We’ve been customers of Zero’s for over 10 years
now. We’ve had many sales people trying to take
our business from them, but nothing would make
us switch supplier, as we trust them implicitly with
our print fleet. The turnaround times on service
calls are always quick, nothing is too much trouble
for them. They provide excellent service all round.
Sarah Bascombe Vets MediCover
Peter, a huge thank you to you and your team
for your fantastic service and support in setting
up our new printer in record time. After the
problem with the previous printer, and being told
we would have to wait a few days before we
would receive the replacement part, you were
able to step in and provide a new printer and
installation within the same day! Due to the
nature of our business, it is not possible for us to
be without printing facilities for more than 1 day.
We have always found your staff to be very
helpful and prompt, and now that you have your
own engineer on hand, I know that should we
have any similar situations in the future, that you
will be able to assist immediately. Thank you
once again!

Zero provide the personal touch, cost-effective,
but most importantly you provided a quality of
print that could not be beaten by any of the rival
companies. Even Konica head office said they
could not believe that this quality of print had
come from a machine at this price.
Nigel Dickin, Executive Director, Butters
John Bee
Butters John Bee chose to deal with Zero
Enterprises and Toshiba because it provided the
service, speed, and reliability of an established
local firm coupled with the strength and quality
of a multi-national print and copy provider,
making for an unbeatable combination.
David Algeo, IT Manager, Health Shield Friendly Society
Health Shield Friendly Society has a mixed fleet of printers, faxes, and photocopiers. Part
of my remit was to reduce costs and increase productivity through the use of
technology, reducing the number of disparate systems and consolidating functions into
multi-functional devices.
Our organization uses Microsoft Dynamics products for our ERP and CRM functions. We
have approximately 600 letters which are sent to our membership as required. We were
buying in a pre-printed letter headed paper, then printing our letter onto this. We
decided to move to print our letterheads on demand, realizing a saving on each
printed sheet. We would need the letterhead graphic on the front page, not on any
subsequent pages. Rather than amend 600 letter we decided that we wanted the
printer to control this function.
We spoke with many providers, who liaised with manufacturers to create a solution. We
found Peter Thompson at Zero took ownership of the request, bringing specialists into our
organization to fulfill the requirements. Peter understood our requirements from the initial
meeting and relayed exact requirements through to Toshiba. He put a lot of time and
effort into the project and stood out above all other potential suppliers.
Our relationship with Peter and Zero is a very healthy one, with us receiving exceptional
service and attention. I believe that any manufacturer would benefit from having Zero
as a partner/supplier where their service and industry knowledge can give Toshiba a
competitive advantage.
Paul Carr, Owner, Paul Carr Estate

We have undertaken dealings with “The Zero
Group” for a period of time stretching some 15
years. Over this time we have received nothing
but excellent advice and service from Peter and
his team.
A full explanation of the various options available
to us, including choice of machines, finance
options, and detailed financial calculations have
always been provided right from the outset of the
proposition. No question has appeared to be too
small or insignificant for an easily understood
explanation.
Our experience of delivery and installation has
always been first class and always on schedule.
Linking computers with printers and scanning
facilities, which is often tricky and testing, has
been cleverly overcome on every occasion.
As for after sales service is concerned, which after
all is often the true test of real service, “The Zero
Group” has always been impeccable. Their
standards are second to no one we have
encountered in this particular field. All of the
people we have encountered have always been
friendly and efficient.
Overall, we would wholeheartedly and without
reservation recommend “The Zero Group” to any
new potential customer.
Pam Prendergast, Business
Manager
I first met with Peter from Zero in July 2016 when I
was looking at photocopying/printing service
options for our school. We had used the same
company for years and were on a rolling lease,
with ever increasing costs.
I had met with several other companies as part of
the best value exercise always carried out when
looking for new suppliers. I was instantly
impressed with Peter’s professional and honest
approach as he explained how Zero would
provide the services we required within our
budget.
At no time did I feel pressurised to use Zero, and
was impressed with Peter’s enthusiasm,
professionalism and understanding of the
pressure of budget constraints. He explained
everything thoroughly and I didn’t feel that I was
being railroaded into a contract that was
unsuitable or I couldn’t afford.
I signed a 5 year lease beginning in September
2016, with considerable savings compared to the
previous supplier. As part of the service all staff
received training on the machines when they
were installed. The quality of the copies and
printing is excellent, with efficient machines that
can handle the bulk copying that schools create!
However the service we have received from Zero
has been fantastic and is the key reason I would
recommend them.
If we have ever had cause to call them out to a
machine fault the response has been immediate.
From the initial phone call reporting the fault, to
the engineer attending site, the staff are friendly,
polite, prompt and thorough.
The following year, whilst working with another
school within our Trust, I was happy to
recommend Zero and they too signed a
contract. The feedback I have since received
from them is just as positive.
Therefore, I would not hesitate in recommending
Zero for their professional and honest approach in
all areas of their service.
Nina Bacciochi, Office Manager,

We were introduced to Zero Enterprises in June
2016 as our contract was due to terminate with
the then supplier of our copiers.
Zero Enterprises were very competitive and
offered advice as to the best copiers for our
needs.
Based upon this, we decided to give them our
order and were very pleased with the efficient
manner they dealt with supplying and installing
our new copiers.
It is now coming up to 12 months since the
installation of our copiers and we have only had
one minor problem which was dealt with very
promptly. All members of Zero's staff are always
very pleasant and helpful.
We would not hesitate to recommend their
services.

We run a fairly busy digital marketing agency
looking after businesses throughout the north of England.
We did have 2 colour laser printers that
were self-maintained and we purchased our own
ink on a monthly basis from PC world at a cost of around
250 per month. The ink would run out
regularly and we would be unable to print on occasion.
We were passed zero's number by another company who
has used zero for 6 years, they highly recommended
them. Pete from zero came out to
see me and after looking at what we do and the
type of material we print literally halved my
monthly ink spend and provided us with an

Flexible Managed Print Services Creating the Best
Customer Experience
Managing your own print infrastructure
and processes is a costly and
time-consuming drain on resources.
Document production is typically one of
the biggest expenses for an organisation,

organisations have an opportunity to save

A REAL VALUE PRINT SOLUTION
Vs lowest price solution
Document production is typically one of the biggext expenses for any organisation
costing up to 3% of revenue, yet studies show that 90% of companies have little or
no understanding of what they are spending on printing. Print infrastructures are often
left unmanaged and fragmented, which leads to significant cost increases, productivity, loss
and inefficiencies. One study from the USA showed that, on average, companies deploy one
output device for every 2.2 workers. Typically offices only use an output device for around 15
minutes every day.
The desk solution emphasises high value service over the more traditional technology
based on the lowest cost per unit.

Communication ends
Once data transmission is complete, the MFP and
e-BRIDGE CloudConnect terminate the

communication. MFPs do not allow access from
outside once communication is complete. This
allows for superior security.
SSL
To prevent server spoofing and to make sure data
is transmitted to the correct server, e-BRIDGE
CloudConnect features server authentication
functionality that confirms whether the server to
be accessed (e-BRIDGE CloudConnect) is the
actual server that was specified. All transmitted
and received data is encrypted to preserve its
confidentiality and safety, and to protect against
stealing, leaking, and tampering.
HTTPS: HTTPS stands for "hypertext transfer protocol secure." It is a secured version of the HTTP protocol used
for viewing websites.
SSL: SSL stands for "secure sockets layer." SSL establishes communication only after verifying that a server is
valid and has a server authentication certification installed. SSL also encrypts data before sending it.

INTRODUCTION: THE
CLOUD
The way we work is changing
Fewer employees now spend the bulk of their
working hours sitting behind an assigned desk on
company premises, using a company PC.
Instead, they’re out making customer visits,
attending conferences, visiting regional compa-
ny outposts or simply working from home.
Business is now mobile.
When workers are out of the office, they’re
exercising more choice in the applications and
devices that they use for business. They’re using
smartphones, tablet computers and laptops for
work – whether provided by employers, or their
own devices – and accessing Internet-based
applications and information that lives ‘in the
cloud’. They rely on these technologies for
personal use, so why shouldn’t they be equally
useful in their working lives too?
Problems arise, however, when it comes to
accessing some of the vital documents that they
need to get work done. While smartphones and
tablets are constantly evolving, printing options
are either non-existent or extremely limited.
Cloud printing tackles this challenge by provid-
ing employees with on-demand printing using a
networked device, regardless of the user’s
location. It can also enable them to scan and
capture documents on ‘cloud-ready’ printers
and multi function products (MFPs) and upload
them to the cloud, where they can be
accessed, edited or printed by authorised
colleagues or simply stored for future use.
It’s the combination of proven cloud technolo-
gies and the latest printing systems. Read on to
find out more about what cloud printing could
allow your business to achieve.
THE CLOUD:

These days, it seems that What is the cloud, anyway?

During a particularly busy period, for example, a
company might need extra customer-service
agents to use its cloud-based customer relation-
ship management (CRM) system. Using what is
termed ‘software-as-a-service’ (SaaS, for exam-
ple Microsoft® Office 365), extra users can simply
be added to their CRM system, which in turn will
be reflected in their monthly bill.
Or it may need more server power to prop up its
online commerce site. Or it might need more
storage space to keep documents relating to a
specific project or promotion. Both of these
services can be provided by an infrastruc-
ture-as-a-service (IaaS) provider.
Somewhere in the middle lies platform- as-a-ser-
vice (PaaS) – a stack of software and hardware
to underpin an entirely new application that
software developers can build and run entirely in
the cloud.
The variety of computing services that now exist
in the cloud is already vast and is growing every
day.
