4 March 2020 Industrial Training Report | Maker Lab UiTM Puncak Alam

i. I had printed out my second cookie cutter
character.

ii. The ‘Upin’ cookie cutter is printed using
Ultimaker Cura 3. The face shaped was printed
without a nose this time to reduce the
possibilities of dough stuck all over inside the
cutter.

5 March 2020 iii. I showed the product outcome to Dr. Azma for
approval and comments.

i. I updated and edited my Googlesite profile.

6 March 2020 ii. I made changes on my skills and added new
skills I gained over the past week such as
Fusion360 and Adobe Illustrators.

i. I had uploaded my ‘Upin’ and ‘Ipin’ cookie
cutter project on Googlesite profile.

ii. I draft the workflow of the task on the site.

iii. I added images of the product outcomes.

9 March 2020 i. I continued to edit my Googlesite content.

ii. I change the layout of the pages in my
Googlesite to make it more organized.

iii. I enhance my content writing and grammar
usages.

10 March 2020 i. I showed my Googlesite progress to Dr. Azma;
Dr Azma evaluated the content and did
grammar checked.

ii. Dr Azma evaluated my Googlesite and I get
feedback to improve on my writing skills.

i. I improved my Googlesite profile by referring
on other professional works.

ii. I edited my content writing.

iii. I edited my website to make it more practical
and user-friendly. I changed the header and
did not use too many images so the website
can load faster.

12 March 2020 i. I continued with the Googlesite task.

ii. I changed the background colours to make my
website look more minimal and easier to read.

iii. I drafted a 3D printed “batik” stamp; it’s a
joined project with other interns.

iv. I downloaded a simple “batik” prints from
google and began to trace the outlines using
Adobe Illustrators.

13 March 2020 i. I continued my 3D “batik” stamp drawing on
TinkerCad.

ii. I finished my 3D “batik” stamp drawing on
TinkerCad but did not managed to print it out.

16 March 2020 i. Makerlab received some visitors, foreign
students from Thailand.

ii. I had a chance to greet them and explained a bit
about MakerLab to the students and showed
them our products.

17 March 2020, i. I was assigned to work from home due to MCO.

23 March 2020, i. I continued my work on the Googlesite content.
24 March 2020,
25 March 2020, ii. I edited my photo on Adobe illustrator for the
26 March 2020, header on my website.

iii. I edited the page layout and writing content.

iv. I uploaded all my 3D printed projects that I
have done while in MakerLab and began to draft
the writing on the workflows of the projects.

30 March 2020, i. Work from home (WFH); resumed on previous
31 March 2020, work, I edited the Googlesite.
1 April 2020,
i. Dr. Azma had discussed with all interns about
2 April 2020, the task the we need to completed during the
3 April 2020. MCO.

6 April 2020, ii. Dr. Azma decided to work with us in
7 April 2020, developing an educational content for makers
8 April 2020, out there; mainly to help them gain better
9 April 2020, understanding in 3D development and design.
10 April 2020.

iii. We were assigned different topic for the
education content project.

13 April 2020, i. I was assigned a task to develop an educational
14 April 2020, content for MakerLab channel. This project was
15 April 2020, intended to provide intensive training in 3D
16 April 2020, design and 3D printing to people.
17 April 2020.

i. Dr. Azma suggested all intern to visit a website
link on how to make tutorial; from the website I
learned on how to make a content in easy and
understandable way.

ii. I spend the week downloaded different
software to develop my video.

iii. I develop new skills in using Microsoft
Expression Encoder, Openshoot Video, Video
Maker while doing this task.

20 April 2020, i. Started to draft out my content for the tutorial
21 April 2020, project.
22 April 2020,
23 April 2020, ii. I made a storyline on how to do my content. I
24 April 2020, draft the step by step instruction on lithophane
making so I can deliver the tutorial better.

iii. I sharpened my skill in video editing while
completed the task. I learn on how to add
transition, background music and subtitles on
video.

iv. Finished my first draft of the video and I
showed it to Dr. Azma.

v. Dr. Azma reviewed my assignment and had
asked me to make changes on some parts.

vi. Submitted my second draft to Dr. Azma.

vii. Dr Azma approved my work so I finalized my
video and send it to her to be uploaded in
MakerLab YouTube channel.

viii. Successfully uploaded my tutorial video in
YouTube.

27 April 2020, i. I have seen others intern video that has been

ii. I study the software that they used and learn on
how to use it to expanded my skills.

8 May 2020. website. I inserted new skills such as video
editing and added the software I used.

11 May 2020, i. I was assigned to make a book tutorial. In this
12 May 2020, bookmaking tutorial, I had demonstrated on
13 May 2020, how to make a 3D printed lithophane.
14 May 2020,
15 May 2020. ii. I started to draft the instruction for 3D printed
lithophane and included a snapshot images from
website.

iii. This is my last project for MakerLab; Book
Project on How to 3D Design using
TinkerCAD.

18 May 2020, i. Updated my book project to Dr. Azma for
