ZIARAH CAKNA KASIH & TALAM RAMADHAN 1442H - 2021M
Ziarah Cakna Kasih Ramadan this year has succeeded in caring for a total of
121 families of SMKFSS students who have been identified as asnaf and
orphans. Also, the provision of Talam Ramadhan for orphans for breaking fast
was provided by the sons and daughters of PVMA SMKFSS led by the
SMKFSS Volunteer Cluster - PVMA Teachers Cikgu Siti Farahliza Binti
Mohamed Isa and Cikgu Siti Norain Binti Idris.

The Journalist Cluster

The ‘Journalist’ cluster is a cluster created for teachers who are talented in
writing and have already published several books. Therefore, this cluster is
expected to provide space for teachers who are talented in writing.
This ‘Journalist’ cluster was literally triggered through ‘face to face’ by Cikgu
Sundari with the Principal on 25 June 2020. Cikgu Sundari is the Head of the
‘Journalist’ Cluster in writing teacher works. This work is themed on the
experiences and activities during the Movement Control Order (MCO) which
was implemented from March 2020 to mid -June 2020. During this period,
various things and stories can be expressed, shared and created. What is
certain is that every inch of the storytelling in this book has become a 2020
memory that will be the most beautiful memory and is unlikely to be forgotten.
When this idea arose, a committee was formed for this noble purpose. A
meeting with the Principal was also held on 1 July 2020 with the committee
members of the ‘Journalist’ Cluster. Then the announcement for teachers is
submitted with a brochure via the school's official telegram and also the school
teacher's whatsapp for teachers who want to participate in the writing of this
paper.

The proposal to publish a book themed on experiences and activities
throughout the MCO was well received by the teachers. A total of 25 teachers
were able to produce their work in a given period.
After the papers were submitted by the teachers, the Head of the Journalist
Cluster together with the Principal agreed to hold a meeting with the Negeri
Sembilan State Library Corporation Officer to hold a writing workshop for
teachers on 1 September 2020. As a result of this meeting, PPPN agreed to
hold a workshop to realize the goals of the ‘Journalist’ cluster.

A writing workshop with Puan Zalila binti Isa, Executive Editor of the National
Translation Institute of Malaysia on 9 September 2020. Among the objectives
of the workshop is to guide and refine the work of teachers before the works of
teachers are booked and published. As a result of the findings from this
workshop, teachers can make improvements and refinements on the work that

has been produced by considering the content of the workshop that has been
conducted successfully.

Then, the editing process begins and the search for a suitable title for the
title of the book is also taken into account with the views and suggestions of
the teachers who have produced the work. Once agreed by all cluster
committee members, the layout and aspects of printing were discussed with
the publishing house.

Finally, works produced by 25 teachers were printed and published for all
to see. The sharing of the story collection of SMK (F) Seri Sendayan educators
was given the title ”Pelangi Di Sebalik Corona’.

SMK (Felda) Seri Sendayan, YBhg. Cikgu Shafie Bin Haji Mohd Noor presented
a copy of the book 'Pelangi Di Sebalik Corona' to YAB Dato 'Seri Haji
Aminuddin Bin Harun, Menteri Besar of Negeri Sembilan DK and YBhg. Puan
Hajah Jamilah @ Chumila Binti Haji Katis, Director of Negeri Sembilan Public
Library Corporation.

Acknowledgement

The motto “Sederap Menggapai Kegemilangan” gives a deep meaning for all
members of SMK Felda Seri Sendayan. With leadership that emphasizes
effective human resource management has led the school in a more excellent
direction. The conducive and harmonious atmosphere makes all citizens work
harder to produce students who excel academically, personally, and also in the
field of co-curriculum in accordance with the national education philosophy that
has been supported for so long.

Starting with a face-to-face program or known as Face to face with Tuan
Pengetua Cikgu Shafie bin Mohd Noor, various clusters emerged that not only
involved teachers but also received help and support from AKP and private
employees who were no less great. These clusters then continue to take steps
in carrying out their respective responsibilities to help the children of SMK
Felda Seri Sendayan and the surrounding community. The results of this
cluster not only have an impact on students and the community, but also lead
to a change in harmonious attitudes and a positive culture of work to school
people in general.

The activities of this cluster will not only stop here, but further planning has
been considered for other activities that are seen to bring reform and progress
in the school under the leadership of the Principal and the administration.

Finally, hopefully this effort will continue to give a positive impact both to
teachers, students and to the entire school community with the belief that good
cooperation will be able to lead to improved school achievement and
educational institutions in general.
