The Scent of Art
Glenn Bracke sees himself more as a creative, than an artist. His works often evoke enviromental degredation, and his bronze statues often contain a hidden message. One thing is for certain: in his perpetual search for creative innovations, Glenn has taken things to a whole new level. His fragrance named “The Scent of Art“ has enabled him to connect with the world using yet another amazing medium.
Glenn looks to his sources of inspiration, Salvador Dali and Andy Warhol, both of whom touched upon the creation of scents.
This idea of Glenn’s was achieved by him embracing the work of Bertrand Douchaufour.The two men met in Paris for a brainstorming meeting, resulting in them both agreeing to work together to take on this new creative challenge: “The fragrance of ART captured in a bottle.“
The two worked tirelessly for over a year on their project, making changes to perfect their creation. All this hard work paid off when finally “The Scent of Art“ fragrance by Glenn Bracke was made.
It is unique and powerful, overflowing with richness, elegance and deep - dark glowing notes.
The Scent of Art is without question, no ordinary fragrance. This however should not come as a surprise, as Glenn Bracke isno ordinary person.

He begun by making a study of characters enjoying a night at a museum. By capturing them moving through this art space and highlighting their surroundings using the colour yellow, he was able to achieve the effect now seen. Leading on from this first piece named “YELLO“ - as you would say hello - Glenn has made a uniquely special art statement.

Through his love and respect for old masters, Glenn has created his own art “Reformation“.
Based on his idea of canvas, collage, paint and more he carefully selected and reconstructed a number of well-known, old masters. Never doing anything in half measures, Glenn was inspired to start with the Mona Lisa. His interpretation of this subject is nothing less then amazing. Layer on layer of intricate detail, colour, movement and emotion make this one-off piece a real jewel in Glenn’s complete collection.
Again here he has used new and ground-breaking techniques to achieve greatness.
“Reformation” could be seen as breathing new life into old masters. However Glenn himself only intends to give them a different perspective. The strength of each composition, married with the subject chosen in each case, makes this col- lection powerful, dramatic and evocative.
It is because everyone says that something is “Not done“ that there is no option but to do it!
