Some would say I’ve been a lover of the written word

all my life. Scribblings, jottings, musings, ponderings,

stories, essays, poetry – they’re all my thing really.

I have been writing professionally for over 20 years. Early on, I had a brief stint in
academia before I moved on to secondary school English teaching which I totally loved;
immersing myself in the written world all day, every day, was just grand. After becoming
a mother, my work life changed a little: I began both tutoring and mentoring lovely folk
with the goal of helping them become better writers (kinda like I did for the lovely lad
whose story is on the next page), while also freelance writing for a variety of clients. This
is the kind of work that lights me up and puts a spring in my step and for this reason, my
work is joyful. Every. Single. Day.

If you’d like to work with me, I’d love to hear from you. We could create wonderful
things together. You can read a bit more about what I do over on my website,
