In our interconnected and culturally globalized world, designers are forging new paths and practices, blending their local cultural backgrounds with forward-thinking problem-solving approaches. This transformative process is reshaping the role of designers in contemporary culture. It involves translating ideas, transcoding images, transplanting behaviors, and favoring exchange over imposition. In response to the evolving landscape of fragmented identities, designers require innovative modes of presentation (Teunissen, J., 2021). Jane Piirto and Sisu (2019) emphasized the essential role of imagination in creativity as a mental faculty that enables us to conceive concepts or representations of objects not immediately present or visible. This principle applies equally to the fashion industry, which possesses the remarkable ability to create new worlds and entice us to immerse ourselves in them. Teunissen's "New Directions Of The Fashion System" (2021) highlights the following themes: "New Imaginations" explores the use of new technologies to shape sustainable narratives and innovative products, "New Business Models" advocates for more equitable collaborations and environmentally and socially responsible enterprises, "The Product and the Maker in the Spotlight" integrates diverse cultural backgrounds into future problem-solving approaches, "Fashion Design for a Better World" emphasizes design's capacity to shape diverse sociocultural contributions, and "The Interdisciplinarity" promotes cross-disciplinary collaboration and research, merging technical science with fashion to address complex societal challenges.
These themes have given rise to a diverse range of values in fashion, encompassing social, political, nostalgic, and exclusivity-based elements, along with notions of modernity, innovation, and nationalism (Teunissen, J., 2021). This perpetual transition leads to captivating innovations in fashion, whether it's a revival of fashion trends, the creation of clothing with a strong sense of national identity, or the development of practical everyday wear. These shifts stem from the evolution from traditional approaches toward innovation, driven by changing needs, associations, influences, and emotional connections in the digitalized and globalized fashion landscape of the 21st century. This project represents an ongoing effort to understand originality and brand aesthetics, culminating in the development of brand DNA or identity. The reinvention driven by imagination, coupled with an awareness of evolving needs, fosters an emotional connection between brands and consumers. This connection leverages a brand's identity within the consumer's psyche. We've witnessed the shift from physical catwalks to digital platforms that enable people to tune in from the comfort of their homes. This merging of physical and digital realms is often described as "phygital," marking the convergence of these spaces within the context of the new digital nation. THIS IS THE IMAGINATION NATION.
A F I Q A H M D I D R I S [email protected] @effyqah.com +6013-7577660 By playing with the masculine aesthetic from DESIGNER inspiration, its a value of the design. Designer also feel that the design involves both the heart and the intellect.
The design ideas are inspired by a large circular machine that turns around that has wooden, plastic animals, and vehicles to ride also known as the merry-go-round. The high-end street wear collection delves into camp fashion concepts that stand in for an exaggerated form outfit, simultaneously iconic from the object attraction characteristics and it is intentionally to create attention. This collection targeted young guys between the ages of 18 and above who enjoy expressing themselves via clothing, are manly, audaciously bold, over the top, and are financially comfortable with artsy style. Lets-Go-Round is a power-evolving interest to stand out in the crowd which draws no boundaries. C I take pleasure in crafting objects that possess a blend of gracefulness and sentiment. In my view, a designer can establish a deep bond with their viewers by employing an artistic piece to communicate a specific idea. As a result, my designs lean towards the daring and exhilarating, aiming to captivate and inspire. AISYRIN.MY [email protected] 0142936973
The concept for the design drew its inspiration from the widely-celebrated Dragon Boat Festival, a prominent festivity in China and various other nations like Malaysia. The core theme of the collection focuses on crafting distinctive upper garment designs, alongside generously layered skirts and visually striking bodysuits. A notable highlight of this collection lies in the unrestrained incorporation of decorative elements and patterns within the clothing. The fabric chosen for the design boasts a luminous quality, ideal for creating substantial and weighty apparel. This collection is intended to cater to a target audience of adult celebrities aged 22 to 38, who possess a keen admiration for unconventional and unique styles.
