Message from Kollel Founder, our Rosh Kollel Emeritus:
Tonight touches the bottom of my heart and brings back
volumes of memories regarding you, the esteemed Board of
Directors of the Kollel. Each of you has played an integral role
in the development of the Kollel and in every phase of its
growth and success. Undoubtedly, over the years the Kollel
has influenced thousands of fathers, mothers, sons and
daughters directly and indirectly through your efforts.
Thanks to your foresight, perseverance, determination and
peaceful and pleasant demeanor, the Kollel has touched the
hearts of so many thirsty souls, enriched their lives and
enhanced their relationship with Hashem and His precious
Torah. When thinking about you the classic words of Chazal in
Pirkei Avos 2:2 come to my mind and express in the truest

sense the message of tonight’s dinner. “All who exert
themselves for the sake of the Jewish community should do so
solely for Hashem’s sake, for then the merit of the community

members’ forbearers assists them in their endeavors but
nevertheless Hashem credits you for all the success.” Everyone
who meets the Kollel’s devoted board members senses their
unassuming, modest natures but tonight Hashem has chosen

to display to the public the overwhelming success of their
labor in order to inspire others to follow their shining
example.

May Hashem continue showering his bracha upon all of your
endeavors on behalf of His Torah and His precious people.
