THE TOLUNA TEAM LOVE TO TRAVEL. THIS
ONE OF OUR TEAM MEMBER'S FAVOURITE
ROAD TRIP DESTINATIONS
ARAKOON NATIONAL PARK
Spring is just beautiful but it seems that summer is already knocking on our
door. This is the time when we normally pack up and take a little road trip
whenever we can - on the weekends, long weekends, or school holidays. We
like to go camping so that we can enjoy the weather and great outdoors. It's an
opportunity to get away from the daily hustle, electronic screens, and to spend
time with our kids so they can learn about and appreciate nature.
One of our favourite destinations is Arakoon National Park, South West Rocks.
It's the home to historic Trial Bay Gaol, offers beachside camping, rocky
foreshores with great fishing and beaches perfect for whale watching and
swimming. Our kids love it here and they always want to come back for more.

MICROSOFT JAPAN TRIALED A 4-DAY
WORK WEEK WITH APPROXIMATELY 2300
EMPLOYEES AND FOUND IT IMPROVED
PRODUCTIVITY, IN ADDITION TO
REDUCING THE COMPANY'S OPERATING
COSTS. SHOULD MORE COMPANIES
IMPLEMENT 4-DAY WORK WEEKS?
F O R E V E R Y O U N G 5 0 S A Y S :
Morale goes a long way towards worker productivity, whether it's working 2 or 3
days, or 5 or 6 days a week! It's not the time... it's the treatment of employees!
K A Z Z B A 0 0 7 S A Y S :
I worked a four day working week for a few months due to having excessive
holiday leave. I think I was just as productive and it took a lot of stress out of my
working life
R O L F I E 1 3 S A Y S :
This trial appears to be for a very short term of only one month and would be
interesting to see what would happen over a year and would people go back to
same work habits as before.
S 8 1 7 5 6 1 2 U S A Y S :
I think production is important but to live with a disposable income you are going
to need to work that fifth day. Meaning companies with this strategy will have a
decrease in possible employees, you would have to increase the salary
M I N N A 6 4 S A Y S :
I think workers could be given the option to work out what works best for them
A M A N D A . K I W I . L A N E S A Y S :
Absolutely this makes intuitive sense and i think will become the norm in the not so
distant future
