Solo Singing
Competition
( Middle Department )

“Music gives a soul to the universe,
wings to the mind, flight to the
imagination and life to everything”. An
Inter house online ‘Solo Singing
Competition’ was held where students
sang classical and semi classical
melodious songs. It proved to be a stress
buster during this difficult time.The
audience enjoyed the competition to the
fullest.

Stroke Activity

Teacher recapitulate all the
previous strokes done in Mont-1
class by using sand plate. She
asked all the children to make
standing ,sleeping, slanting,
curve stroke in sand/flour by
using their finger tips one by
one. Teacher made the stroke
one by on in her sand plate
and children followed the same.
After that teacher instructed
children to make cursive and
slanting standing stroke too. All
the students enjoyed a lot .They
revised & learned previous
strokes and new strokes
through learning by doing. e

Cat Making Using Number 8

“An Art & Craft Activity was organized on 16-04-21 by the class
teacher for students of class-I, where paperwork techniques were
demonstrated for the students to make a cat using number eight from
paper. Such craft activities are demonstrated for the students to make
cool multicultural creations from paper and are a great way to
enhance students’ creativity and thinking skills. This activity was
done to emphasize their understanding that some of the things
around us can be counted like our toys, sweets, etc with the help of
numbers. This activity involved chiefly folding, cutting and pasting
that re-emphasized their experiential learning of the tactile sensory
system”

Science

Art Integrated Learning (AIL)
is a framework of experiential
learning which provides an
equitable learning
environment for all learners
through their own access
points. Students engage in art
activities and construct
personal meaning through
their learning in an art
integrated environment.

Students of Grade-2 got

being a boy or a girl .
Everyone is special and
beautiful in their own way .

Globe
Making

A globe is a spherical model
of Earth. Globes serve
purposes similar to some
maps, but unlike maps, do
not distort the surface that
they portray except to scale
it down. Students of
Primary department made
their own globe with the
help of old newspapers, ball
and colors .

स्वर माला

Young children love exploring the world around them, and

they learn so much by doing things themselves. Relevant,

creative craft activities are essential for a young child’s

learning process. Since children love creative craft activities.

Little children enjoyed making SWAR-MALA coloring and

then tearing and pasting origami papers on A-4 size sheet.

Initially letters are introduced and recapitulated this way.

This activity was done to emphasize their learning of the

Hindi letter. This activity involved chiefly tearing and pasting

that re-emphasized their experiential learning of the tactile

The addition of enrichment
activities into the curriculum of
Primary Classes was to enhance
the experiential, comprehensive
and application-based quotient
of the students.
Little Angelites enjoyed making
their own sundae ice-cream. The
idea was enhancing their
thinking skill and giving them
responsibilities.

A number bond is a mental picture of the relationship
between a number and the parts that combine to make it.
The concept of number bonds is very basic, an important
foundation for understanding how numbers work”.
Children love exploring the new things, and they learn so

children enjoyed making NUMBER BOND drawings and then

Children made ice
-cream shaped cards
and wrote Rhyming
words from the poem
inside it. They
showcased their
creativity and enjoyed
learning the rhyming

Latitude and longitude are a system of
lines used to describe the location of
any place on Earth. Lines of latitude run
in an east-west direction across Earth.
Lines of longitude run in a north-south
direction. Although these are only
imaginary lines, they appear on maps
and globes as if they actually existed.

AIL Activity

Family is the single most important
influence in a child's life. From
their first moments of life, children
depend on parents and family to
protect them and provide for their
needs. The students enjoyed the
activity and pasted the pictures of
their loved ones in their family
tree.

Activity

Our solar system consists of our star,
the Sun, and everything bound to it by
gravity — the planets Mercury, Venus,
Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus
and Neptune, dwarf planets such as
Pluto, dozens of moons and millions of
asteroids, comets and meteoroids.

used to make model of linear
and crosslinked polymers. All
students enjoyed and actively
took part in it.

Germination
of Seeds

Seeds of Rajma, Moong Dal, Gram, urad
Dal etc will be taken and soaked overnight.
Then the seeds will be kept in the wet
cotton. Seeds will be kept near window so
that these get proper air, sun shine. cotton
should remain wet. After 3-4 days sprouts
will come out of seeds. This is how seeds
germinate. Most of the students
participated in the activity and able to
germinate the seeds successfully.

Different Methods
of Plantation

There are different ways of growing plants.
● Some plants can be grown by seeds. Ex-

Rajma, Gram, Moong dal, etc.
● Some plants can be grown by stem

cutting. Ex- Rose, Money plant.
● Some plants can be grown from their

leaves. Ex- Bryophyllum.
Students have participated in the activity
and have grown the plants using seeds and
stem cutting.

Food

Ingredients are the materials
used to make e food item.
Ingredients are obtained from
plants or animals. A diet
containing all nutrients in the
right amount is called
balanced diet. The students
were asked to write the names
of ingredients used to make
your favorite dish and what

diet a balanced diet.

Night Activity

Day and night are due to the Earth rotating on
its axis, not its orbiting around the sun. The term
'one day' is determined by the time the Earth
takes to rotate once on its axis and includes
both daytime and nighttime. “ Earth's rotation
causes daylight and  nighttime. Daylight for any
given location on Earth occurs when it is facing
the Sun. Nighttime occurs as that location on
Earth is facing away from the Sun.”

The Commutative Property for
Addition of Whole Numbers says
that the order of the addends
does not change the sum.
The multiplication of whole
numbers is commutative. In other
words, if a and b are any two
whole numbers, then a × b = b ×
a. We can multiply numbers in
any order. The product does not
