in a changed social scenario the responsibility has increased even more.
The teachers and staff are continually making efforts to
improve the standard of teaching and learning processes. New pedagogies
are being adopted to help the students better. More and more students
are involving themselves in different activities conducted in classes and as
a result there is a positive feeling all around which helps make the school
a happy place. Half-yearly exams have shown us the way forward and with
new vigour and energy.
We are determined to forge our way ahead. I am thankful to the
almighty for having even us this opportunity to serve the children, our
immensely motivating Respected Founders to have shown their trust in
our ability, Respected MD and Respected CEO-for their constant support

they make this
world a beautiful

It was wonderful to see the
blooming buds in the
garden of Indira Nagar
Campus. The students were
thrilled to be back to school.
Their eyes gleamed on
seeing the beautiful
decoration. The students
seemed to be enthusiastic to

Time For Some Activities
ACTIVITY BASED LEARNING
Learning is not the product of teaching.
Learning is the product of the activity
of learners.
Time For Some Activities
Students met
their friends
after a long time
and therefore
they took the
opportunity of
expressing their
love for each
other.
Time To Celebrate
Teachers are the most responsible and important
members of society because their professional
efforts affect the fate of the Earth. It is the
supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in
creative expression and knowledge.
Education should be imparted with a view to the type of
society that we wish to build. We are working for a
modern democracy built on the values of human dignity
and equality.
- Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan
The celebration of Teachers' Day took place with
great fun and frolic. The students expressed their
love and gratitude towards their teachers
through wonderful virtual programmes. They
expressed their regards through gratitude cards,
citations and skits.
New Parents' Evening
New Parents Evening was organised in order to welcome the new
students in Indira Nagar Campus with great warmth and affection. The
programme began with the school prayer and lighting of the lamp
ceremony. The gathering was addressed by our respected Principal
Ma’am, Mrs. Ruchi Bhuwan Joshi. The event comprised of World
Parliament, All Religion Prayer, World Unity Prayer, School Philosophy
and Glimpses of Independence Day.
Observance of National and International Days at the Campus and a
glimpse of various festivals that were celebrated in the month of August
i.e. Raksha Bandhan, Eid-ul-Zuha, Muharram and Janmashtami were also
the part of the programme. A beautiful rendition of Colours of Malhar was
presented by the students.
The new parents were made aware of the mission of CMS
education which is to make every child good and smart, a gift of
God to mankind, a pride of the human race and a potential light of
this world. And that CMS education aims to inculcate values,
attitudes, knowledge and skills that bring out human and
academic excellence.
The theme of ‘Unity in Diversity’ could be witnessed in the
programme. As it laid emphasis on various festivals of different
cultures that were celebrated with great zeal and zest at Indira
Nagar Branch.
The event was graced with the benign presence and blessings of
our respected Founder Manager, Dr. Jagdish Gandhi.
The parents of the new students also shared their wonderful
experiences at CMS, Indira Nagar.
Green Day Celebration
Celebration of colours is
a unique way to
introduce the children to
the colours and relate
them to their
surroundings.
One such colour is
'Green', the colour of
nature. Green is the
most respected colour.
'Green' symbolizes self-
respect and well being.
It also means learning ,
growth and harmony.
So with this idea in mind the
Green Day celebration took
place in the Pre Primary
section of CMS Indira Nagar
Campus on 14th September
2021, Tuesday. It helped the
students to realize the
importance of environment
around them, the cleanliness
that matters and the care for
all living things which brings
us close to nature.
Green is a safe
colour. If you
don't know what
colour to use
anywhere , use
green. It is well
said that we
should eat raw
green vegetables
for good health.
International Day of
Democracy
What is really
needed to make
democracy
function is not
knowledge of
facts, but right
education.
The students were made aware
of some important terms like
democracy, electoral process,
majority, government.
By electing the class monitor,
they were introduced to the
process of election.
The 2 nominated candidates put
forth their views on why the
students should vote for them.
And then the Monitor was
selected through the process of
voting.
Hindi Diwas
Hindi is the simplest source of
expression of our Nation.
The day was celebrated with great zeal
and zest. Students celebrated this day by
reciting a poem, presenting a dance
performance, sharing presentations on the
importance of Hindi and also by
conducting a quiz. It was a wonderful
experience for all the students as they got
an opportunity to share the information
with others leading to collaborative
learning.
Vishwakarma Pooja
When we pray, God hears more than we say,
answers more than we ask, gives more than we
imagine, in his own time and his own way.
Indira Nagar Branch was decorated with flowers and lights to celebrate this
day with great fervour. Our Respected Principal Ma'am, Mrs. Ruchi Bhuwan
Joshi along with the incharges, coordinators, IT department, office
department, helping staff and workers offered prayers. They prayed for a
better future, safe working conditions and, above all, success in their
respective fields. They also prayed for the smooth functioning of various
machines and sought the blessings of God.
International Day of Peace
Peace is not when everyone agrees. It is when we can respect our
disagreements and still play in the sandbox together.
The 2021 theme for the International Day of Peace is
“Recovering better for an equitable and sustainable world”. The
students shared their views on the significance of the day with
the help of poetry and speech delivery. They were also given an
opportunity to portray their creativity in the form of drawings.
The drawings made by the students reflected on their ideas to
bring about peace all over the world.
A special assembly was conducted where the students informed
their classmates about the significance of the day and how it
came into existence and why do we celebrate it. The students
also recited poems on Peace. They suggested various ways to
sustain peace through their diagrams and also drew LOGOS to
encourage people and make them aware of their responsibilities
towards their country.
A Key to Cyber Security
Technology is a useful servant but a dangerous master.
City Montessori School, Indira Nagar was humbled to host a Webinar on Cyber
Security under the able guidance of our Respected Principal Ma'am, Mrs. Ruchi
Bhuwan Joshi and our School Counsellor, Ms. Saliha Shoeb.
It was an honour to hear our Guest Speaker, Dr. Varun Kapoor -IPS (Additional
Director General of Police, Madhya Pradesh).
-A Certified trainer of United States Department of Justice (UNDOJ)
-Master Trainer of United Kingdom department for Funding International
Development (DFID).
Founder of the first *Woman Counseling Centre at Indore(1994).
Recognised for his meritorious services in the field of *Cyber Security worldwide.
The students of Classes IX and X of Indira Nagar Campus witnessed the
Webinar. We are living in a world where technology is a huge part of our
lives, but it can be a blessing and a curse. Some people think this
technology can make us more productive. But it is not helping us with
social skills. As the world is increasingly interconnected, everyone
shares the responsibility of securing cyberspace. And the best way to
accomplish it is to spread awareness among the tender generation.
Dr. Varun Kapoor made the students aware of various types of cyber
crimes and their consequences by citing real life examples and narrating
his own experiences at Cyber Security Work. He advised the students to
identify the situation and guided them on how to tackle it and raise their
voice against injustice. He also suggested some preventive measures that
could be followed by everyone to enhance Cyber Security.
The students attended the
webinar with rapt attention as
they were able to understand
the gravity of the matter. The
Webinar will surely help in
enhancing their skills like
Character Building,
Citizenship, Communication
etc.
It was indeed a
wonderful session
attended by the staff and
students of the Senior
Section of City
Montessori School, Indira
Nagar Campus
It is not what technology does to us, it is
what we do to technology. Get smart
with technology, choose wisely and use
it in a way that benefits both you and
those around you.

From The Editor's Desk
In ordinary life, we hardly realize that we receive a
great deal more than we give, and that it is only with
gratitude that life becomes rich. So I would like to
take this opportunity to extend my gratitude towards
Our Respected Principal Ma'am, Mrs. Ruchi Bhuwan
Joshi, for her continuous guidance and motivational
support.
Gratitude to our Respected Vice Principal Ma'am,
Head Teacher, Teacher Coordinators, IT Assistant
and the entire team of City Montessori School, Indira
Nagar. This newsletter is a portraiture of the
conscientious and scrupulous work and dedication of
the teachers as well as the students. Teamwork is the
secret that makes common people achieve uncommon
results.
We have learnt to thrive in our new normal with an
optimistic mindset and new pedagogical resources.
"Collaboration allows us to know more than we are
capable of knowing by ourselves."
And together we will strive to attain the goal set as
VISION 2025.
The harder you work for something, the greater you feel
when you achieve it.
The art of life lies in a constant readjustment to our surroundings.
