MODEL EA631 ELECTRONIC PULSE TRANSMITTER




DESCRIPTION
The EA631 Electronic Pulse Transmitter is a wafer-style transmitter that mounts directly below the mechanical register of any
McCrometer propeller flow meter. The transmitter produces an output pulse frequency that is linear with flow rate and can be
connected to flow computers, digital counters, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), and computerized data acquisition systems.
The EA631 installation does not require removal of the flow meter and can be done under flowing conditions.

DESCRIPTION

The Mc SpaceSaver System combines our
breakthrough flow straightening technology
with a self-cleaning Mc Propeller meter
design that virtually eliminates the upstream/
downstream straight pipe runs. This advanced
design delivers highly accurate liquid flow
measurement in a rugged space-saving design
that reduces installation costs, offers long-life
and requires minimal maintenance.












INSTALLATION

For M0300F Installation: Inserted into pipeline through rectangular hole and locked in place by a

rectangular hole used to install the flow straightener.
For M0300 Installation: Inserted into pipeline through open end of pipeline and locked in place by a

METER GROUNDING RECOMMENDATIONS


Grounding the meter body for safety according to national (NEC) or local electrical
codes is recommended on ALL meter installations.

For best performance, grounding the fluid column is recommended when the meter
is installed in an electrically noisy environment, such as with VFD pumps or nearby
electrical systems with insufficient grounding.
Conductive or uncoated pipe - The uncoated pipe flange can be used to establish
a connection to earth ground.
Plastic or internally coated pipe - Grounding rings can be installed to establish a
connection to earth ground

configurations using grounding rods and grounding rings.
