator hit B8. Weird. BOOM!! A tall dark person with red eyes with blood red lips came suddenly. Sam got so afraid! It was a WITCH!! Are you special? she asked. I don't know, said Sam. The witch took 1 of Sam’s hair. Then she took out a potion and put his hair in it. It turned blue and it finally became red! You are special !! said the witch and took his hand and disappeared. Chapter 2: THE HOME The witch took Sam to the scary home. The home was big. Sam met a girl named Ava. The witch said read a scary book Ava. But which one? asked Ava. The witch told the boy to go get one of his scary books if you want to live!! He ran to his bag and got a book and started to read aloud. At the end of the book the witch told Ava to take Sam to a room. Sam asked Ava can we escape? There is no key, said Ava. We are the only children who are here, rest others are statues. Are you kidding me, exclaimed Sam. Let’s go save them, But Ava said No. In the morning Ava showed the library which was so big. She picked a book from the library which showed a list of ingredients for a sleeping potion. Sam and Ava decided they will make this potion for the witch. Chapter 3: THE GARDEN Ava explained the ingredients are in the garden outside. Garden, said Sam. Yes. As we are on the 12th floor of the house, the garden is on the 1’st floor and you will see it. Ok, can you come with me? asked Sam. Ava agreed to accompany Sam. So they went to the 1’st floor to find the big garden. It was so very beautiful with different colors. They collected the flowers from 2 different plants and 3 fruits which were from apple, cherry, and pineapple trees. Now, additionally there were 3 more ingredients on the list. 1.human blood!! Sam made a small scratch with a knife. 2. ten nails so they cut their nails. 3.Rat blood! But how can they get rat blood? Ava said go to the witch’s broom you will find a rat, you can get it from there. So, they captured the rat and got the blood. Finally, they made the potion by mixing all the flowers, fruits, and liquid things. Chapter 4: THE DINNER The witch discovered that her rat was missing and demanded Sam and Ava to find the rat by the next morning. She got hungry and told Sam and Ava to make dinner. Ava told Sam, the witch made all the kids into statues, so to save them they had to get the witch's ring from her fingers. The sleep potion, which was made, they then sneaked it in the witch’s food. The potion was
successful and made her sleepy. Before going to sleep, the witch sprayed on some perfume. Ava was looking at the witch and wondered why she put on the perfume. The witch was then fast asleep. Chapter 5: THE ESCAPE Ava got the ring and key from the witch and ran to the statues of the children. She said the magic words pointing the ring towards the statues- TURN BACK, ABRACADABRA. Through this magic, the statues turned into children, and they became free. They all ran to the door, used the stolen key, and reached the elevator. But the elevator did not work. The witch woke up suddenly as she had sprayed the perfume which cancels all other magic around her. She realized what Ava and Sam had done and came running behind all the children. BOOM!! BOOM!! The witch attacked Ava and put a curse on her. Ava started screaming in pain!! Sam said he will try to get the medicine and will find it from the witch’s garden. He started running towards the garden and suddenly realized he was sitting on his study table. It turns out all this while, this was a dream in which he was a part of, while writing the scary story for his class competition. He was shaking as he woke up because he could still smell the witch’s perfume in the air around him. So… was this a dream or something very real after all? THE END
The Boy with Power’s Sai Aarav Grade 4B How it all started There once was a boy called Alpha. He lived a normal life until a radioactive meteorite landed on earth sending radioactive waves through earth giving people superpowers. Alpha was one of them. Some powers were rare and exotic. Alpha got a rare power; some powers had their own mind, and they were evil. Some powers also damaged their user's body. The powers also infected the animal body, but the animal body couldn't handle the powers, so animals died a lot. As some powers started reacting, Alpha's powers also started reacting. His powers seemed out of control at times and hurt people, so he stopped attending school. After he stopped going to school, he went to a lake cabin. He wanted to control his powers, so he started by meditating to calm him down. Then based on the sudden events with his powers he thought his power was telekinesis, so he imagined with his eyes closed that all the fishes in the pond came above the water. In awe, he opened his eyes and saw the site he was seeing, but soon his power went out of control, the fishes dropped into the water, and he was injured. Alpha never gave up finishing his goal mastering his power but one evening a terrible storm came with his dead parent’s ghosts coming to warn him about a dangerous evil power coming. Upon checking the severity of the storm, he got warned, but the evil spirit was already there. Luckily, Alpha managed to control his powers for a while, so he was able to escape. Then he trained to control his powers and started learning how to control them. Going back to the city After learning how to control his powers he went back to the city. life changed again for alpha he had a tough time adjusting to the city but in some time it changed. Alpha had a lot of friends who have powers and met the storm spirit. Alphas friends were very skilled at fighting and had a lot of battle is. all of alphas friends meet up in a special laboratory where they all trained together, they even fought against holographic monsters like the storm spirit the next day when they all were training the storm spirit showed up it wreaked havoc on the city with its army, they infected more and more civilians while they destroyed the city. Alpha and his friends fought the storm spirit and protected the civilians, but they needed more help that's when alpha formed a plan of joining all their powers and launching it at the storm spirit and his minions. With all their strength at their disposal, they launched them
against the beasts, and all died except the storm spirit, which was fought with all their might by the ones with the most energy. The storm spirit was destroyed, but a small part of its power still roamed the earth after it was destroyed. The End

Her assistant came and said, princess Lilly, you must dance with the prince the day after tomorrow and then give a speech! She exhaled “Speech?” ... “Yes” he said. Princess Lilly exclaimed - “You do know I don't like speeches then why do you give me these tasks? He said, “You have got to get over your shyness.” “But I don't want to!” she said with a helpless expression. She slammed the door, and her assistant went away. Soon after, she went for a walk, and she saw a beautiful butterfly which suddenly turned into a key. She was surprised and started looking around for more clues and saw two more keys. Part 2 Then her assistant called her into the hall and said, “It’s time for practice!”. She kept the keys in her pocket and went. When she arrived, she saw the dance teacher Mr. Pondicherry. While dancing she tripped over his foot and fell with him. Mr. Pondicherry got very angry and when he was trying to get up, he could not!? Her assistant helped him up and took him to the doctor's place. She ran out before anybody could say anything at the main gate. Her grandma stopped her and gave her a book and told her to read it. She asked” This book?” Her grandma said “Yes”. Princess Lilly said “ok”. She took the book and went, but she got caught with a string that led her to a door with three locks. Part 3 Now she realized what those keys are for. She put those keys in the locks and unlocked it. She saw a light and a tunnel. She followed the tunnel. When she went through the tunnel, an arrow almost hit her. She saw two girls shouting “Intruder!!!” She was surprised that they would talk to a princess like that! She hid behind the big flower, but the girls said, “we know you are there, come out!” She came out slowly and before they shouted her, they noticed the tiara and said, “Your majesty!” They bowed and said

What else?” answered Elly. “Toys maybe? “Said Princess Lilly no! said Christy. “Anyway? You can use your magic to beat Malusha!” said Elly. “Sorry to disappoint you guys, but I don’t have magic”. The other people showed up and started laughing. “So, you did not notice the wand in your hair?” asked Elly Part 4 Princess Lilly slowly took out the wand and gasped “How?!” And she finally looked and saw her dress and twirled her dress in surprise”. “So? What were you wearing before?” asked Christy, “I don't know”. Lilly said” But I think it was something different.” She waved her wand and twirl of magic zapped Christy. Her dress became what Lilly wore. Then Christy screamed and said I want my dress back!!!!! Princess Lilly tried again but it did not work so they took her to the magic house so she could see it from her own eyes. They went in a tree elevator. It was awesome and, in the tree, it was the modernist appliance in the world, so when she went out, she almost fainted seeing unicorns and fairies and elves and princesses and mermaids and mermen and lots of gems… Part 5 Princess Lilly Shaked her head thinking all of it was a dream, but it was not. That lit up her eyes and she said “Wow! This is amazing”, She slowly took out her phone and before she could take a single picture Elly snatched it away. Princess got angry too, like she had never seen herself get angry before. Princess asked, “Why did you do that?” Elly said “You know why we called new people intruders so we can protect our SECRET! WOW you seriously did not know that?”, with that Elly stormed off. Princess Lilly just ignored her and saw many magic people with no magic at all. They were sitting quietly on a very long bench. They were so squeezed up in one tiny space. Christy said, “If you had not come, we would have been sitting there.” Christy felt sad that her fairy magic was gone. Christy wanted to show her something. She took her hand and made her follow. They went back in the lift and made even more up, as they went out of the lift. Princess Lilly felt terrified, but she saw a castle. Christy said, “It was Malusha’s castle.” Christy felt heart broken. When she noticed that beaming light was coming out of Malusha’s castle from the window, Christy ran away. Princess Lilly also followed in horror. She felt empathy as she ran, she thought how she would have felt if she lost something that she loved so much. Soon Princess Lilly found Christy sitting in a yacht. She ran even faster than before and sat next to her. It was not Christy, it was ELLY!!! Elly was looking so sad, Princess Lilly asked “Why are you sad?” Part 6 Elly stood up and said “I’m sad because I miss my friends. You and Christy, my own sister, betrayed me, so that's why I ran away.” Elly covered her face and ran away. Princess Lilly saw the long bench and ran there because she saw Christy. Princess Lilly whispered to Christy that she had planned of beating Malusha and giving everyone their magic back. Christy ignored Princess Lilly and just sat quietly on the bench with her phone on her lap playing music. So, Princess Lilly ignored her as well. She went in the lift to the topmost floor. She ran and imagined a bridge and waved her wand. It became true! When she went on the bridge, she saw two talkative gorillas, but also, they were the protectors of the castle. She made an excuse that she was a fan of Malusha and wanted to give her magic to Malusha and make her very happy. They let Princess Lilly in and saw a humongous plastic skirt and a child sitting on top of the skirt. Malusha was holding a big wand with a ball of magic. Princess Lilly got so scared and was almost going to run away, but then she prayed to God for luck. She said that she would have got a lot of love and luck. Malusha said “Well whom do we have here?” Princess Lilly stood up and told her name and said that she was
the princess of kindness. She asked for her blessings to which Malusha said “Fine! Only if you tell me, where the unicorns are?”, “Deal” Princess said. “So fine, you can find all the magic people in the magic house. There is hidden lift in a tree, I will show you the way” and with that Princess Lilly showed Malusha the magic house. She took everyone’s magic. “I am the only princess now!”, Malusha said with an evil voice as she grew bigger and bigger. Not only that she locked the unicorns in her castle she had cracked her ball of magic too. “Good thing she did not take my magic because she doesn't know that I am tricking her”, Princess Lilly spoke to herself. She noticed a crack on her ball of magic. She had an idea. Now she will give up her MAGIC!!!!!! so she said “HEY!!!!!!!!! MALUSHA YOU WANT ALL THE MAGIC? COME GET MY MAGIC TOO.” With that princess Lilly’s magic was going away, the moment it went, the ball started shaking and all that magic went back into Princess Lilly’s hand. Part 7 Princess Lilly looked at her hands twice and gave everyone their magic back. Christy got her wings and Elly got her tail! The fairies drifted, the mermaids and mermen went back in the pond, river, and lakes. Princess Lilly's dress changed into a beautiful long dress with lots of sashes. She twirled again and came out of the magic world. With that she left and wondered what Malusha would be doing now. Then she Shaked her head and moved on. She saw a light again and left it. She saw the three keys and pulled it out from the keyhole slowly. She heard her assistant calling for her for the ball event. Princess Lilly left for the ball. On the way, her assistant politely said “Princess Lilly, you look great”. And in ball, she saw her grandmother waiting for her. It looked like she knew everything. She asked, “Did enjoy the book?” Princess Lilly said, “Yes i loved it!” And then they all danced. Princess became more confident and fearless. She faced her fears and saved the magic world. She discovered that she was more courageous than she thought, and her shyness went away. That evening, Princess Lilly gave a lovely speech and received loud applause. The End

They can play in teams, trois, duos, and solo. Normally they play in teams. There are 2 teams (there can be more). They are: “The Fair players” and “The Problem openers”. In No.1 we have: Nix (Fox), Betsy (Beaver), Ravi (Peacock), Bruce(Gorilla), Lizzy(Axolotl), Milo(Flamingo), Larry(Chameleon), Iris(Snake), Fin(Shark), Skippy(Rabbit), Fuzzy(Penguin), Edna(also a Beaver), Louie(Mouse), Yara(Blue Macaw), Jade(Tiger), and Frank(Elephant). In team No.2 we have: Elaine (Panther), Romeo(frog), Henry (Bat), Buck (Bull), Molly (Kangaroo), Jack (Papa bear), Faye (Pink Anthropomorphic octopus), Quin(Capybara), Earl(Crab), Tony(Hippo), Ollie(Panda), Donna(Crocodile), Paolo(Zebra), Pepper(Giraffe), Shelly(Turtle), and Duke(Lion). In each battle there would be an argument started by the problem openers. The person to solve all those arguments is Steve (Eagle). Steve is very smart and always solves the problem that interferes with the battle. There are also guards that have weapons, the teams need to kill the guards to get the weapons (Guards don’t respawn if they die). There is a LEGENDARY Guard too. The legendary guard has legendary weapons. If any animal/player kills the legendary guard, they get the legendary weapon. There are 4 weapons in total throughout the game: Bow and arrow, spear, shotgun, and a bomb. Each character has: Skins, A Primal instinct, Super moves, and Items that you can equip. The animals become stronger through levels. If they increase their level, they become stronger. For example, Jade is in level 5. If Jade upgrades herself to a level 6 or higher, she becomes stronger. Chapter 2 - Skins, Primal instincts, Super moves, and Items: Team 1 Not all Skins, Primal instincts, Super moves, are the same (few of them are). First is the Super Moves. Nix - Nix’s super move is that he can dash away to a nearby place. He dodges attacks very easily. Betsy - Betsy’s super move is that she drops logs to get health and to defend herself. Ravi - Ravi’s super move is that he charms enemies to aim their weapons randomly to a random position. Bruce - Bruce’s super move is that he jumps up and slams down at the opponent. Lizzy - Lizzy’s super move is that she drops eggs to damage whoever touches them (Only opponents) and give health to whoever touches them (Only teammates). Milo - Milo’s super move is that he stands on 1 leg in a graceful position which doesn’t damage him when he is attacked. Larry - Larry’s super move is it becomes invisible for a solid 5-7 seconds. Iris - Iris's super move is that she Pounces towards an opponent and bites them, shooting poison. Fin - Fin’s super move is that he dashes forwards and bites his opponents. He gets health when he does that. Skippy - Skippy’s super move is that he jumps over high objects and to dodge attacks. Fuzzy - Fuzzy’s super move is that he slides/glides on the ground to go faster and dodge attacks. Edna - Edna’s super move is that she puts a spiky trap. Louie - Louie’s super move is that he summons his rat minions to help him kill opponents. Yara - Yara’s super move is Indomitable performer, it has 3 different song auras, mending mambo, is what heals Yara and her teammates, Swift Samba, is what gives boost to her and her teammates, and Caca-phony does damage to enemies is the musical aura. Jack - Jack’s super move is that he howls, granting speed and damage bonus to himself and nearby allies. Faye - Faye’s super move is that she splashes ink in an area, making her enemies blind for a few seconds, she has 5 seconds to blind her enemy. Quin - Quin’s super move is that she butt-stomps on the Ground/Water. She jumps and then stomps the ground, giving damage + slow to all opponents on a radius. Earl - Earl’s super move is that he grabs his opponents closer to him to attack easily, or to stop them from attacking. Tony - Tony’s super move is just like Louie’s, but he sends his bird companion Gigi to help him attack. Lizzy - Lizzy’s Primal Instinct is that when enemies step on Lizzy Eggs, they will become slower. But if they are her teammates, they become faster. Milo - Milo’s Primal Instinct is that once he uses his super move, his attack and speed will be buffed for a while. Larry - Larry’s Primal Instinct is that when he comes out of camouflage mode, he will have a speed boost. This will help him to have the perfect escape. Iris - Iris’s Primal Instinct is that the opponents of Iris’s poison will have a speed reduction. Fin - Fin’s Primal Instinct is that whenever he gets near an enemy that is with low health, he will become faster and do more damage. Let’s just say that the opponent dies. Skippy - Skippy’s Primal Instinct is that when he starts hopping, nearby enemies will become slower. Fuzzy - Fuzzy’s Primal Instinct is that if he uses his super move an Icey trail will follow. If an enemy touch it, they will automatically slow down. Edna - (Edna doesn’t have a Primal Instinct.). Louie - Louie’s Primal Instinct is that his rats will become stronger and bigger. Yara - Yara’s Primal Instinct is that she gets excited to have an audience and temporarily sings all her songs at once. Frank - Finally Frank’s Primal Instinct is that he becomes heavier when he is inflated. Then he will shake the ground and slow down any nearby opponents. Chapter 7 - Primal Instincts Team 2 These are the Primal Instincts of each character in Team 2: Elaine - Elaine’s Primal Instinct is that when she uses her super move on an opponent, she applies fear on that target. Romeo - Romeo’s Primal Instinct is that every time he hits an opponent with his super move, the super move will have its cooldown set to the number of seconds the super move cooldown will have left after the Primal is activated. Henry - Henry’s Primal Instinct is that once he bites an enemy when he flies, not only will he get life but also, he will get life regeneration for some time. Buck - Buck’s primal Instinct is that when he uses his super move and starts charging, his feet stomp will attract opponents to him. Molly - Molly’s Primal Instinct is that his companion Joey will become lighter, and he’ll be untamable! He will become extra fast to run around and pick items/weapons. Jack - Jack’s Primal Instinct is that during a howl, all enemies in that howl range will get a fear status effect. The frightened enemies will get extra damage on every attack. Faye - Faye’s Primal Instinct is that the enemies inside the Ink cloud {Super move} will have lower defense while under the ink’s effects. Quin - Quinn’s Primal Instinct is that the super move Bomb Dive will also stun opponents. Earl - Earl’s Primal Instinct is that now not only will he grab opponents, but he will give a punch before, giving more damage and doing it faster than ever! Tony - Tony’s Primal Instinct is that his companion Gigi leaves a trail of rap music that increases Tony’s Ally’s’ speed. Ollie - Ollie’s Primal Instinct is that after using his super move he will recover some HP as usual he will also take a while to digest it, so he will recover more HP overtime. Donna - Donna’s Primal Instinct is that after she leaves the water, she will have a boost on her speed and damage. Paolo - Paolo’s Primal Instinct is that the area of effect of the super move is increased. Pepper - Pepper’s Primal Instinct is that he can move while using his super move. He moves a little bit slower than usual, but enough
to dodge attacks and create new strategies. Shelly - Shelly’s Primal Instinct is that if she uses her super move {Hiding in her shell}, whatever attack is aimed on her it will just go back to the animal that tried to shoot her. Duke - Duke’s Primal Instinct is that whenever he uses his super move, he roars in a circle to stun his opponents better. Chapter 8 - Skins, Primal Instincts, and Super moves of the Problem Solver Now that we know the Skins, Primal Instincts, and Super moves of all the characters in both the teams, let’s know what the Problem Solver’s are. {AKA Steve}. Steve's Super move is that he can fly up high in the air only with his shadow seen to opponents, and slam down on them. His Skins are: Hot Shot Steve, Sandstorm Steve, Zoo Watch Steve, Turkey Steve, Plague Doctor Steve, Sushi man Steve. With this let’s know the weapons of each character in both the teams. Few characters have Bow and arrow, Spear, and Shotgun. Few other characters have bomb, spear, and Shotgun. Other characters have Shotgun, Spear, and Bomb. And another few have Bomb, Spear, and Bow and arrow. Few other characters have a different combo. But only one character in the game has all the weapons, and that character is Faye. Chapter 9 - The Argument Now both the teams are having a battle. They have a team discussion and start the game. Everyone started to spread out in team 2! How are they going to communicate and play like that!? On the other hand, Team 1 is very focused. They are spreading out, but not too far unlike team 2. Suddenly, someone got hit brutally in team 1. It was Milo! Lizzy was with Milo, so she said with a shocked face” It was Jack, I saw him do it, He did it on purpose!” Steve was flying in the sky watching the whole game. He comes down to where the accident had happened. “Alright, alright what happened now?” He asked as he rolled his eyes. “It was Jack, he pushed Milo very hard on purpose! I saw it!” Lizzy said worriedly. “What no, I didn't do anything, she’s lying!” Jack lied. “‘Ok guys, I know how to settle this.” Steve said. “But how?” Jack, Milo, and Lizzy asked. “I’m going to watch everybody closely, and if something like this happens to any of the teams, the team that did the foul will automatically lose.” Steve answered. “Ok” the three said. After some more like about 12 mins later another foul interrupted the match. It seemed that Nix was hit brutally this time! Now Lizzy was with Nix. Jack was also there. “It was him! It was him! It was Jack who pushed Nix down I saw!” Lizzy said, screaming. “What? It wasn’t me! I was on the other side of the map when the accident happened. Then I wanted to see if anyone was there, and then I found you guys worrying!” Jack said. Then Steve landed at the crime scene. “Ok Lizzy, I know that it was you who did it. I have been watching.” Steve said.
Chapter 10 - The problem gets solved. “What? No, it was not me! Why would I do that to my own teammate?!” Lizzy lied. “Oh really, fine then, Nix, you tell us who did it.” Steve asked Nix. Nix said in an injured voice, “It was Lizzy.” See, what did I tell you?” Steve said. Everybody in team 1 gasped and asked, “Why did you do that Lizzy?” “It’s because I was jealous of Nix because she was the better player.” Lizzy said in disappointment. “Just because Nix is a better player than you don’t mean you are the worst one in the team.” One of the team players said. Then Steve said” Now apologies and accept your defeat” “Ok. I’m sorry Nix” Lizzy apologized to Nix. “It’s ok Lizzy” Nix forgave her. THE MYSTERIOUS FACTORY SANJITH K Grade 4 B Chapter 1 There was a factory which produced blowing glass. There were many workers in the factory. It gave them their livelihood. They all where were living close to the factory. Some workers were working in the night shift, the factory workday and night to produce the glass to the supply to shopkeeper. But suddenly one day the fire broke out which took away the lives of many workers. the families were sad. the whole place was very mournful. the families where grieving for their loved ones, some workers had Sevier burn injuries. They were getting treatment in the hospital; some were severely burnt. Chapter 2 Everyone was just wondering why this mishap occurred with them. One elderly wanted to know the real cause of this accident. so, she gathered all courage and sneaked into the factory in the midnight, she could still smell the burning flesh even after so many days of this accident. the factory looked very dark and creepy, another lady of the place saw the elderly lady going in the glass factory, she went near the factory and waited on a bench outside for the lady to come back. The elderly lady did not come out of the factory even after a day or two. so, the women reported to local men they decided to investigate with some detective agency they approached Sam & brothers very famous detectives. Chapter 3 Brothers went inside the factory and to their surprise they found the lady who was inside and never returned she was burnt and no more alive. They were shocked to see that everything in the factory was burnt. as they went further, down they saw some footsteps leading to the science lab which was used to check the quality of the glass, they also found that there were some fingerprints on the document which where all around the lab. All the papers with the fingerprint had some important recipe to make the glass. One paper said (I stole the recipe and said the factory on fire. Chapter 4 Sam and brothers had a big task in hand to catch the culprits. They were the cause of this disaster. Many people who were alive lost their livelihood. They knew this was the insider’s work. So, they started gathering the information about the workers and the staff of the factory. They were interviewing each of them. A few of them were acting sus. After further investigation the agents
were sure about these people who would made this plan to sabotage the factory. They were all called separately for enquiry. Chapter 5 One of the workers spilled the beans and told the truth. He was quite timid and frightened. He thought that the agents would let him free if he told them the truth. When the truth came out everyone felt miserable and pathetic. Just to make their business flourish they had this cruel and wicked plan. So many lost their livelihoods. Chapter 6 Sam and brother had this next task to solve the mystery of the dead woman who went inside the factory during midnight. When they investigated further, they found that the woman got a call from someone on that dreadful night, and it appeared the callers asked her to come inside. They were trying to strike a deal with her. It see4med the formula to make the quality glass was held by the lady. They tried to give handsome amount, but she did not, so in a rage of anger they killed her and later burnt her, so it looked as this was ghostly act. The End
The Missing Necklace Abhimanyu Singh Grade -4B Chapter 1- “Jack, can you get me some lemonade? '' said Peter to his brother. “I was going to ask the same thing to you,” said Jack. They both were lying down in their lawn feeling extremely hot. “You know what, let's just go inside,” said Peter. They both went inside and put the fan to five. To get their mind off the heat they played ludo. Then they both watched tv. They were in the middle of a very interesting part when they heard their mother screaming from her room. They rushed to their mother’s room to find out what happened. It turned out that a thief in a black color dress stole her necklace. And not just any necklace it was the one she was most attached to. Chapter 2- Peter and Jack were determined to find their mother’s necklace. They decided to investigate this case themselves. Peter and Jack spent one hour trying to convince their parents not to call the police so that they could investigate this case themselves. They finally managed to. They decided to start investigating right now. They asked their mother from which door did the thief escape. She said the backdoor. So, they went to the back door to see if the thief had left any footprints. There were some so they followed them. They ended up in a bush. But there was nobody behind the bush. Chapter 3- They looked around if they could spot the thief. They saw him. He was on a motorcycle. They tried catching up, but he was too fast. But they got a good look at the thief’s face, and they saw that at the back of his t-shirt was written “number one”. They turned back disappointed. But then they saw another man in black clothes. He ran away as soon as he saw them. This man had number 2 written behind his t-shirt. He didn’t notice but while he was running a note fell out. Peter and Jack picked it up. On it was written “tonight at 7:00 meet me in the museum. Let’s have a meeting. To number one”. Peter and Jack knew that the letter was for number one since it was written at the end of the note “to number one”. Plus, this museum they were talking about was right next to their house. It was a place with statues of people like Barack Obama, Rajendra Prasad, Eliza Beth, and other famous people like that. So, they both decided to go to the museum at 6:50 that night. . Chapter 4- So, at 6:50 that night they left the house and entered the museum. “Ooh look there’s Kapil Dev with his cricket bat,” said Jack. “Don’t get distracted Jack,” said Peter. Then suddenly they heard footsteps. “Quickly hide,” said peter. They both hid behind a very bold looking Bhagat Singh with his sword. Jackson is an adult man living alone in his apartment. Jackson was having a good live! On the start of every day, he gets mail from his teammates at work, but today he got a letter from his parents! He started to read, it said “Dear Jackson, this is your mum and dad. Since thanksgiving is in a few days and we were getting bored we decided to invite you! Please come to our house. Address: House No 234, Dretud street, Next to the crocodile river. (Not a real place) Warm regards Your mum and dad,” Jackson was so excited! After reading his letter Jackson put the news on the tv. It said “Hello citizens of Thermos city (Not a real place) we have just found out that a huge asteroid from outer space has just hit our earth! We want everyone to be careful. This huge asteroid has just been lifted by a huge crane, and it has been brought to the Litedare Laboratory (Not a real place). This hole was made in the road to Dretud street next to the crocodile river. For any crocodile fans who are watching today's news, the crocodiles are fine. Please do not go to the huge hole the asteroid made because you might fall in! This hole will be covered in about 5-6 months. Since his parent’s house was 34km away he thought of walking there. So then when he was ready, he went, and started his journey to his parent’s house for thanksgiving! He walked for 7km and then remembered something; he forgot something at home! His TEDDY BEAR! He was long away from home. He ran back home and got his teddy bear. Jackson can NOT sleep without his teddy bear. By this time, it was night and he decided to sleep at home. He jumped in bed with his teddy bear. Before he went to sleep, he set an alarm clock for 5 Am.” RING RING RING” the clock shouted. Jackson turned the clock off. Then he got ready for the actual journey to his parent’s house for thanksgiving! Chapter-2 The journey This time he forgot nothing. After 11 km he got hungry, so he sat under a tree and ate his lunch. He got two cucumber, mushroom, mayonnaise and chicken sandwiches. It was his secret food that he only knew about. He ate for thirty minutes. After lunch he packed his lunch box into his bag and started walking again. After two more km he saw a little house. He was an explorer, so he examined the little house. He found old paintings, rusty utensils, ripped up photos and much more. The most interesting thing he found was an old basement. He took out his gun and flashlight and went down the stairs to the basement. When he got there the floorboards, he stamped on made a creaking sound. He went through cobwebs and old toys. Jackson said, “I should probably continue on my walk”. So, he got out of the basement and went out the door by this time it was night. He took out his sleeping bag, teddy bear and a book. He read it and fell asleep. The next day it was “Thanksgiving!” He walked for 13 more km, and he found “The huge hole!” This hole was made by the big asteroid from space. He was thinking of wash to get across. Chapter-3 The huge hole He got “4” ways to get across!His First Idea was to carry about 5-7 Huge stones to build a path in the hole. “Hmm…… Wait! Wouldn’t I just get crushed by only holding one stone?” Jackson thought to himself. “Yes, I would!” His second idea was to walk around the hole, but he would get tired because it’s a 72 km wide hole! His third idea was to get a car and try to go around the
hole once again, but he wouldn't have enough fuel. His Last idea was to call his friend who had a helicopter. “Wait this idea might work!” So he called his friend Mike (The owner of a helicopter) and said “Hey Mike, do you mind coming to the huge hole?” Mike said “Why?” “To get across it.” Jackson said “Okay I’m coming!” Mike said. After about three minutes Mike came. Climb aboard Partner! Mike said. Then the duo flew over the huge hole. Thanks Mike! Jackson said. No problem. Mike said and he flew back to his house. He walked for 2 more km and came across the crocodile river! Chapter-4 The crocodile river The crocodile river!?! I totally forgot about this! Oh no! What will I do? Suddenly a crocodile jumped out of the river. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! Jackson shouted in fear. He could see his parents on the other side of the river. MUM, DAD HELPPPPP! Jackson said! Don’t worry Jackson that’s just Mater he’s one of the crocodiles who live here! His mum said. He’s just excited to see you! Umm…………. okay. Jackson said with a little bit fear left. Hey son just get on to Mater’s back he’ll bring you here! His dad told. Okay. A scared Jackson said. He climbed onto Mater’s back and Mater swam across to the other side. It’s okay Jackson, you are safe now. Both parents told. Then the 3 went into the house of the mum and dad. While eating the thanksgiving meal Jackson told all about his big adventure he had while coming here. Jackson had never had an adventure like that before! The End
Survival on The Island Ananmay Maheshwari Grade 4 B Samarth, hailing from a rich family, wanted to become a pilot. His father had his own private jet and he had promised Samarth to allow him to fly the jet independently when he turned 18. Samarth had been dreaming about that day ever since. He started preparing for his maiden flight by joining a flight school. He even met his girlfriend, Kriti there. Both Samarth and Kriti were excited about flying his father’s jet independently and were training to be good pilots with all their heart. On the D Day, Samarth and Kriti reached the airport sharp at 8:00 am. And within 15 minutes of reaching the plane, they were in the sky. It was a clear, bright day, so the flight promised to be hassle free. At around ten thirty, after two hours of flying, they were almost above Andaman Island. Suddenly, without any warning, a flock of birds crashed into the engines. In a matter of seconds, everything was out of control and plane was swirling downwards to crash into the waters. Both the amateur pilots panicked and were not able to think clearly. Finally, Samarth calmed down a bit, remembered his training on unavoidable crashes and told Kriti to jump from the plane with parachutes. After pulling the parachutes with great force, they managed to get them opened and were able to land in cold waters of Indian Ocean. The water was freezing, and it made breathing very hard. They knew they couldn’t survive like this for very long. They swam here and there, and they spotted an island almost 500 meters away. When they were almost at the shore, they saw a barrage of arrows coming towards them. They ducked under water and escaped the arrows, but they realized that they were not going to be welcomed on the island. But they had to get out of water, it was so freezing cold. They swam a little further and came out on desolated part of island. There they dried up under the sun, plucked some fresh fruits and drank coconut water to refresh themselves. With some sharp things they had carried from the plane, they cut wood and made a small hut to live in until they figured out how to escape. The next day they decided to explore this new island in the hope to discover a way to escape from there and get back to their homes. On the island, they first saw a forest. It was not a normal one but a wild dense jungle full of deadly animals like snakes, tigers, wolves etc. Then they saw a village full of tribe people and realized that these people were the ones who had attacked them the day before. On the ground, they could see ancient gold statues lying in the open. Each statue seemed to be worth crores of rupees. They also saw rocks which had something written on it. But they couldn’t understand the tribe language and after roaming around the village for some time, decided to go back to their hut on the other side of the island. The next day Samarth and Kriti went to find food in the forest. Without any warning, they found themselves being chased by the tribe people. They started throwing and shooting their spears and arrows. Samarth and Kriti didn’t know what to do, so they started running blindly and looking for places to hide. As they entered the jungle part of the island, the tribe people, being afraid of the jungle and the dangers it held, stopped chasing them and went back to their village. Using that opportunity Samarth hid in a bush and Kriti hid behind a tree. When the tribe people were gone, they came out from their hiding places. Samarth and Kriti were checking if everyone were gone. Just then, they heard a big explosion behind them of a volcano erupting. There was smoke all around them and hot lava was flowing down towards them burning everything in its way. When they reached the village, they saw everyone had gone leaving the entire village behind. Samarth and Kriti took all the food and material they needed. They took time and constructed a small raft on the sand. Samarth had been trained for these situations, so he knew what he had to do. Using big logs, heavy rocks and green leaves, Samarth made a boat and Kriti put all the stuff on the boat. And they left the island to go to Vishakhapatnam or some Indian coastal city and they left for the seas. For a few days, they travelled in a raft and with the food from the village, they were able to survive. They reached Vishakhapatnam and spent a few days over there and then bought a ticket back to Goa. Samarth went and hugged his parents and Kriti also hugged her parents. They continued taking classes because they wanted to be a part of the list of the 10 best
pilots. Later in their lives, they joined “Air India” and started piloting commercial flights across the world. Krishna was disappointed and angry with his parents for not letting him play. One fine day in the morning there came to a boy named Bala to Krishna's neighbor's house. He was so smart and intelligent, Krishna was happy to see him, and he became friends with Bala. Bala was a caring and knowledgeable boy; he helps all the people in his village. Krishna was so interested in Bala's work and caring for others. Krishna asked Bala to help him as he was good at sports not at studies, so his parents are angry with him. So, Bala told him it is very easy to do both works. Bala got first place in studies and sports. Then Krishna asked him how come he can do both studies and sports equally. Bala explained to Krishna about his daily routine which he follows to study and play. Bala showed his work plan and how he follows it every day and he also helped Krishna in his daily routine plan, to do his work on time, then Krishna felt easy to do his studies and play. Krishna thanked Bala for his help in his needs, hey both became good achievers in all fields and they became best friends forever. Surge was the real mastermind behind all of this, Mark was the adventures one, finally Jordan he was the plan maker/decision maker. Once when Jordan was reading a newspaper, he found out they had an upcoming mission. When the astronauts found some new planet called Buzz, he had so much excitement in his body! So, he rushed to tell surge and mark. Surge was yet awake, and mark was ready for treasure hunting, when they both got know about this, they also were excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mark was the happiest of all. The very first thing they had to do was fly to planet buzz to fly to planet Buzz they needed a spacecraft, so surge gave a suggestion to Jordan that they need about 10$ billion dollars for a spacecraft from NASA CEO. Jordan and his two friends arranged and tried to have a meeting with the NASA CEO, they tried several times, then they passed. The CEO said OKAY you all will have your spacecraft in six months. Chapter 2 The spacecraft All three of them waited for six months. Finally they got a call from the NASA CEO, he told that they should come to NASA and surge will be taught how to fly it.All of them went to NASA, then all three of them went to NASA, when they went there they were greeted by the CEO and then surge went with a guide to learn how to fly the spacecraft, while Jordan and mark were enjoying a drink with the CEO and talking about what the CEO does as his role and what they all do. An hour was over it was evening 6:00 surge came back was ready to fly the spacecraft. The three of them and the CEO walked over to the space craft. The trio climbed up the rocket, Jordan and Mark were busy wearing the space suits, surge had already worn one, he was examining the buttons. They are ready for takeoff. Surge has learned everything, and he looked like he had come prepared. The countdown started from 10 to 0, by the time it hit 0 surge quickly pushed a lever and the spaceship sped off into the sky. They were going around 5000 mph. In a matter of seconds, they were shot up at the sky, there was no sign of Buzz so they went little closer to mars, and there was Buzz they could also see magnificent gold, so they quickly rushed to Buzz. Chapter 3 - THE ADVENTURE All three of them landed safely on the ground in the last they could see a huge! Amount of gold. They could also see three lines of defense, the first one was scary witches mounted on top of their flying brooms the next thing were lasers if you touch them your sliced into pieces, the next thing was gigantic giants who never looked down and looked dumb. It looked scary, but it was not. Surge had carried a tv for no reason so he turned it on and placed on the ground and put a movie, in seconds all the witches flew towards the tv and staring at it so they went forward the next thing was dangerous lasers so what surge did was disconnecting the energy poles so that the laser would turn off so he did that and it turned off so they went forward, next there was a swarm of dumb giants standing. Not looking down so all three of crawled for 500 meters. They saw a huge amount of gold then Jordan told the three of them that we will divide it properly this time. They all went back to the spaceship and Surge got his TV back. Later they all returned to the earth.

They came to research The Lost Island. Because if you go there, you will never come back, and no one knows why. Plus, they wanted to talk about it in their blog. So that’s why they wanted to research the island. One day they packed their food, water, and phones and set sail on the ship. When they were in the Kailanni Ocean. Something horrifying happened, The shipwrecked! Oh no! They left all their belongings and quickly swam to find land. Then they thought they reached land, but they realized they were on a STRANDED ISLAND!!! Chapter 2 SOS SIGN When they realized they were on a stranded island, they were scared. They tried to scream but no one heard. Then they realized they left all their belongings, and their phones too. Because they left their phones on the ship, they had to find some other way to communicate. Then they tried to think. They got the answer. Lucy said that they could do the smoke signal, but Lily mentioned that they don’t have match sticks, and she was right. Then Lily said that they can do the pigeon post, but Luna mentioned that no pigeon’s come here because it’s a stranded island, and she was right. Then Luna said that we can do the SOS sign. Lucy and Lily asked “What is the full form of SOS? ``. Luna said it means “Save our Ship”. So now you guys know what the full form is. We can finally write The SOS since we already have the materials. That is a stick and sand which we already have. Then they started to write it. Chapter 3 THE BASIC ESSENTIALS When they finished writing the SOS sign. They noticed it was the evening and it started to get cold. So, they decided to make a shelter. They decided to give roles to everyone. For Luna, it is to find some sticks. For Lily, it is to find some twine or rope. For Lucy, it is to find some big logs. So, they started to build the shelter. Now the 1st step is done, that is building. And then they sleep in their house. Now it is morning, and it is the hottest day in the world, and they are thirsty. They all know their water is all around the island. Lucy and Luna ran towards the water. When Lily screamed, “Stop That is salty water”. They stopped and asked, “But why do we know it is salt water, but don’t you know that the water doesn't become salty when it gets boiled and it’s super-duper hot today, so you also come and join us”. Lily agreed and joined them. Chapter 4 THE Mysterious person After they drank the water, they heard a person. Lily said, “I thought that we were alone”. Lucy said, “Well I guess we're not “. They thought it was their imagination so they all just rested. After 6 hours they heard their sound again. Now they knew it was not their imagination, and it was real. The sound sounded like a boy. Then they realized it was coming behind the palm tree. Then they saw a boy. Then Luna said, “What is your name, and how did you end up”. The boy said, “My name is Liam, and I and my family were discovering this island and a tsunami came. My dad luckily saved me and gave his phone to me, but now they're not with me anymore”. It said that this island is The Lost Island and every day it shrinks one inch but on August 31st the island is going to vanish… And they realized it is August 21 and they only have 10 days to get out of the island. THE MAGICAL LEAF K Anjana 4B Chapter -1 People of Castikapuram village in Northern Karnataka lived a simple life helping each other. The village did not have any hospitals for basic treatment and people suffered a lot. For getting treatment they used to travel more than 120 km. People approached village head for ideas to solve the problem. The village head name was Guitjo and he was very clever and agile. He called for a meeting on 14th July to discuss the problem. Vikrant the son of the village head was smarter than his dad and told his dad that we can approach nawab of Bijapur and ask for money and land to build the hospital. We can also request him to assign some doctors to work at our hospital. Village head said since we have not paid tax, we cannot approach king for help. Vikrant asked his father to announce that every family must save money for the next 2 years, so that we have enough money to pay tax to the king. His father said yes with a smile. On 14th of July, Village head announced in a panchayath that very household must save money for next two years which will be used to pay tax to the King. The people agreed and started saving money. Next day when Vikrant went to school, he saw a very rich boy coming in. The teacher introduced him as the king's son and informed the class that Vikrant will be the buddy for the King’s son. The name of the King’s son was Contrio. Vikrant was excited because he could discuss the hospital problem with Contrio and request him to tell his father to give the land and doctors. He also thought of asking Contrio to inform the king that villagers will pay the tax in 2 years. When Contrio was thinking where to sit Vikrant grabbed his hand and asked him to sit with him. He agreed and sat next to him. When Vikrant narrated the village problem and their idea to solve, contrio agreed to help. The next day in school Contrio informed Vikrant that his, father has accepted their proposal of paying tax in 2 years. When Vikrant told his father everything that happened between him and King’s son when he heard everything, he was so happy and said we are finally going to get a hospital. Chapter 2 By the end of a year the people paid the partial tax to the king. Summer started and Vikrant’s father called for a meeting. Since it was Summer Vikrant missed the meeting and went on a school trip to Hyderabad. Vikrant and his classmates checked in to a hotel called enjoy. Each room was different with unique facilities. Vikrant was not comfortable to share the rooms. Since the room was large, he did not mind and moreover contrio the king`s son was also s sharing room. He asked contrio if the King has received the tax paid by the Villagers. Contrio said yes and told him that Hyderabad has a magic leaf and whoever gets that leaf will become rich and will be able to pay remaining tax. Vikrant asked how he knew about the magic leaf. Contrio said his father had revealed this secret to him and asked him to help villager’s find the same. Vikrant was delighted
and asked contrio if we can search the magic leaf from tomorrow. Contrio said we will sneak out of the hotel and leave a letter to mam about our search and my father will make our teacher to accept our proposal. Vikrant agreed hesitatingly. He felt guilty to sneak out without permission, but it was night and contrio already slept. There was nothing to do about it and hence Vikrant also slept. The next day Vikrant woke up early but to his surprise contrio was still sleeping. Vikrant tried to wake him up, but Contrio wanted to sleep for some more time. Vikrant asked Contrio when we will go in search of the magic leaf. Contrio said we will do in evening and asked him to pack his bag. Vikrant said OK with a smile and thought contrio was very lazy and started his work. Chapter-3 Contrio was dressing up while Vikrant was packing the luggage. Once they were ready it was time for lunch, and they went down to get their food. After lunch they slept for a while and when they woke up it was evening. Vikrant picked the luggage and asked Contrio how are we going to sneak out. Contrio said there is a back door in every room and through this we can escape from there and go to mam’s room and drop the leave letter. My dad will call mam and make her accept our proposal and we will go in my car and the driver will take us to another hotel called jupon joy where we will find our first clue in the storage room. Vikrant was excited and brimming with energy to get the magic leaf. Come on let’s go Vikrant exclaimed and both of them escaped out of the backroom and sneaked into mam’s room where mam was sleeping, and they put the envelope on the table and went to the car and sat inside. The driver started the car. When they reached the hotel, it was night. There room number was 1245 and after unpacking their stuff they slept. Chapter -4 When Vikrant got up, he saw that Contrio had already dressed in shorts and shirts. Vikrant asked wow how were you able to get up so early? Contrio replied I was planning to surprise you with some tea and biscuits. OH, thankyou Contrio what a sweet surprise said Vikrant. Ok now quickly get ready and we must start now otherwise we will be late. Yes, yes, I will be done in a minute said Vikrant. After Vikrant got ready both went to get breakfast. Once they were finished with their breakfast, they went to the storage room of the hotel to search for the first clue that would help them to get close to the magic leaf. When they reached there, they were surprised to millions of cans. Vikrant thought they will never be able to find the first clue. Lost in thought Vikrant didn’t see that Contrio had already started to search for the clue. Vikrant found a shovel and he started digging through the cans. After 2 hours of searching Vikrant was able to find the clue and they quickly escaped from the storage room. Chapter-5 The first clue indicated that the next clue they will find in the pg-amusement park. Vikrant and Contrio went for having lunch. After they came from lunch, they took a little mid nap. Once they woke up, they rushed to the car, Contrio told the driver to drive to “pg-amusement park”. When they reached, they saw none. It was very spooky. Vikrant said with a sight “I thought it will be a crowed, but no one is here”. When Vikrant was opening to read the first clue, he saw Contrio had disappeared. He was so frightened then he heard a voice “dear boy you must find the second clue and the magic leaf on your own otherwise you will be tricked by your friend’s father. Vikrant mustered courage to explore himself. Suddenly a hand showed and near to it he saw a big slide and inside the slide was the second clue and at the end of the slide was a pool and the clue was slipping. Immediately Vikrant rushed and stood in the pool and when the clue came out, he catches it. Then he saw Contrio and his car. Contrio hugged Vikrant and said congrates. Vikrant said thanks and they went back to the hotel. Chapter-6
Once they reached Contrio asked can you read the next clue? Vikrant said OK and started reading “in the amusement park where you feel most scared you will find the leaf”. Vikrant said I will be scared of the roller coaster and I think I must get on to it to get the magic leaf with a heavy sigh. Contrio said that’s ok because I used to be scared but after I tried it was super fun. Vikrant nodded. It was night so but of them slept. Vikrant had a dream and in that dream he was going in a roller coaster and all of a sudden it stopped, while he was crying in fear he saw the magic leaf . After he picked it up everything became black. When he woke up it was the morning and Contrio was brushing his teeth and once he was done, he asked what dream you had you were screaming in the night. Vikrant said I saw what will happen today. He narrated the dream to his friend. Both went down and had their breakfast. Contrio called the driver and asked hm to drive to the place where they went yesterday. When they reached Contrio disappeared, and Vikrant saw a big roller coaster and he climbed on it with hesitation. Once he sat the roller coaster started moving and after 3 times it stopped again and then it started moving backwards 3 times. While Vikrant was shivering in fear the magic leaf appeared, and he grabbed it and then everything became dark. Chapter-7 When Vikrant woke up, he saw Contrio beside him. Vikrant asked where am I Contrio? In the hotel room buddy said Contrio. Vikrant asked where the magic leaf is. On the table said Contrio. I thought you almost died. No said Vikrant I just fainted. Ok now let’s go back to enjoy hotel, our teacher will be waiting and today is the last day of vacation. My father told me I can stay with you a few days said Contrio. Wow I would love that said Vikrant, so they packed their luggage’s and went to enjoy. When they reached their teacher hugged them and all of them went back to Castikapurt and dispersed to their houses. Contrio took Vikrant to his home to pay remaining tax to the King. After paying the remaining tax, the king sent a letter that the work will start from tomorrow. Vikrant’s father narrated to the villagers the whole story and the villagers were very happy.
