Buddha statues in Laos are different than in other
countries such as the “Calling for Rain” posture of Buddha
images in Lao. It cannot be found in other Southeast Asian
Buddhist art traditions.

In Laos there are PhaLakPha Lam, the Lao version of Ramayana.
Another interesting thing about Lao culture is folk music, which

Lamvong, a dance in which people dance circles around each
other.
