“If You are planning for a
year, sow rice; if you are
planning for a decade, plant
trees; if you are planning for
a lifetime, educate people”

Thanks to the Almighty! For His immeasurable grace and infinite love that has always
lead this Institution from the time of its inception. With “Virtue and labour” as our
motto, we have been scaling great heights in shaping the young minds in honesty,
integrity, uprightness, generosity, loyalty and love for the earth. God’s power working
in us is able to do so much more than we can ask for or ever think. Behind us
stretches that we travelled, the road ahead is as yet unknown. In response to the
critical needs of our contemporary world, we have the privilege and the responsibility
of choosing how we will move forward to make a difference.
St. Angel’s School focuses on educational programs that equip the students with
qualities of head and heart that intellectually elevate them, to go beyond their
comfort zone in search of truth, beauty and love, seeking a deeper meaning to life and
its very existence.
Aristotle once said that, “ Educating the mind without educating the heart is no
education at all.” Even as we impact education to match the advancement in
technology and globalization, we march our children ahead with ethos of moral values
and principles. We endeavor constantly to instill these qualities in our children. We
pride ourselves to help them grow and develop into sensitive and responsible citizens
of the future. .
With the strain socio-economic situation everyone around is effected and facing their
part of stress. Imagining the normal soon seems a dream. Even in these desperate
times the involvement for development of child-teacher relation and evolvement in the
new methodology is an unprecedented example which displays the dedication and
attributes of a teacher. We fortunately have dedicated teachers, caring and
cooperative parents, which blend harmoniously to create child centered school.
We gratefully acknowledge your trust and confidence deposed in St Angel’s School by
giving us an opportunity to serve you and your children in a better way.

Mr. Ashutosh Bhardwaj 3
Founder Chairman

"The great aim of education
is not only knowledge but

also action"

– Albert Einstein

“You can teach a student a lesson for a day; but if you can teach him
to learn by creating curiosity, he will continue the learning process as
long as he lives.”

ST ANGEL’S SCHOOL’s vision is to give the students the all-round
capability including creativity ,observation and knowledge
empowerment leading to the generation of excellent ,performing
citizens with sterling character.
Today we are living in a fast changing complex society, which presents
before us challenges as well as opportunities. In this context it all
depends on every individual how one responds to the situation with
the right mindset. I remember the words of Benjamin Disraeli,
“Nurture your mind with great thoughts, for you will never go any
higher than you think.”

Indeed, we need better education to have better thoughts, to be better
human, to build a better society. I firmly believe that every human
being endowed with various talents and skills is a precious gift of God.
St Angel’s provides ample opportunities along with a value based
wholesome quality education to nurture the inner potentials of every
child.

“ The basic purpose of life and the basic purpose of education is to 4
enhance one’s boundaries of perception. I don’t want the children to
just survive after ten years of schooling. They must blossom and
flower wherever they go.

COVID-19 Pandemic has surely altered lives and disrupted normal life
across the world. We understand the challenges faced by everyone to
cater to the academic needs during closure of school and adapting to
virtual learning.
A big hand for all the parents for their continued support. We
shouldn't let the pandemic pin us down. We must remain positive and
keep our hopes alive as I believe that " Nothing is predestined. The
obstacles of our past can become the gateways that lead to new
beginnings."
At St. Angel’s, our approach to learning is child centric, encouraging
active learning and inculcating a scientific temper and a spirit of free
enquiry. In our curriculum the student is the primary focus and each
child is involved in the learning process. We are constantly adopting
such teaching methodology that it turns learning into combination of
classroom study, research and scientific discovery.
While academic excellence is our major thrust, the school is also
devoted to groom them to face the challenges of tomorrow, and
encourage them to be socially relevant. We constantly endeavor to
always live up to this ideology and inculcate this into everything we
do, with the aim that we will be able to ensure that the children grow
to their full potential.
I am grateful for my teachers. To completely rework what teaching
looks like, to work tirelessly to connect to students and families and
to do it with passion, flexibility and grace shows me how deeply
invested they are in teaching and nurturing the students. .
The parents are the most strengthening power in moulding the future
of children. Their consistent support empowers us to do more and
more. I pay my gratitude to them for their faith in us.
I am confident enough that the Angelites will make themselves
stronger day by day, adding a new leaf to the grandeur of the school.
Mrs. Seema Bhardwaj
Founder Principal

"Education is the passport to
the future, for tomorrow

belongs to those who prepare
for it today".
- Malcolm X

We live today in a world that is so different from the one we grew up in,
the one we were educated in. Though the dynamics have changed, but the
opportunities have expanded too. Those who are open to challenges, are
ready to acquire 21st century skills, have the right attitude, and innovative
mind will surely and successfully adapt to this paradigm shift in education
and unprecedented transition in society, that has happened all across the
globe in the shortest span of one year. It is heartening to see the teachers
and parents collaborating well as a formidable team in this changing
scenario to make the learning more enriching and experiential for our
children. As always, it is our constant endeavour to progress together and
continue with the rich culture of true learning at St.Angel’s.

I wish my students to keep learning and exploring new things which will
make them more focussed, determined and vibrant. Ambience is one such
wonderful platform where creativity, talent and expression of young
Angelites has been showcased, adding a new leaf to the glory of the
school.

I extend my warm wishes to the staff, and students of St. Angel’s to
continue this journey on the road to excellence.

Good luck!

"The great aim of education
is not only knowledge but

also action"

– Albert Einstein

The Responsibility for change…. lies within
us. It takes a big heart to shape little minds. Young children are the
future of our country so they need to be healthy and happy; they need
to be mentally strong, patient and equipped adequately to face
tomorrow. The ultimate goal of education is not just imparting
knowledge but to create future generation who not only imbibe
knowledge but also have a combination of characters, determination
and value. It is well said that,

“Our thoughts lead to
Attitudes, attitudes to words,

Words lead to action and
Action leads to habit,

Habit forms our character and
Character determines our destiny”

Therefore, let us gear up and train up the future generation to develop 7
a strong character. Learning can be an accidental process and finds its
way in most astonishing circumstances. In a school space not only
students but also the teachers, the educational rock-stars learn. And
this learning is the secret portion for their vitality. My latent learning
also comes from my inestimable students.
Through learning we re-perceive the world and we extend our capacity
to create. So, dear students keep inspiring and teaching us as you are
our spring of our youthfulness, the fodder of your question is food for
our thoughts and the discharge of your energies is the recharge for our
batteries.
Mrs. Neelum Singh
(Vice Principal)

“When you educate one person
you can change a life, when you
educate many you can change the
world”- Shai Reshef

For years, the term constructivism appeared only in journals read
primarily by philosophers, epistemologists, and psychologists.
Nowadays, constructivism regularly appears in the teachers'
manuals, textbook series, education curriculum frameworks,
education reform literature, and education journals.
Constructivism now has a face and a name in education. We at St.
Angel’s are a live example of it, as we follow a theory of learning that
describes the central role that learners' ever-transforming mental
schemes play in their cognitive growth. As educators, we develop
classroom practices and the curriculum to enhance the likelihood of
our student learning.
Shifting our priorities from ensuring that all students learn the same
concepts to ensuring that we carefully analyze students'
understandings to customize our teaching approaches is an essential
step in our educational process. We were upgrading ourselves for our
learners and will continue doing the same.
It is my message to you all that the people of fine character live by
their values. They are honest and are committed to truthfulness in
thought, word and deed. True character thus encompasses the
capacity for self discipline.
Be always ready to give preference to others. What you are is God's
gift to you. What you become is your gift to God. Have something to
live for to bring out the best in you.

With warm wishes and God's blessings!

Head Mistress

“Children are not things to
be moulded but are people

to be unfolded.”

“Discovery” the word is often related to Inventions and creations but this word has
added many newer denotations and dimensions to it in the last couple of months.
With ambivalence and indeterminacy hovering strongly over us, the past months
have led to several discoveries which until now rested in oblivion. To conquer
heights, one must be in love with oblivion because it is there that lies the discovery
of self.
How fascinating one's own company These times have given us space for
introspection and to delve deeper into self. Most have discovered a newer we, the
hidden talents have been relit and the long-cherished desires have been met. The
last few months have taught us self-love and most importantly, to extend that love
to every soul we meet. Also, it has taught us to be more compassionate towards
nature and the sinewy power of healing.
Each one of us discovered a new us in ourselves! The hidden singer, painter, baker,
story writer, and also how easy it can be to be self-dependent. We have discovered
our inner strengths and potentials. The tasks that seemed Herculean until now, are
done with a wink of an eye. Family time has never been so appreciated, the candid
chats, chitters and cheers over the dining table are second to none: they have added
strength to familial bonds and have rekindled mutual love, respect and warmth. The
sole aim of St. Angel’s has been to never leave a gap in the learning of our learners.
The virtual journey so far has added many firsts to the already illustrious cap of
the school. With utmost humility and grace, we bow to all the congratulatory
messages bestowed on us. Goes without saying. It is the faith and trust in one
another that led to seamless shifts of gears. The love and conviction of our parent
fraternity has always been the driving force. We thank them for keeping their faith
in us and also standing by us through this entire journey.
Every day is a blessing, a new beginning, enveloped with hope, faith and progress.
Together let us grow
Wish you all love and best wishes...

“Success comes to those who work
hard and stays with those, who
don’t rest on the laurels of the
past."

St .Angel's believes in unstoppable learning provided through virtual world
even during this pandemic.

In present scenario teacher led classrooms tend to be exception. Our staff
fruitfully employ two diverse strategies that are of Love and Logic to
foster a positive learning environment for all our students. Love and Logic
may seem like two contrasting forces. While love helps nurture trusting
relationships, where students feel respected, appreciated and loved by the
teachers, logic helps develop in students personal responsibility, self
control, good decision making skills self confidence, and character building
with high moral values.

The child’s learning involves and revolves around an effective partnership
between home & school. We know the stronger the partnership is the more
the child will benefit.

Through technology based teaching, we strive to teach tomorrow's skills
today.
Our endeavour is to impart exact school learning in safe and secured
atmosphere of the home, to follow protocol of social distancing.
School prayer, uniform, decent appearance, discipline, etiquettes,
regularity, punctuality , examinations,parent teacher meeting,functions
and many co- curricular activities, all areas are of our constant focus in
on line classrooms too .
The school is leaving no stone unturned to provide qualitative e-Learning
, I humbly request to the parents too, for your cooperation by allocating
designated place for your wards away from distraction, while classes are
going on.

Thank You
Mrs. Geeta Bisht

“Education is a shared
commitment between

dedicated Teachers,
Motivated Students and
enthusiastic parents with

high expectations"

Today, the role of a school is not only to pursue academic excellence but also
to motivate and empower the students to be lifelong learners, critical thinkers,
and productive members of an ever-changing global society. Converting every
individual into a self-reliant and independent citizen. Our school provides an
amalgam of scholastic and co-scholastic activities.

The world today is changing at such an accelerated rate and we as educators
need to pause and reflect on this entire system of Education. Providing good
quality modern education including a strong component of cultural values,
environmental awareness and physical education to every student is the motto
of St. Angel’s Sr. Secondary School. Committed and supportive management,
dedicated teachers, caring and cooperative parents blend harmoniously to
create this school as a child-centric school.

Always remember,

“I am only one, But still I am one

I cannot do everything, But still I can do something;

And because I cannot do everything, I will not refuse to do something that I
can do.”

“The measure of
intelligence is the
ability to change.”

Dear Parent,

I wish and pray for your wellbeing during this unprecedented global
predicament and express my solidarity with you and your family. This
turbulent time has prompted all of us to gain a heightened self-awareness,
patience, empathy and compassion for each other and firm faith in
Almighty. My earnest effort is not only to pursuit academic excellence but
to empower all my students to be lifelong learners and critical thinkers of
this ever changing global society. We strive hard to provide an atmosphere
for multifaceted development of a child and channelize their full potential
through a variety of hybrid and remote learning styles in these anxious
times. I acknowledge my team to reimagine teaching learning process,
while supporting the mental health and wellbeing of the students. All
Angelites who shared the joy of participation in co-curricular activities
along with their commitment to academics deserve appreciation . I pay my
gratitude to all the parents too for rendering their constant support and
having faith in us. This is the moment we are called to be our best selves in
tune with the vision and mission of St. Angel’s . Coming together for
mutual morale boosting conversations and lending a helping hand is the
best way to counter the pandemic and steer the wheel of excellence to
bring out the best.

Stay home; Stay safe!

“ Education is not the
preparation of life,

Education is life itself.”

Swami Vivekananda said “if you have assimilated five ideas and made
them your life and character you have more education than a person who
has got by heart a whole library “
Building of a strong character supplemented by moral and ethical values is
the main idea of education. St. Angel’s School believe in academic
excellence, our school has its own ethos. Our children will influenced by
what we stand for.
Students are given opportunities to handle responsibilities also to acquire
new skills and make decisions for themselves. Discipline must be based on
example and self control.
We should desire that students develop a sense of moral values, a sense of
service for less fortunate, a respect for nature and become a good citizen
of India.
We motivate our students to do ………….
“Improve capability Increase capacity ….. That’s progress”
There is no substitute for hard work. Climbing the stairs of success and
reminiscing the past, I can never forget the untiring efforts of the school
management for upliftment of the school with total commitment. The
co-operation from the well-trained staff proved always beneficial in every
sphere, balancing hardships and facing challenges and giving their best to
create a ray of hope.
So thereby to prove the school a multifaceted one, we would be competing
and conquering all hurdles of life.
Best of luck !

Yoga And

The Pandemic

Yoga is not only important but essential in
today’s uncertain world. There is no question
that with the coronavirus pandemic people are
feeling more stressed, nerves are more frayed,
and there is a general malaise affecting many
of us from time-to-time. One way to combat the stress and malaise is via
Yoga which has been found not only to improve fitness, but to also improve
attitudes and lead to savings in health care costs.

Yoga has many different meanings, such as “to yoke,” unite, and join.
Regardless of these various meanings, most of us think of yoga as a physical
practice to improve flexibility and physical fitness. However, yoga also has
several additional and important benefits.

In addition to improving your physical fitness, practicing yoga has been
found to boost immunity, reduce the risk of heart disease, and help conquer
stress eating. Furthermore, several studies show that a frequent yoga
practice yoga allows you to experience greater joy, energy, and quality of
life. The overall result is an enhanced sense of positive well-being. With
these benefits, you are better able to deal with stressful situations and
maintain a healthier outlook on life.

In addition to the physical and emotional
benefits described above, there is also an
economic benefit to practicing yoga.  A
Harvard study conducted in 2015 found
that people who practice yoga along with
meditation required 43% fewer medical
services resulting in savings for each
person each year. Improved health and a
savings in medical costs seem like a
double win we can all use during this
pandemic.
22

“… a frequent yoga practice can lead to a more fruitful lifestyle,
especially during times of increased stress.”

Yoga can achieve these benefits because it is more than just a workout:
it is a mind and body practice. Yes, some yoga practices can leave you
dripping in sweat, while others not so much. However, they all share the
common theme of having you focus on releasing, letting go of external
noise, and focusing on your physical self so you can delve deeper into
the additional benefits mentioned above.

The practice of yoga may be summarized into four components:
postures, breathing, meditation, and relaxation. The physical strength
portion of yoga focuses primarily on the postures and breathing
components. The mental and emotional portions of yoga utilize all four
components, and this is where the ability to focus and let go gets honed.
Here is where the hidden and important benefits of a frequent yoga
practice lead to a more fruitful lifestyle, especially during times of
increased stress.
Yoga is a fantastic complement to
any exercise routine you may
already have in place as well as
being, on its own, a complete
physical and mental lifestyle
enhancement practice.

During this pandemic, our lives have Mr. Viggey Mishra
been disrupted as we are
encouraged to social distance and 23
modify much of our active
behaviour. Humans are social beings
and we are designed to move our
bodies and interact with each other.
For our own well-being we need to
exercise both our bodies and our
minds, which also includes our
emotions. A frequent yoga practice
can play a critical role in helping us
overcome the increased stress and
burdens placed upon us at this time.

A Stitch In

Time Saves Nine

We all would have heard about the famous
proverb ‘A Stitch in Time Saves Nine'. This is a
very sensible saying that we need to follow in our
day-to-day life. This proverb notifies the
significance of Time Keeping, Smart Work, Hard
Work and Sincerity in our Life. One cannot think
about achieving anything without these qualities. If we miss to be well organised
in a task, the task will not be completed as expected.
Most of the time, we tend to neglect small things pushing them to the back of
our minds, this neglect later results in bigger losses. If there is a crack in the
ceiling it is prudent to have it repaired immediately before it turns into
something bigger and leads to the entire ceiling coming, crashing down one fine
day.
It makes sense for students to study a little every day, so that on the day of the
examinations they are free from worry. Despite understanding this proverb time
and again we face situations in our life where we realise that a little attention in
the beginning would have meant the saving of a lot of time in the end. Almost all
of us, at some point in our lives, have misplaced our keys. If we had kept them at
the right place, we would have spared ourselves the time we took looking for
them later. If we work hard and execute our actions in a smart way, we can
complete any task within the anticipated time. Instead of performing a task

without proper planning, an organized plan of 24
any task would avoid repeating the same
process. People who are disciplined complete
their work timely. They pay attention to even
the smallest problems in their life and try to
solve them before they turn big. Therefore,
they are more successful than others.
Happiness Always !!

These are basic Borromean Rings, so
called because they are on the coat of

two fall apart, yet they are all linked.

Now, instead of the rings in

We Are Together

“Talent wins games, but teamwork and
intelligence win championships."

When everyone works in teams,
they achieve all the goals on which
the organization functions. It makes things easier for every
person. Therefore, working in teams help each person in
any institution. Each person in the team is dependent on
the other members of the group. You'll feel that
your work is valued when you contribute to something that
produces results. If you offer an idea that helps improve
productivity, confidence and trust is built within the team.
Each team member has something special to offer. Good
teamwork means a synergistic way of working with each
person committed and working towards a shared
goal. It maximises the individual strengths of team
members to bring out their best.
Here in St. Angel’s, we work as a team for the overall
development of our school, our students and for ourselves.
We welcome everyone’s decision and respect their thoughts.
As a result we call ourselves as St.Angel’s Parivaar.

The Vedas say 'Guru' is a di-syllabic word where
'gu' stands for darkness and 'ru' for the dispeller
of darkness.
To re-enforce the existing moral and ethical duty
in teachers an Induction programme was
organized by St. Angel's on 16th March 2019 for
its entire teaching staff.

Parent
Orientation Program

Children are the priority,
change is the reality and
collaboration is the strategy. A
student’s academic and
all-round development is not
just up to the school. The
parents need to be involved at
every step so as to keep track of
the progress their ward is
making over the academic year.
This parent orientation program
was held to bring the parents
up to speed about their child’s
progress, give them an idea of
the various teaching
methodologies being employed
at the school. They were
apprised with the atmosphere
that the child will be
experienced with us. By doing
so, the parents would be able to
implement the learning process
at home as well, ensuring the
student doesn’t lose continuity
in learning.
