Jum-iyah Mosque

ตั้งอยู่ท่ีถนนพิชิตบํารุง ตําบลบางนาค อําเภอเมือง Situated on Phichit Bamrung road, Bang Nak

เม่ือปี พ.ศ. ๒๔๘๑ แลว้ เสร็จในปี พ.ศ. ๒๔๘๔ ชาวนราธวิ าส Originally, the central Mosque of Narathiwat province,

The Mongkol Phipit hill

The Mongkon Phipit Hill is located in the same
area with the shrine Kow Leng Ji. At present, they
have reproduced an image of the Buddha footprint,
the image of Phra Sung Ka Jai, a reclining Buddha
statue and other Buddha statue for all postures of
the venerable Buddha statue.
And the like statue of Luang Por Tuad (who
was believed could turn sea water to be neutral by
use of his foot only), this statue been ritualized by
a teacher Phra Tim of the Temple Chang Hai in BE
2509 (1966).

พระพิฆเนศ
The Ganesh god

ตั้งอยู่บริเวณเดียวกันกับศาลเจ้าโก้วเล้งจี่และ
เขามงคลพพิ ธิ เปน็ องคพ์ ระพฆิ เนศทมี่ ขี นาดหนา้ ตกั กวา้ ง
๗ เมตร สูง ๑๖ เมตร สร้างเม่ือปลายปี พ.ศ. ๒๕๔๖
แล้วเสร็จในปี พ.ศ. ๒๕๕๕ องค์พระพิฆเนศมีความ
ประณีตสวยงามจากการประดับด้วยโมเสคแก้วหลากสี
ถือได้ว่าเป็นเทวรูปองค์พระพิฆเนศที่สวยงามแห่งหน่ึง
ของประเทศไทย
(The Hindu god of wisdom) is located in
the same area with the shrine of Kow Leng Ji and
Mongkol Pipit Hill. The god Ganesh statue has a
7 metre width, 16 metres in height, construction
began at the end of BE 2555 (2012). The Ganesh
statue is very beautiful and scrupulously
decorated with multi coloured glass mosaic;
being the one of most beautiful religious statue
in Thailand.

The community of Balik Hilir is the
coast community situated in the area of Mueng
Narathiwat Municipality, Muang Narathiwat District.
It is an old community that had tenants from

Ban-Thon fishery village situated in Kok Khian Sub-District,
Mueng Narathiwat District, Narathiwat Province, located 18 km
from Muang Narathiwat District. It has a fishing village character,
next to Ban-Thon beach. It is the dropping point to see the fishing
way of life and the boat building of Kolae boats, the local boats
that have beautiful colourful designs and painting. Also, there
are other occupations in nearby areas, for example, the Basketry
Group that makes product from Krajood, the local boat model
group makes Kolae model boats and the cold-pressed Coconut
Oil Product group.

วา่ “วดั พทิ กั ษแ์ ผน่ ดนิ ไทย” เนอ่ื งจากครง้ั ทรี่ ฐั บาลไทย-องั กฤษไดท้ าํ สนธสิ ญั ญาแลก
เปล่ียนสิทธิสภาพนอกอาณาเขต เม่ือปี พ.ศ. ๒๔๕๒ ซึ่งทําให้ไทยต้องเสียดินแดน
๔ รัฐ ในแหลมมลายู ไดแ้ ก่ ปะลศิ ไทรบุรี กลนั ตนั และตรังกานู ให้กับองั กฤษ เพ่ือ
แลกกบั การยกเลิกสทิ ธิสภาพนอกอาณาเขต โดยไทยได้หยิบยกเอาพุทธศาสนสถาน
วัดชลธาราสงิ เห ซงึ่ เปน็ มรดกล้�ำค่าของไทยมาชา้ นาน ควรอยภู่ ายใต้อาณาเขตของ
ไทย รัฐบาลอังกฤษยอมรับเหตุผล จึงถอยร่นการปักปันเขตแดนลงไปทางใต้จนถึง
แม่น้�ำสุไหงโก-ลก จนทําให้พ้ืนที่อําเภอตากใบ อําเภอสุไหงโก-ลก และอําเภอแว้ง
ไมต่ ้องตกเป็นของอังกฤษ
ภายในวดั ชลธาราสิงเห มีสถานทน่ี ่าสนใจมากมาย อาทเิ ช่น พระอุโบสถ มี
ภาพจิตรกรรมฝาผนังที่เล่าถึงสภาพความเป็นอยู่ของผู้คนในท้องถิ่น อําเภอตากใบ
พระพทุ ธไสยาสน์ กุฏไิ มห้ ลังคาทรงปน้ั หยา ฉลลุ วดลาย ไม้งดงาม และมพี พิ ธิ ภณั ฑ์
ท้องถนิ่ ให้ไดเ้ รยี นร้เู ร่อื งราววิถชี ีวิต วัฒนธรรมทอ้ งถ่ิน อกี ด้วย
'Wat Chon Thara Singhe is situated in Cek-he Sub-District, Tak-Bai
District. It is an ancient temple that has a historical value for Narathiwat.
It has been constructed since BE 2403 (1960), local people named it
Wat Pitak Pandin Thai because at that time the Thai and the British
government were engaging in a treaty about ending the privilege rights
outside the boundary of British territories and in exchange with 4 states
in the lands of Malay peninsula, consisting of Perlis, Kedah, Kelantan,
Terengganu in BE 2452. (1909). The Thai government point out about
Buddhist Religious establishment, Wat Chon Thara Sing he was a valuable
Thai heritage for a long time, so it ought to be in Thai territory. The
British government conceded to the reasonable request and stepped
back the Southern boundary to Sungai Golok River, so that the land of
Tak-Bai District, Sungai-kolok district and Waeng District did not transfer
to Britain at that time.
Inside Wat Chon Thara Singhe there are many interesting places,
for example on the wall in the Chapel there was the mural that told
about the lives of the local people in Tak-Bai District, the reclining
Buddha image, the wooden house for the Buddhist priests (monks) in
a monastery with the roof in the Pan-Yah style and wooden fret work
with beautiful designs. There is a local museum for learning about the
way of life and local cultures.

วัดโก-ลกเทพวิมล ต้ังอยู่ถนนประชาวิวัฒน์ ซอย ๔ ในเขตเทศบาลเมือง
สไุ หงโก-ลก ชาวบา้ นเรยี กวา่ “วดั ทา่ นเอยี ด” ตามชอื่ ของอดตี เจา้ อาวาส ซงึ่ มรณภาพ
แล้วสังขารไม่เน่าเปื่อย มีลักษณะแข็งเป็นหิน ซ่ึงบรรจุอยู่ในโลงแก้วประดิษฐาน

Wat Kolok Thep Wimon is situated on Pracha Wiwat rd. Soi 4
in the area of the Sungai-kolok Municipality. Local people call it 'Wat-
TanAiead' according to the name of former abbot who has passed away
but his body did not decomposed but petrified like rock and is now
contained in a glass coffin and enshrined in the temple.
Besides there has a statue of Luang Por Tuad (the monk that
could neutralize the sea water using his feet), the statue of Pra Sangkajai
and the statue of Bodhisattva Guan Im

ศาลเจ้าแมโ่ ต๊ะโมะ ต้งั อยทู่ ซ่ี อยภูธร ถนนเจริญเขต ในเขตเทศบาลตําบลสไุ หงโก-ลก เป็นทีน่ บั ถอื ของชาวสไุ หงโก-ลก

เดือนสามของจีน (ประมาณเดือนเมษายนของทกุ ปี) ในงานจะมีการจัดขบวนแหเ่ จ้าแมโ่ ตะ๊ โมะ การแสดงสงิ โตนานาชาติ ขบวน

Chao Mae Tok Mok Shrine situated in Soi Puthon, Charoen Ket rd. in the area of the Sungai-kolok
Municipality, is respected by the people of Sungai-kolok and nearby including the Malay Chinese people.
Every year they will hold an annual festival at the area of the shrine on 23th of the third Chinese month,
(approximately in April) In the festival will be a procession of the goddess Tok Mok, the show of international
Lion, the parade of Eng-Kor (ceremony of fire), and a parade of people walking through fire together with
the Buddha statue.

The Chulabhorn-Pattana village 12 is situated in Sukhirin Sub-District, approximately 27 km from
Sukhirin District being a historical touring resource an also has a natural beauty.
In the past, it used to be the Communist Malaya Party base-site of section 10, until, in BE 2532
(1989), they signed the peace treaty to end the fear of arms and force, it became a co-operative to develop
Thailand called Moo-Ban-Rattana-Kitti 4 Later HRH Chulabhorn Walailak gave the new name of Moo-Ban
Chulabhorn Patana 12. In the village is an interesting tourist resource, for example The Museum of Ban
Chulabhorn-Pattana 12, the historical remains of the section 10 and one can also do a whitewater course
amidst the natural beauty.

ทองคํา ที่สรา้ งกอ่ นปี พ.ศ. ๒๔๗๔ โดยมีชาวฝรั่งเศส ได้รบั สมั ปทานการทาํ เหมอื งทองคําท่ภี เู ขาโตะ๊ โมะ ตอ่ มารัฐบาลไทยเข้า
ไปดาํ เนินการ หลังจากสงครามอินโดจีนและปัจจบุ ันได้เลกิ ดําเนินกจิ การแตย่ งั คงเหลือส่ิงก่อสรา้ ง เชน่ บา้ นพกั ท่ีทําการ อโุ มงค์
ขุดแรข่ นาดใหญ่ ๔ แห่ง และอุโมงคข์ นาดยอ่ ยอกี เป็นจาํ นวนมาก มกี ารสาธติ การรอ่ นทองแบบพืน้ เมือง และสามารถทดลอง

The gold mine ‘Tok-Mok' is situated at Ban-Tok-Mok, Phukhaothong Sub-District, approximately 16
km from Sukhirin District. The gold mine being built before BE 2474 (1931), been given concession to the
French operated gold mining at Tok-Mok hill. After the Indo-China War the Thai government operated this
mine, at present it has no operation but it still has construction, for example the home office, 4 large mining
tunnels and a lot of branch tunnels still exist. There is a local gold panning demonstration and you can
practice panning for gold.
