Detects Broad Range of Explosives – Highly Sensitive and Selective
The Rapiscan HE50 detects low picogram levels of a broad range of common
commercial and homemade explosive materials, including nitrate-based,
plastic explosives, peroxides, precursors and taggant types. Capable of
detecting, displaying, and capturing all threat results—even when multiple
explosive materials are found during the same screening instance—the
HE50 also has a low false alarm rate. With the HE50, increased operational
inspection performance is possible and screening personnel are able to
focus on investigation of valid alarms, reliably identify a potential threat, and
document the threat analysis for evidentiary reporting.
Reduced Total Cost of Ownership
Designed to minimize operating costs, the HE50 eliminates the majority of
consumables and preventive maintenance requirements, typical of other
vendor models. No grids, membranes, drying agents or calibration traps
are required. It only uses a low cost dopant with an extended shelf life and,
optionally, sample traps for use with the swipe sampling method.
High Throughput
Features including the shortest start-up time, a fully automatic continuous
self-calibration feature, and continuous sampling mode of operation all make
the HE50 ideal for security situations where both high processing rates and
detection e ectiveness are needed.
Easy-to-Operate
Ready to use in less than 10 minutes, with an automated start-up process,
an intuitive operating interface and 3-button control, plus no standard daily
preparation, cleaning or maintenance steps, the HE50 nearly eliminates the
need for operators to deal with complex tasks and procedures. Alarms can
be configured with audible and/or visual detection indicators. With a large
screen LCD protected by impact-resistant glass, the HE50 can be used in

Exempt from US NRC Requirements
The HE50 uses a unique ionization source with US Nuclear Regulatory
Commission (NRC) Exempt Distribution status that has no end-user radiation
licensing requirements for use within the United States. International

The Rapiscan MobileCheck™ IRC is a mobile, easily deployable, integrated
personnel security solution for critical checkpoints where safety of security
personnel is vital. This remotely operated non-intrusive baggage and people
screening solution is housed in a standard 20 ft. container with the state of
the art systems to detect threats, explosives, nuclear material and weapons.
The Rapiscan 620XR with superior X-ray image quality is utilized for
baggage and small parcel screening. Secure 1000 Dual Pose is an advanced
backscatter X-ray whole body scanner for identification of weapons and
contrabands on and under the person’s clothing. Also included is a radiation
detector capable of identifying any nuclear material carried either on the
body or in the carry-on baggage.
The Integrated Re-locatable Checkpoint (IRC) system consists of a Personnel
Screening Container (PSC) where all the security inspection systems are
housed and screening of people and their belonging takes place and the
Remote Operator Station (ROS) that contains the operators, hardware and all
the equipment necessary to operate the PSC remotely.

The Rapiscan MobileCheck™ Secure DP is a re-locatable
containerized people screening solution. With a vibration and
shock mounted Secure 1000 DP, the most widely deployed image
based people screening solution, this MobileCheck unit is ready for
use at any checkpoint. The Secure 1000 DP provides the highest
quality images enabling superior detection of all concealed threat
and contraband items, both organic (i.e. liquid and solid explosives,
narcotics, ceramic weapons) and inorganic (e.g. metal weapons).
The Secure 1000’s patented technology is composed of an ultra low
dose x-ray source that images backscattered x-rays and provides the
images at a remote operators workstation. Using the MobileCheck
your security screeners will be able to detect concealed objects
without direct contact.

The Rapiscan Secure 1000 provides high quality imaging of liquids, metal and ceramic Applications

power. The container has a built in ruggedized air conditioning unit
to permit operation in evaluated temperature environments up to
50°C (122°F).
