Nowadays, the entire world is hoping for products which will enhance the lifestyle that should
be eco-friendly; do not cause any pollution to the environment. It seems very difficult to find
a product which are free from chemical substances. The basic remedy of our product is neem.
Multipurpose Nimba can use as homemade neem oil, neem cream neem hand sanitizer or spray
and neem oil. Multipurpose Nimba is a 4 in 1 multipurpose homemade product. Neem is nimba
is good for health. The basic remedy of our product is Neem Multipurpose Nimba can use as
homemade neem oil, neem cream, neem hand sanitizer/spray and neem serum. Multipurpose
nimba is 100% natural product which is fully made of home remedies. It is Antiseptic, Anti-
bacterial, Anti-inflammatory analgesic, Anti-fungal, Anti-aging. Multipurpose Nimba is a very
beneficial product because it’s only contained home remedies that are good for health such as
neem, turmeric, clove and fenugreek. All the remedies that we used are organic, ecofriendly
and use for heath too. Our multipurpose nimba will solve many problems. problems. Firstly, to

Almost every household, inevitably has old batteries that are not disposed of properly, some
even keep batteries that have not been used for years. Whether it's a watch battery, a remote
control or a computer or cell phone battery, you know, it's dangerous and can be detrimental to
health. The perception of many, batteries are just small devices that do not have any impact on
human health and the environment. The fact is, the notion is wrong because it can have such a
devastating effect on humans that it is life threatening. Lead is a carcinogenic substance that
can cause cancer. Exposure to lead can result in bloating and indigestion, constipation, poor
appetite, headaches, and lethargy, and even cancer in the long run. As we all know solar energy
is an environmentally friendly source of energy and will never run out. To overcome this
problem, I produced a solar car project. Or more interestingly I call this project an anesthetic
car. Solar panels are environmentally friendly technology and there are no limits. solar panels
are placed in sunlight, the light energy becomes electrical energy. This anesthetic car works
when solar panel produce light energy, then converted into electrical energy connected to 12V
USB module.12v USB module is connected to microprocessor which will connect to low RPM
motor i.e. DC1 for turning and DC2 for forward and backward. With solar car micro controller,
the remote control is capable of being controlled by the user. With this project, human health
and environmental problems can be controlled and repaired. I hope this anesthetic car project
can have a positive impact on the community and the country can develop the country in terms
of transportation.

Generating Electricity by Using Seaweed
(Kappaphycus Alvarezii) Through the Process

of Bio photovoltaics

Seaweed has found to be a new source of ‘green energy’. By using the Bio photovoltaics (BPV) concept,
electrical energy can be generated from seaweed. This current research was conducted to investigate
whether seaweed (Kappaphycus Alvarezii) could really replace the current energy resource. The
objective of this project being operated is to find another green energy source that is safer for the
environment. Through the BPV process, along with seaweed’s property being a renewable energy
source, the generation of electrical energy from seaweed will not harm the environment as it only
produces oxygen and protons without the production of pollutants such as carbon dioxide. The
chlorophyll was extracted by soaking the seaweed (Kappaphycus Alvarezii) in solvents- acetone,
ethanol, and methanol. As the chlorophyll was extracted, a UV-Vis Spectrophotometer test was
conducted to measure the absorption of a compound by the result. After knowing the amount of
chlorophyll absorbed, a Cyclic Voltammetry test was run to study the electrochemical properties of an
analyte in solution or of a molecule that is adsorbed onto the electrode. The results show that the
least potential applied for the three solvents (seaweed with ethanol/methanol/acetone) is -1.00098V.
At -1.00098V, the current produced for methanol in Light Condition is -6.36E-05A and -7.326E-05A in
Dark Condition. For ethanol, the current produced in Light Condition is -6.926E-05A and -6.876E-05A
in Dark Condition. For acetone, the current produced in Light Condition is -3.06E-05A and -3.182E-05A
in Dark Condition. As an improvement to our project, we plan to create a battery out of seaweed
(Kappaphycus Alvarezii) as we see it as a reliable and efficient energy source.

Nowadays, the citizens desire a system which will enhance their lifestyle and the system needs
to be user friendly. Problem faced by the people of Malaysia is that customers must queue for
a long period of time to pay in the mall. Customers are provided three ways of payment by
using cash, credit, and debit. therefore, to promote touchless technology and reduce contact by
using an online payment system and can reduce queuing time. At the same time, it will decrease
the long queue of customers. We also realized that customers have difficulty finding specific
items and waste their time because there are many aisles. A solution for this is we can make an
app that customers can request for specific items and will show the location in the app. In order
to solve the problem mentioned, we can make an app that customers can request for specific
items and will show the location in the app with our innovation on this project. We can check
our budget during shopping without being worried about our expenses exceeding our limit.
This system will reduce time spent when shopping. We can check our budget during shopping

using Arduino mega and WIFI ESP- 01 to link shared data between Arduino and phone.
Arduino mega are used to compensate for pin usage. There are several other components that
are used for this project. Next, to use this system, a customer needs to log on to his account on
the app. Customers can start to scan groceries using the barcode scanner. The barcode scanner
is used to simulate the camera on the phone. Users can find items easily using the app. Simply,
find the item you want to search in the dropdown menu and the app will tell which aisle the
item resides. From the system developed, the improvement is that customers don’t need to
waste their time again on searching for their desired items by using our system. The result
shows a positive impact hence saves the user in a lot of time. To conclude, shopping problems
like searching for items and wasting time on the queue are solved with Smart Payment System,
hence improving shoppers to search for items and not wasting their time.

PDPR, Limitation and Its Effect Towards
Students' Mental Health

The COVID-19 pandemic has managed to heavily impact different fields such as the
economics, administration, and education. During this critical period, almost all educational
institutions worldwide need to be taught via the internet. This new concept has been introduced
to the education system to ensure students are not left behind. Thus, the aim of the study is to
determine the correlation between the guidance of online learning, including the efficiency of
applications used and the study also explores about the impacts of online learning activities on
learning outcomes of students. These learning activities, results and outcomes can be analysed
to make improvements to develop online learning to be more effective and less stressful for
today’s generation of students. The learning outcomes of tools that are being used to learn
online have been collected by the responses gathered in Google Forms to seek for their view
about the concept of online education. The learning outcomes and results were obtained from
the forms filled by students from various ranges of age and levels of education. Interactions
between students and students, students and teachers, students and families, students and time-
management during online learning phases were also considered. In this study, two sets of
questionnaires were given to more than 200 students from all over Malaysia about the
efficiency of their education applications during online learning and the side effects of this
phase regarding their mental health. To sum it all up, many actions have been taken by
government to improve the quality of online studying as well as reduce the potential mental
stress faced by students during PDPR. Not to forget, the educational apps provided by Google
such as Google Meet, Google Classroom and Google Scholar have increased the effectiveness
of online learning by 85.5% for students. Meanwhile, there are 30% of students who have been
suffering from clinical depression due to overwork and more than 90% of other problems have
been the result of online learning. The quantitative results obtained clearly have shown how
the interaction of students can make a big change and reduce the severity of side effects of
online learning. In conclusion, it is as clear as day that online learning is clearly flawed because
of the numerous problems it has caused compared to traditional schooling.

River Cleaning Control Device (Grogu)

The current state of some rivers in Malaysia are sadly to say, in deplorable conditions. They
are polluted with used plastic bags, twigs and dead leaves, thus causing a water blockage and
environmental problems. Furthermore, chemical substances were also dumped illegally by
irresponsible parties, causing foul odours and a highly contaminated body of water. From 2013
to 2019, almost 61 rivers in Malaysia are considered highly polluted. One of the worst cases
that has been recorded occurred in Sungai Tebrau which has affected life that depended on it.
As a solution to the issue, we have invented GROGU, a water cleaning robot with the ability
to collect rubbish and wastes on river surfaces. It can move using a rechargeable controller that
can control the speed and movement of robot to go forward, left, right or make a U-turn. It is
targeted to solve the issue of unpleasant odours caused by poor water flows, reduce the risk of
people getting unwanted waterborne diseases and eliminate the need of manual work and
exposure to contaminated water. Grogu’s main body was constructed using a
19.1cm×39.2cm×8.5cm acrylics board. For buoyancy, we used 2×30.5 cm plastic bottles to
help improve the stability of the body. The buoyancy can be adjusted by increasing or reducing
the volume of water inside the plastic bottle at the side of the robot’s body. The net on the
robot’s body acts to prevent the collected waste from being carried out along with water which
may cause it to become too dense. The removal is made easier by just unzipping the net to take
the waste and rubbish out. For the electrical parts, we used a 7.4 Volt Li-ion rechargeable
battery, a receiver board, a motor, and a transmitter. The engine part was constructed using 2
pieces of 5.5 cm propellers so that the robot can move in different directions, 2 Lego sticks to
ensure the propellers can reach the water and an airtight container to contain the electrical parts.
Collection tests were conducted in a tank by using 3cm×3cm polystyrene cubes weighing 3.2
g each to simulate waste and rubbish. 31 pieces were collected for the first 1-minute trial and
41 pieces were collected for the second trial. With Grogu, the polluted river issues can hence
be solved, thus improving the current state of the rivers, and the quality of living organisms
which depend on it.

An exposure related with green environment nowadays are getting widespread. Most people in
our community supportive about recycling material such as plastic, glass, papers, and metals.
Although there is a company that handling the recycle methods, not most of the people know
how the recycling method has been done. Not like the other country, the people are taking
advantage from recycling materials themselves. They produce a lot of things from recycle
materials. In other to help reducing the amount of disposal plastic material, a Board from
Recycling Poly-propylene Plastic has created from simple method. The objective of the
innovation is to reduce the amount of plastic disposal and this project will produce a product
that can replace a wood for furniture plus it save environment. This product was developed
from a simple kitchen method, where the plastic has been melted in the pot and then pour into
a mould. It also can make students simply figure out how the plastic melting process and how
does it look like when it in a liquid phase then became solid phase. The result showed that a
new product was produces as a new back up material to replace wood for furniture. At the end
of process, the board has successfully created. The product will be improved by mixing poly-
propylene together with fibres from organic materials. We hope this innovation can educate
people to save the environment.

Lightning Alarm Dangerous Strike Alert
(LADSA)

Lightning Alarm Dangerous Strike Alert (LADSA) System is mainly about a low price and
automated lightning warning system by using the Picoscope 3405D and Raspberry Pi 2B. This
system used to alert people in surrounding about the approaching dangerous lightning strike
based on the electromagnetic wave emitted by the lightning. The electric field component
which using the slow field waveform as indicator to measure the range of distance of the
lightning strike nearby. At first, the antenna was used to capture the wide range electromagnetic
wave (1 Hz-1GHz) from the lightning strike than it flows to the buffer circuit. The function of
buffer circuit is to filter the frequency 1 Hz-1 KHz and increase the power of the signal before
it sends the signal to the picoscope. The picoscope convert the analogue signal to digital signal.
After that, the data will be sent to MATLAB online. The MATLAB will carry out the image
processing using cross-correlation method and image features detection using Speeded-Up
Robust Features (SURF) method. The main purpose of image processing is to find the
probability by displaying putatively matched features with the similarity between standard
waveform and new waveform. This is to identify the distance of approaching lightning strike
accurately. Then, it will command the Raspberry Pi on real time. The Raspberry Pi 2.0 trigger
the alarm system. The alarm system will give warning of the approaching lightning strike.
There are three alarm levels. First, when the lightning strike range is beyond 20 km, it will light
up in green colour and it means the output is clear. Then, the alarm will light up in yellow
colour if the approaching lightning strike is in the range within 7 to 20 km and red colour when
it is within 7 km. The siren sound emits to alert the people of approaching dangerous lightning
strike. As a result, people have a chance to find shelter to save their life.

Safe-Distancing Monitoring System (SDM)

Monitoring people is very difficult to ensure they comply with social distancing rules all the
time to minimize the spread of Covid-19. Safe-Distancing Monitoring (SDM) System is a
genius way in monitoring social distancing practise in public and has proven to be very
effective method. The system uses detection algorithm and distance algorithm to detect safe or
unsafe distance value. A siren will produce to alert of unsafe distances. SDM system is integrate
to CCTV at school, shops and in public. A video streaming is captured from the CCTV camera
as an input. SDM system converted it into frames (Images) as data set. Datasets were loading
and trained by YOLOv3 (You Only Look Once) model. COCO (Common object in context)
which contains well-trained data is implemented to train the bounding box detect only human.
Transfer learning is implemented to enhance the efficiency of the model detection. After
detection, each centroid of bounding boxes is calculated by using centroid tracking algorithm.
Then the distance between two centroid is calculated using distance algorithm. A minimum
social distance limit is set to determine either the distance is violating or not. If the distance
value does not violate, the bounding box remains green. It indicates two people are within safe
distance. If the distance value violates, indicates two people are close to each other. The
bounding box changed to red. If bounding box remained red in 5 sec, the Raspberry pi is
commanded to control relay and trigger a siren sound to alert the people that they are in unsafe
distance. Experimental results indicate the SD Monitoring System accuracy of 90%.

Kid's Smart Helmet

The use of helmets and other safety equipment by child pillion riders while riding to school
was studied in cross-sectional observational research. According to articles published by the
Department of Environmental and Occupational Health, Faculty of Medicine and Health
Sciences, University Putra Malaysia, the prevalence of helmet use among students as pillion
riders was low (47.88 percent) compared to adults (75.21 percent). This was insufficient.
Helmets play an important role in saving lives and decreasing injuries, but there is a general
lack of awareness about their benefits. As a result, various safety alert innovations are required
to give additional safety protection for young pillion riders to compensate for the lack of use
of safety equipment while riding pillion. There is a distinct lack of awareness of the benefits of
helmets in helping to save lives and reducing injuries. Hence, there is a need for other safety
alert innovation to provide additional safety protection for child pillion riders to counter the
lack of safety equipment use while riding pillion. To solve the problem mentioned, a smart
safety helmet with additional reflector and a sensor attached buzzer was introduced in the
projects. This circuit produced 'beep-beep' sound for the buzzer when helmet is worn with
helmet not buckled. This product/system will cater the (the difficulties or problem) hence
directly reduce the number of road accidents for the school going kids and eventually increase
the safety aspect of the helmet. This product using fitted with 4x(3V) button cell for powering
the sensor buzzer. Pin will get disarmed once the kid buckles up the helmet. From the product/
system developed, and the result analysed, it is beneficial for the school students to be
motivated to buy the smart helmet for preventing road accidents in Malaysia with improved
safety aspect. Smart helmet is a very safe and preventive head wear, very needy for the school
children. The main aim of this system is primarily prevention from injuries when a person
wearing this helmet meets with an accident. With additional safety aspect, it is expected the
smart helmet will benefit for school children. This innovative product can be tagged by ‘safety
first and prevention is better than cure’.

Organic Nutrient Cake for Poultry

The chicken breeding industry is the most important industry in Malaysia, demand for poultry
production has led to the increase of food production. The two major issues in chicken breeding
are unstable and pricey chicken feed and halal issues of imported chicken feed from abroad.
This problem is a challenge for chicken breeders as well as consumer doubts. After the
pandemic, these issues become the most serious challenge in the industry. Our new formulation
of chicken feed called "ORGANIC NUTRIENT CAKE FOR POULTRY" is expected to solve
the issue. This food formulation is based on 100% organic food source containing all the
essential nutrients needed to produce good and quality growth for all levels of breeding and is
necessarily halal without chemicals. The issue of the non-halal feed inspires us to ensure the
chicken are well - fed and raised undoubtedly. The main ingredients are azolla (Azolla pinnata)
and “Ketum Ayam Leaves” (Trichanthera gigantean) which containing high of protein. The
other ingredients also containing with all the essential nutrient inside the food it will accelerate
chicken growth and quality of their health and absolutely halal because it come from plants
source. These foods are specially designed in round and rectangular shapes such as cakes to
facilitate breeders to feed on poultry to save space and use of specific containers. Organic
nutrient cake is a main food for livestock whether chicken, duck and even quail. It is made of
a mixture of several nutritious plants which each plant contains all essential nutrients for
chicken feed. It is specially design in bar or round shape with the soft and moisture texture so
as to make it easier for the chicken to peck at the food. A form that is easy to store and give to
livestock. The food just needs to open the plastic and put it on the floor which no special
container required. Chickens are found to be full quickly and can save on food. The chicken
was more disease-resistant and tolerant to the environment. Based on the result study conducted
on the sample showed positive chicken growth and weighed higher than normal food bran
consumption. It will Improve the quality and accelerate the growth of livestock. Therefore, it
is hoped that this innovation product will have a high impact on small- and large-scale poultry
breeders and benefit the community.

Intelligence Board 3.0

Since January 2019, the Malaysian school system was severely affected by the Covid19
Pandemic. This resulted in schools being closed, with teachers and students have to go through
the new norms of schooling when they have to do Teaching and Learning from Home (PDPR).
For Upper Secondary Vocational Program (PVMA) in 1 Phase Electrical Wiring course
student’s, this method is very difficult as the course content involves 70% electrical wiring
practice. Students need to complete practical course works where hand tools, wiring
accessories, and wiring places are only available in schools. The innovation of Intelligence
Board 3.0 (IB3.0) was specially developed by answering the challenge as when other students
can bring home their books, they should also be allowed to bring a wiring bay like in the
Electrical Workshop back home. The development of this IB3.0 is to help to increase
understanding, sharpen skills and allow users to experience the work of electrical wiring for
themselves. The PDPR process of students and teachers for this course will be smoother as
IB3.0 covers 4 out of the 6 subject modules. The effectiveness of IB3.0 was demonstrated with
a study using special task to monitor student’s achievement in electrical wiring mastery. A total
of 20 samples of students from SMK Tun Tijah were taken and went through the diagnostic
test and the score shows that the percentage of passing students was 70%. Fourteen students
were able to perform the electrical wiring through electrical wiring compared to zero before.
The use of IB3.0 has greatly helped to improve skills in making electrical wiring connections,
no matter where they are at. This IB3.0 has the potential to be marketed as an impressive and
user-friendly teaching aid.

go to the garden to check her plant every day. She also can’t go to shop to buy some fertilizers
for her plant in order to avoid covid-19 spread. To propose an IoT solution for people to take
care and monitor of their plant and livestock. To keep all the relevant and important data in
cloud MQTT server for analytics, forecast and future planning. To implement an IoT solution
that can help to improve aquaponics. To detect the environment condition present in the system.
Grow healthy plants and live stocks Send a notification to the owner’s phone if the water is not
enough or needs to change. With SMART AQUAPONICS, it will notify us when: the water
level of the fish tank is low because the function of aquaponic system can be affected with the
change of water level. the quantity of salt in the water tank decrease especially nitrate because
it can affect the growth of the plants. Nitrate levels between or higher than 25 ppm to 30 ppm

read the water level and total dissolved solid (TDS). (3) The ESP32 microcontroller also will
be used to analyse the amount of Ammonia and Nitrates present. This information can be
monitored remotely using IoT as long as there is a reliable connection to the system. Numbers
of targeted buyers will increase especially from employees, disabled people and people who
love to cultivate. The quality of the crops will increase. Realtime monitoring both plants and
fish using smartphones. Can be used in multiple kind of gardening platform or aqua-pet. This
project is very useful and have a large and high market value. This project will save us so much
time and energy since we don’t have to observe them manually with the help of IoT.

Based on our research, the production of waste has increased rapidly throughout these years.
This is because dustbins aren't effective as it isn't quite suitable in this era of technology.
Therefore, we came up with a project "SMART DUSTBIN" which helps in many kinds of way
and makes one’s life easier. This project helps in making sure the cleanliness of our
environment. With the help of this product, we can overcome problems such as overflowing
rubbish, air pollution and diseases. Various problems were faced by Malaysian citizens such
as land pollution due to the unmanaged garbage thrown. The garbage that contains harmful
substances will be absorbed into the soil which can lead to infertile of land. Besides that, water
pollution is also one of the biggest problems where the overflowing garbage flow into the rivers
during heavy rains or flood. Next, the development of insects and bacteria in the dustbin which
can cause diseases. Consequently, this innovation can ease the consumer and authorities
simultaneously. It also reduces the production of greenhouse gases due to the reduction of
decomposition of rubbish. Furthermore, it can teach society to implement good practice for the
environment. On the other hand, this product reduces the frequency of waste collection. This
product saves time by using smart waste collection bins and systems equipped with sensors.
User don’t have to put efforts or face obstacles in opening and closing the dustbin as it is
automatic. Next, the speaker plays music to remind people to always throw rubbish inside the
dustbin. Initially, we carried out research to determine the suitable component to overcome
the problems. This product was developed using ultrasonic sensor which is placed on the lid of
the dustbin. Servo motor is located connecting the lid and dustbin body while the Arduino
board is placed at the back of the dustbin. The speaker is placed in front of the dustbin. When
the PIR sensor detects any movement within a meter, it triggers Arduino to open the lid. When
the rubbish is full, it will trigger the lid to close and notifies the management. The targeted
buyers are disabled people and people who love clean environment. In addition, kindergarten,
and school owners to attract children to throw rubbish. Other than that, public park, or
playground manager. To conclude, the overflowing of garbage is solved with the innovation
smart dustbin hence provide a better lifestyle.

Nowadays, society needs products or tools that facilitate cleaning work. The product must have
features that meet the needs of the community or consumers, and it must be environmentally
friendly and efficient in every way. Nowadays, there are different types of cleaning tools, such
as vacuum cleaners, which are produced by manufacturers to make cleaning easier for users.
However, not all consumers can afford a vacuum cleaner because the price was quite high.
Moreover, the lower price vacuum cleaners available in the market have only one function,
which is to vacuum dust or garbage, while users need other products or tools to blow dust on
uneven surfaces such as keyboards and others. So users need more than one device to solve the
problems that arise, and of course, the space required for storage is also very high. To ensure
that the needs of the community or consumers can be met, a product has been developed to
make it easier for consumers, namely VACUUM ECO ENVIRONMENT CLEANING. This
product provides dual function, namely vacuuming and blowing. Moreover, this product uses
a rechargeable battery as a power source and users can save space as this product is smaller
and more compact. In addition, the production of these products is also cheaper because they
are made of recycled materials, which can save more cost and recycled materials are widely
used and can reduce pollution. Before we came up with the idea of making this product, an
observational study was first conducted on the needs of today's consumers who require tools
that can facilitate cleaning at minimal cost while reducing recyclable waste. Therefore, this tool
is manufactured to solve the two problems that have been identified. The product can reduce
the waste of recycled materials and provide cleaning tools for all consumer groups as it is
cheaper compared to the cleaning tools available in the market today. This tool can also save
space as it is smaller and has two functions. So the user needs only one tool for the cleaning
work. Overall, the presence of this innovative product can solve the problems that arise and
thus educate the users to be more creative and innovative in making a product that can be used
by all strata of the society.

Covid-19 pandemic has greatly changed the global educational landscape. With many countries
still imposing strict lockdown to curb the infection, many schools are forced to close. However,
classes continue via home-based learning continues through online platform. Most schools
administer examinations to assess student's level of understanding throughout the online
learning. There are various software’s and application programmes to help teachers evaluate
students for multiple answer questions. However, teachers are having problems to assess their
students answers in the form of structures, essays, equations, drawings and reading skills due
to the lack of effective marking tools. Teachers are struggling because it is difficult to check
students’ answers through online platform. Excessive paper printing may contribute negatively
to the environment and teacher’s financial capacities. Some teachers use downloading method
to check and assess students' answers. This might cause shortage of gadget storage memory
and can be time consuming. This project was carried out to assist teachers in carrying out
comprehensive student evaluations either during online exams or assessments during online
class session. This project aims to reduce waste of papers, use of printer ink and usage of data
storage. Furthermore, this system will combat the difficulties associated with checking answers
in various forms and formats, as well as dealing with the problem of excessive paper use.
Initially, a study was conducted to justify the difficulties associated with checking students'
answers from online forms. According to the justification, a system was developed using the
Excel programming method. Teachers can extract online form data, and later import them into
the programmed Excel system to simplify, tabulate and link with online data. Finally, this
system is programmed with data analysis for further evaluate their students. From this system,
the improvement will benefit teachers because the problem of marking on the paper can be
solved with e-marking. Hence, it saves the end user in a lot of aspects. For example, it is cost
saving (no ink or paper printing is required), data saving (reduce numbers of documents to be
downloaded) and time saving (all data are tabulated and linked automatically). Besides, 100%
of our respondents agree that our system can help teachers to improve their marking style and
save a lot of their time and energy. 100% also agree that it is very easy to use especially when
the system is programmed to lessen the burdeu of manual marking for teachers.

Malaysians are at risk of being exposed to the dangers of floods, especially flash floods. Large
urban areas with high population densities as well as rapid development rates can result in flash
floods. This is proven to happen in several large cities such as Kuala Lumpur, Ipoh,
Georgetown, Kota Bharu and other cities in Malaysia. The factor in the occurrence of flash
floods is due to the encroachment of natural resources on a large scale where the trees that
serve as rainwater conductors have been cut down. Rainfall continues to reach the soil surface
without any obstruction and erodes the soil structure in turn causing the river's capacity to be
lost due to sediments at the bottom of the river and the frequency of convective rainfall. The
flow of surface water is not smooth and blocked, the surface is not able to absorb water.
Generally, flash floods can occur between a few minutes to half an hour after it rains. It can
end quickly which is from half an hour to a day. A flood alarm or warning system can give
early warning to humans. This is very important now, especially if there is heavy rain that
causes flash floods and in turn can prevent the occurrence of unwanted things. It is only
concentrated in residential areas, low -lying areas and open areas. Apart from that it can act as
an early warning of the water level up to the next alert level of danger level. Use two levels of
water namely safe and vigilant. This flood alarm system is affordable and economical, user -
friendly and easy to move to suitable areas. This innovation aims to develop a flood prevention
system. FLOOD (Flood Observation Device) for residential and low-lying areas. FLOOD
(Flood Observation Device) operates using electrical power, where the flood detection circuit
and detection unit will transmit signals using a capstone mounted on the end of a PVC pipe.
The generator is installed at the flood stage just in case. In this design, the slab is used as a
switch (switch). The red light is used as a warning light just in case. PVC pipe is used to hold
the three pile stones. Apart from that, this design also uses the 'Water Float Less' equipment as
one of the main drivers for the FLOOD (Flood Observation Device). It is designed using
simple tools and materials and includes a simple circuit. This design can or is able to help
users cope with our flood disaster. In addition, its cost is affordable, portable, and lightweight.
FLOOD (Flood Observation Device) is also understandable and user friendly.

Nowadays, industries create a product such as repellent that will enhance the lifestyle and not
environmentally friendly. The problem faced by the people of Malaysia is the repellents which
help us to kill insects are contains chemical ingredients and not made up from natural
ingredients. Furthermore, even though repellent also helps to kill the bugs that eat the plant’s
leaves but sometimes the chemical ingredients in the plant could kill the plants. To overcome
this problem we created this multipurpose repellent to create a repellent not just it is beneficial
for plants, but also insects from only using natural ingredients that easily can get in our country.
Nowadays, we are just using separate repellents for plants and insects. Even though, we are
using them separately each of them contains chemical substances such as cyfluthrin and
permethrin. After some time, using those chemical repellents can cause various types of side
effects for human health and the environment. But our project acts as multi-functioning
repellent to kill the insects and the pests that spoiling the plants. Initially, research was carried
out and saying that large does of 'DEET' in insects and bugs repellents are so poisonous which
is harmful for humans, environment and have been linked to skin blisters and seizures. In
addition, the multipurpose repellent is easy to use and as cheap as edible. We have carried an
experiment to test out our product. We have carried out the experiment in two different places
where one is in-house and plant. From the experiment, it took 15 minutes to kill the insects in
the house with the frequency of 5 times spraying the repellent. But in the next day, it took only
5 minutes to kill the insects with the frequency of 3 times spraying the repellent. Moreover, for
the plants, it took 24 hours to kill the pests with the frequency of spraying the repellent 5 times
and took 20 hours to kill the pests with a frequency of 3 times. The conclusion that we can tell
from the results obtained is our project works and it is easy to use. To conclude, the chemical
repellents which is harmful for humans and environment is solved by our innovated
multipurpose repellent that is natural and 100% environmentally friendly.

Nowadays, people are investing a lot of ways to make it easier for handling both farming and
breeding fish. Problem faced by farmers are space area needed for doing both farming and fish
breeding on the land because the area might not be big enough for both. To solve both
problems, solar powered aquaponics is introduced. It is a combination in agriculture and
aquaculture to ease both situations. This system was invented to reduce the area land needed
for both problems and instead combine it to become something better that benefit both the
plants and the fish without needing to use any cost. Initially, researchers found out that both
the fish and plant grow much healthier and much more efficient due to factors such as the
nitrogen cycle which provides nutrients to the plant and fish tank cleaner after the waste is
transferred to the plant and used as fertilizer. From systems developed, both problems have
been solved without any issues such as space and land needed to do both farming and fish
breeding. In conclusion, the problem between agriculture and aquaculture is solved with
innovated aquaponics system and not only benefits fish and plant to each other but also the
owner itself for not needing to buy any type of land, water filter to clean the fish tank and
others. Aquaponics is needed now more than ever since the start of year 2020 when the
pandemic started. Many stores were closed due to the outbreak of covid-19 and people needed
food necessities such as vegetables, fruits, and fish but if the aquaponics system were to be
commercialise to the people. Nobody would ever need to worry about buying any ingredients
such as fruits, vegetables, and fish since they can just start growing it themselves behind their
backyard and such. This would not only prevent the infection to spread less since people don’t
need to go to the supermarket anymore to buy the ingredients but also save money and create
a more responsible and dependable society.

a need to change the lodging plan and development advances which are utilised in the nation
to decrease the expenses, carbon dioxide emanation, and to furnish more indoor solace with
least energy needs. This will however impact towards those who aren’t capable of affording

energy needs. To solve the cost of building materials that can be afford by citizens in Malaysia,
expanded polystyrene beads (EPB) is created to solve the problems that is faced by most
citizens. This innovation project was carried out to help lessen our people’s burden in affording
high cost of building materials. Expanded polystyrene beads (EPB) will cater the cost and
expenses of affordable building materials hence directly solves carbon dioxide emanation and
furnish more indoor solace with least energy needs. Initially, research was carried out to
identify the problems that is faced by expenses of building materials in Malaysia. From the
identification, expanded polystyrene beads (EPB) was developed by styrene that undergo
polymerisation and to use it, mix the expanded polystyrene beads (EPB) with other building
materials and apply on the cavity of a wall. From the expanded polystyrene beads (EPB) that
developed, the improvement will benefit and help Malaysians due to the expenses and prices
for building materials has decreases. The result shows positive impact hence saves the Ozone
layer and environment in a lot of aspects. To conclude, the expenses and cost of building
materials is solved with the innovated expanded polystyrene beads (EPB) hence improves
ozone layer reduction regarding to zero halogens used in the making process of expanded
polystyrene beads (EPB).

In the US alone, around 61 million people (18.6%) have difficulty walking which makes it
difficult for this group of people to do several daily things that are considered normal to the
average man. According to general studies, people tend to rely on advanced technology to do
their daily activities as it can complete a job more efficiently and faster compared to people
back in recent centuries. People with disabilities, old folks and kids hardly can reach the switch.
Sometimes we get really handful and swamped with tasks and tend to forget to switch off the
lights. To solve the problem mentioned, MIE-switch was created to reduce the use of human
energy and to make things easier for the people with disabilities to turn on/off appliances
without the help of others along with saving electricity consumption to preserve the
environment. This product will cater to the waste of electricity hence directly solves the
difficulties that are faced by human beings. We guarantee a change in lifestyle towards an
easier and time saving way of living benefiting all the users by lowering the cost of electric bill
since it can be controlled using a remote in long and short distance and controllable using a
smartphone via Wi-Fi. The motion detector will have to save energy because the connected
appliances will automatically turn off if there’s no movement in a particular space. To
conclude, the difficulties that are faced by modern day humans such as kids, old folks, disabled
people and for us all who are swamped with work is solved with the innovation that a switch
that we usually need to walk and manually turn the switch on, can be controlled both manually
and wirelessly through the use of a remote and Wi-Fi hence improving accessibility of turning
on a switch and reducing the hassle especially to the disabled people not to mention the addition
of a motion sensor to turn off the switch when no one is around, ultimately optimizing energy
usage and cutting the electricity bill.

Touchless Smart Barrier (TSB) 2.0 is a 3 in 1 bar system that will open the entrance and exit
routes automatically after the user follows the SOP that has been programmed. This Touchless
Smart Barrier is very useful to save customer’s time. Customers able to scan mySejahtera QR
code, contactless scanning body temperature with accurate reading, and auto-sanitize hands.
The system will auto-reset the program if the customer unable to complete the SOP and allow
next queuing person to use. This product also very efficient in enforcing customers to comply
with the programmed SOPs and counting the number of customers in to and out from the
premise which able to control the quantity of customers below the limit so that they are not
congested in the premises to reduce the risk of covid-19 infection. The bar is just a symbolic
and the system can be integrated with automatic door or boom gate for a larger scale of premise,
e.g., shopping mall, Stadium etc. The has several problems which is no SOP monitoring of
customer entry into the premises in an orderly manner, the risk of infection during interactions
between shopkeepers and customers in terms of physical distancing and customer negligence
in complying with SOPs when entering the premises which require shopkeepers to perform
each procedure manually and no monitoring of each SOP step was performed before entry
permission granted resulting in risk of unhealthy person entering the premise and infect others.
This innovation is designed to be compact, light, and easy to install (plug and play) so that it is
easy to use according to the suitability of the environment and place, does not burden the
shopkeeper and is more commercially valuable. This innovation is also very user -friendly
where it allows shopkeepers to use rechargeable batteries, battery power banks or electrical
sockets to turn on all programs. Touchless Smart Barrier (TSB) 2.0 in overall, will give a great
benefit to human being in facilitating human tasks and reducing covid-19 infections. TSB gives
a positive impact to the public to meet government requirement to comply with the SOP. TSB
familiarizes at the same time, enforces people with new norms that need to be practiced without
negligence, take it easy and be more responsible. TSB can also be applied to control the amount
of inbound movement at theme parks, carnivals or expos conducted on a large scale.

Nowadays, the citizen desires many products which will enhance their health. Today, many
Malaysian people have been suffering from cancers such as breast cancer. As a result, the
mortality rate of people suffering from this cancer is increasing from year to year. In order to
solve the problem, we have found a solution to prevent breast cancer by using Strobilanthus
Crispus leaves. We use these leaves to make our drink product called "Leafcure". Leafcure is
a drink product. This product is used as a supplement. In our research, we found that Leafcure
can give many good effects to the people who drink it. It is because, it contains many flavonoids
and alkaloid to the body. Flavonoid and alkaloid are from the Strobilanthus Crispus leaves.
Based on the results of this study, it was shown that there are many positive effects in various
of aspect. This drink has a high potential to kill cell cancers because it has flavonoid and
alkaloid. In conclusion, breast cancer has a potential to prevent breast cancer from occurs. In
addition, “Leafcure" can give many benefits to the community.

As a rapidly growing country, Malaysia is relatively backward in its progress in terms of
transportation and automotive development. Developed countries such as China and United
States have been able to expand their vehicle system to the next level, namely auto drive system
while Malaysia still can’t do that because of our national financial problems. The average salary
of the people is only around RM2000 to RM3000 which leads to their failure to support the
products of the countries. To solve the problem mentioned an automotive car is created to make
sure Malaysian products also can use auto drive system at a cheaper price. This system built to
facilitate users when tired of driving hence directly solves the problem of slow development in
transportation. Initially from the research 80 percent of accidents are caused by human. From
the statement system development using computer wisdom is safer. According to the prototype
provided this autonomous car functions is by detecting the lane of the road and driving
according to the lane hence the car also will automatically stop when there is no lane detected.
From the system developed, the improvement in terms of lack of accident cases increased and
improving the progress of the Malaysian automotive system. The result shows positive impact
hence saves the end user in a lot of aspects. To conclude the problem of slow development
from the transportation sector and the problem of accidents caused by human such as
drowsiness is solved with the innovated automotive car. By developing the auto drive system,
it can reduce accident cases as well as develop the country’s transportation sector.

The most important aspect when breeding fish in aquarium or pond is controlling the water
cleanliness. It needs to be kept clean and free of any bacteria. In addition to changing the water
regularly, there are some maintenances you need to take note of to ensure the fish is always in
a healthy condition. It takes time and more careful while changing the water to avoid dead fish.
There are many products on the market to ensure the cleanliness of the pond water, however
the chemicals used will cause side effects on the fish. To overcome this problem, our group

pokok ketapang. In addition to maintaining the cleanliness of the pool, it can also control the
pH of the water and able to treat wounds on fish and prevent the fish from getting sick from
parasites, bacterial pathogens and even fungi on fish. The combination of ingredients is placed
in a specific pack for the convenience of the user. It will absorb dirt in the fishpond and keep
the pond clean for longer. It's easy to use which just put the pack into water. This method is
very easy to use without the need for specific skills and tools. It has various sizes for different
type or ponds. This pack is also easy to wash and can be used repeatedly. The results obtained
from this innovation product can facilitate fish breeders to reduce water conversion too often
and saving time because the used of this product can control or slow down the process of water
greenness. Besides that it also controlled water pH for fish because water pH is very important
for aquatic life. Based on the results, this product can control the quality of water liked clarity,

This is a cooperation project between JMTI with AKTY Technologies Sdn. Bhd. From few
discussions between JMTI and AKTY company has resulted in designing a machine on how
to improve the purification process of ferrite-based products. The ferrite-based products from
the cutting process need to be cleaned using isopropyl alcohol (IPA). This process is needed to
wash away the cutting cooling effect from the coolant and ferrite-burr. Washing is done
manually by shaking wire-meshed basket in isopropyl alcohol (IPA) solution. Workers who
work 8 hours a day, will be exposed to the side effects of isopropyl alcohol used and easily
becomes fatigue especially in the hands after continuing shaking the basket. Problems that
arose are worker safety issues, inconsistent timing, and quality of the cleaned products.
Furthermore, automatic shaking machine is designed to minimize safety issues to workers who
perform cleaning work manually and increase productivity by reducing re-work. The objectives
of this project are to build a shaker machine for cleaning process done automatically. Workers
will no longer exposed to the dangers of chemical solution. In turn, this machine is capable of
increasing productivity by shortening the product washing time below 10 minutes in one wash.
The overall system is controlled by a Programmable Logic Controller. The washing process
uses an Ultrasonic generator, and the sifting process uses the principle of cam and follower
movement. Two ways normally closed (NC) solenoid valve will control the flow of water into
the machine. The washing time and speed can be adjusted according to the desired process.
This machine can do cleaning 2000 pieces of product per cycle and has been tested at AKTY
Sdn Bhd's factory for 6 months and the results are the cleaning process can be done
automatically, workers are no longer exposed to chemical solutions during the product cleaning
process, the purification time is shortened from 10 minutes to 7 minutes per cycle and no more
re-work is done. This machine has been used in AKTY Sdn. Bhd. and the productivity of the
cleaning process has increased by 20%.

The most important aspect when breeding fish in aquarium or pond is controlling the water
cleanliness. It needs to be kept clean and free of any bacteria. In addition to changing the water
regularly, there are some maintenances you need to take note of to ensure the fish is always in
a healthy condition. It takes time and more careful while changing the water to avoid dead fish.
There are many products on the market to ensure the cleanliness of the pond water, however

Nowadays, as we can see there's so many wastes around the world. This product is one of the
effective ways to reduce waste. Compost is the process of decomposing organic matter
resulting from food waste and raw materials. We use aerobic composing method which only
uses food waste in one container and mixed with soil and water as support media to speed up
the composting process can take place naturally. Smart bio plant is the project we develop using
composite soil and using internet of thing. This project can be use inside or outside of our
house, it is eco-friendly and save to use because it is using an organic fertilizer. compost
fertilizer is using all the waste together with parser and keep for certain period. In our project
we will insert TDS sensor inside the compost to measure the level of nutrient produced by the
compost. TDS sensor will read the nutrient level and send data to our database in cloud server.
Second, the plant system itself as you can see in the video. TDS sensor will detect the nutrient
inside the compose. Then, will send notification to cloud server. Next, the water will be pump
if the soil is dry. Water level sensor will detect if the water amount is decreasing and send the
data to cloud server. That' the time when we need to refill our water again. the data show up
the first week of testing the baja compost by using the TDS sensor. We only going to dip it
inside the beaker and see the results. This is the first week of testing our compost using TDS
sensor. Now let’s move to second week and repeat the same step just like the first one.as it
showed a little bit higher than the first week. For the third week let’s check up the results. As
you can see it getting higher than last week progress. Next for the fourth week the results
showed a bit different from the last week where the improvement still in the process. For the
second last week dip inside the beaker and wait for the result. It is not a big different from the
fourth week but let’s move to the final week. And it showed a big improvement than the others
week and that is the result for testing the nutrients of compost. Lastly, our expected result are
the plants will grow faster, safer and cost effective. housewives, dining hall operators, eatery
operators are the ones who are more likely to use the project we are proposing because the
price is affordable and widely to be market in global.

It is generally known that TVET is a skills-based vocational education created as an alternative
for academically weak students. In line with this effort, Intelligent Board 2.0 (IB2.0) has been
designed to support and as the initiative to empower TVET. IB2.0 is a single box containing
cable routes, electrical accessories base, electrical fittings, loads, current protection devices and
power supply. Based on their own desired design, users may begin wiring process by selecting
the appropriate cable route and accessories base. Once completed, user can proceed with the
dead circuit test to ensure that the circuit is correctly connected, otherwise, correction could be
made quickly as this device is able to immediately detect errors. Next, user need to connect the
board to the installed power supply and the results can be seen instantly. Easier, faster, fun and
engaging. Students would have more time to focus on understanding the whole lessons by
reducing time wastage on completing the task, and this is beneficial for both teachers and
students to cope with current PDPR education system during the pandemic. It allows and
motivating students to creatively design their own wiring circuits continuously without
incurring cost because it is reusable. This IB2.0 is a solution to the problems and difficulties
arose by the usage of large -sized, non -portable conventional wiring bays, ample workspace
requirements, long waiting time to get results and high cost due to the high usage of PVC cables
and wiring accessories to complete at least 12 exercises as per requirement. By using this board,
cost of cables and wiring accessories could be reduced by 59% (RM 1360) per year as it is
reusable. IB2.0 is also seen able to improve students' wiring skills whereas the assessment
results show that more students achieve excellent marks than before. Meanwhile, by using IB
2.0, the students managed to save 92% of their learning hours to complete the 12 wiring
projects.

Eggshells Pot

Eggs are frequently used as one of the ingredients in the preparation of Malaysian food. Almost
every household contributes to the disposal of eggshells in Malaysia. Therefore, eggshells have
become common useless domestic wastes that need to be overcome. They are commonly
disposed together with other domestic wastes and sometimes become a place for vectors to
grow. However, eggshells are biodegradable and the chemical compositions in them can
provide nutrients to the soil. Our project is focusing on the advantages of calcium carbonate
found in eggshells for plants. The eggshell pot is an innovation that using eggshells which can
indirectly provide the benefits of calcium carbonate towards the plants growing in it. The
eggshell pot aims to provide a readily nutritional pot that can balance the pH of the soil by
neutralising the acidity in it and bring back the soil to its best condition for the plant to grow.
The calcium carbonate in the eggshell pot will encourage roots to grow deeper and quicker thus
encouraging the growth of plants in the pot. The eggshell pot is made up of cement as the outer
layer and the mixture of fine eggshells powder with tapioca starch as the inner layer. The
cement is used as the outer layer to strengthen and support the eggshell pot as eggshells are
weak and cannot stand on their own. The tapioca starch is used to stick the eggshells powder
together and to prevent the eggshells from fall off the cement. The eggshell pot is dried under
the sun before putting the soil in it. Plants in the eggshell pot grow healthier and faster
compared to in the normal pot. In conclusion, the use of eggshell pot will eventually help the
plants to grow healthier with strong roots, beautiful green coloured leaves and good chlorophyll
components for the absorption of sunlight for photosynthesis.

Heatstroke in a vehicle. Hyperthermia. The disastrous consequences of leaving a kid in a hot
car unattended. It's every parent's worst nightmare, but it happens on a regular basis. The
tragedy can occur practically anywhere, and while the risk is usually higher during the summer,
the conditions underlying child vehicular heatstroke are diverse. In this day, hot car deaths are
a common occurrence. Baby in car reminder (BBCar) is an innovative device that provide
parents with a simple, integrated, and reliable way to help alert presence of their child in the
back seat when they leave their vehicles. It is a simple, compact, and low-cost device. It can be
placed at the vehicle’s interior roof where any kind of sound can be easily detected. It is an
ingenious alarm system that reminds the user four different times consecutively that there’s a
kid sitting in the back seat. In addition, this alarm system can notify the user if a baby or a
toddler remains in a car seat after the car is turned off. It has a built-in sim card slot that syncs
with a smartphone, sends an alert message, and make a call to the user. Using a sound-based
sensor, BBCar uses slightly different technology than the other devices as it uses sounds to
detect unattended kid left in a car. This idea arose after looking at the rise in the numbers of
hot car death incidents in Malaysia. Child death due to being left in the car has become a major
problem in well developed countries. A child's body heats up 3-5 times faster than an adult,
and the inside of a car can reach dangerous temperatures in minutes. As a conclusion, BBcar
is an innovative tool that has the capability lower the number of hot car deaths among children
in Malaysia. BBcar is a model that can alert the caregiver if there is an unattended kid left in
the car and save the lives our precious babies.

Nowadays, most of Biology and Science students are having a hard time to learn about viruses
as most of schools do not have an electron microscope. Viruses can only be seen under electron
microscope. Most of the schools in Malaysia do not spend money to buy electron microscope
as they cost a lot of money. This will cause the students to have a hard time learning about
minute creatures like viruses. To help the students to learn easier about viruses and their details,
these sculptures are created to solve the problem. By creating these sculptures, students can
learn and see the details of viruses by using their naked eyes without having the school to buy
the electron microscope. In schools, students learn about viruses by looking at the pictures or
watching videos on the internet. Although viruses can be observed under electron microscope,
but not many schools can afford to have the microscope. From the justification, these sculptures
are created to help students to learn by seeing the viruses using their naked eyes. By using the
sculptures, the students’ knowledge about viruses will improve and it could hype the learning
environment in class. The results show positive impact hence indirectly saves the environment
as most of the sculptures are created by using daily wastes. To conclude, the problem is solved,
and students can learn more effectively by using the sculptures. The sculptures also could be
one of teachers’ teaching aids.

This water generator is a renewable technology that can produce electric energy from water
source through water turbine that can convert main source into a clean electric. As a result, it
is useful to decrease the rate of wastage electric power and can reduce the payment for electric
monthly bill. From our observation, this generator can assist us to reside in a peaceful and
quieten environment because of its soundless production. This generator can also know as a
greenhouse technology because of its supportiveness in lowing the amount of pollutions such
as odor pollution and sound pollution. The creation of this Smart Water Generator can solve
the problem of many electricity bills. It was found that at night when consumers want to water
their crops outside the house area, they need to turn on the lights. This causes an increase in
electricity consumption and causes bill payments to increase. So, with the Smart Water
Generator users only need to water and the lights resulting from water erosion from the Smart
Water Generator project will automatically open. Thus, the creation of Smart Water Generator
can solve the problem of electricity bills and save electricity consumption in the house. This
product can improve the air we breathe. Hydroelectric power plants don't release pollutants
into the air. They very frequently substitute the generation from fossil fuels, thus reducing acid
rain and smog. In addition to this, hydroelectric developments don't generate toxic by-products.
Other than that, it's feasible to utilize other renewable sources. Hydroelectric power plants with
accumulation reservoirs offer incomparable operational flexibility since they can immediately
respond to fluctuations in the demand for electricity. The flexibility and storage capacity of
hydroelectric power plants make them more efficient and economical in supporting the use of
intermittent sources of renewable energy, such as solar energy. In addition, this product could
renewable energy source. It uses the energy of running water, without reducing its quantity, to
produce electricity. Therefore, all hydroelectric developments, of small or large size, whether
run of the river or of accumulated storage, fit the concept of renewable energy. Our project will
not give side effects to the environment especially air pollution, but it contributes to the
environment such as being able to prevent increased water wastage. The project is for
everyone’s use but it is more for young people aged 20 to 45 years as young people use more
water than old people. Finally, we think that this project really be helping people with much
side and this project can help people with anything.

One of major problems facing by farmers after paddy harvesting season is getting rid of the
rice husk in the paddy field. The rice husk is a waste product during rice milling process. The
rice husk is commonly be burnt because that is the simplest way to dispose it. Unfortunately,
the combustion of the rice husk will cause air pollution and affect the air quality. Rice husk
contains high cellulose fibre and silica. Despite of this, the smoke produced can also cause road
accidents. To solve these problems, my team invented "Rice Husk Charcoal". This product will
give alternative on how to solve the disposal problem of rice husk. The rice husk charcoal is
an innovation in charcoal making industry which using rice husk ashes combined with tapioca
starch. The mixture is placed in a mold and burned in the oven. The usage of organic material
like tapioca starch making the charcoal chemical-free and cost effective. Besides the weight,
which is lighter, the burning of the rice husk charcoal releasing less smoke than common
charcoal. The finer the rice husk ashes the more compact the charcoal will be and the longer
the burning effect of the charcoal. This innovation helps to reduce the abundant of the rice husk
wastes in the paddy field hence indirectly solves the environmental problems such as reducing
air pollution. Initially, research was carried out to justify the capability of rice husk to be made
as an alternative for other common charcoal in the market. Besides reducing the rice husk
wastes, the rice husk charcoal can indirectly provide economical advantage to the farmers. As
a conclusion, the problems related to the abundance of rice husk waste in the paddy field can
be solved with this innovated product of rice husk charcoal.

Acoustic foam materials are installed at walls, ceilings, doors, and the floor of closed spaces
such as a room, recording studio, auditorium, cinema, ball room, etc. The porous structure of
acoustic foam material is beneficial to control noise and unwanted sound such as echoes,
shadows, resonances etc. as well as to mitigate sound transmission from one area to another.
However, conventional acoustic foam materials are made from a mixture of polyols and
isocyanates, a well-known cause of occupational asthma caused by high exposure at work
during manufacturing. This has raised awareness among users of the possibility that over time,
release toxic gases which may cause health hazards. Furthermore, with increased awareness of
the threat of global warming and fossil fuel depletion, as well as challenging waste management
and disposal problems, it is necessary to develop acoustic foam materials made from natural
materials. To address these issues, a novel acoustic foam material made from epoxidized
natural rubber (ENR) latex has been developed. The method and compositions of producing
ENR latex foam are currently protected under Patent Application Number PI2018700712. The
utilization of ENR latex to produce acoustic foam material has two functions. First, the porous
open-cell structure of the ENR latex foam is beneficial to absorb the unwanted sound or to
control echoes. Second, the intrinsic damping property of ENR due to the epoxy group in ENR
helps to dampen the noise propagation from one area to another. Hence, the ENR latex foam
produced is expected to serve as both sound absorber and sound insulator panels. In this work,
acoustic properties of the developed ENR latex foam have been evaluated through sound
transmission loss (STL), sound absorption coefficient (SAC) and noise reduction coefficient
(NRC) using impedance tube in accordance with ISO 10534-2 method. The study found that,
the STL is directly proportional to the thickness of the ENR latex foams. The SAC curve of
ENR latex foam was observed close to 1.0. Increasing the thickness of the foam material from
10 mm to 20 mm and to 40 mm increased the NRC value. This study also shown that ENR
latex can be used to produce acoustic foam material, without changing the existing latex foam
production technology. In comparison to petrochemical-based foam materials, ENR latex foam
shows excellent acoustic properties, and is also a “greener” material due to its natural origin,
ideal for sustainable building design.

To date, the imbalance between electrical energy supply and demand is a challenge for
sustainability. The demand created by the consumer for energy and the gradual shortage of
energy causes an issue and is being investigated within many sectors. Indeed, such is a crucial
issue for developing countries that could hamper development. The major consumer of energy
is the typical residential user, which is a collection of multiple segments of residences
consuming energy more than the commercial and industrial sectors. Considering this, an
intelligent system such as home automation is seen as a practicable tool to address the issue.
Nonetheless, the existing conventional energy monitoring system may be difficult to be
substituted with a smart meter. However, the need for an effective energy monitoring system
is vital to ensure energy utilization is maximized. Indeed, the smart metering system enables
significant energy conservation, which can control the supply and consumption. This research
work aims to design a smart meter as part of the residential energy consumption monitoring
system. It can be installed and operated at any selected residential premises, which follows the
residential tariff as regulated by Thailand’s Provincial Electricity Agency. It is deemed that the
system can provide a correct measure of consumed energy and anticipates the future use and
energy charges. The proposed system will be able to effectively provide the authority with real-
time data of user behavior. Also, the smart meter is equipped with a wireless communication
module to enable the user to remotely monitor the energy usage. In this research work, the
energy monitoring system is emulated in a lab with a controlled environment. The system is
built with a central server connected to the wireless meter node, continuously acquiring data
remotely. The energy consumption is recorded and any differences in energy saving are
recorded. Verification is made by comparing the data from the smart meter with the
conventional meter (PEA) used in Thailand for the residential sector. The voltage for both
meters is set to 220V to confirm with the local energy sector specification. In addition, the
charge is calculated using steady currents and interval times based on a residential tariff. As
expected, the results indicated that the average accuracy of smart meter energy consumption is
1.48%. On the other hand, the charge prediction is calculated at 0.02%. The results show that
the proposed smart meter has the potential for energy monitoring in Thailand.

Wind from Air Conditioning as Renewable Energy is a user-friendly product made to help
users affected by a high monthly electricity bill. This patented product is the first to market for
wind energy applications using air conditioning to provide a solution in reducing electricity
bills by using an existing wind source from air conditioning or air cool package. Energy
consumption in Malaysia is increasing every year which makes the energy generation cost is
also increasing. A high energy consumption means a high electricity bill which leads to a
decrease in industrial and commercial profit. Furthermore, if users are adopting a solar PV
system, a large and unshaded area is required for PV panel’s installation and it is a problem
with the limited space or area on industrial and commercial premises can provide, and the
expensive initial investment cost for solar PV systems reduces the number of users who can
benefit from renewable energy application. A stable wind velocity around 13m/s provides
continuous energy generation as renewable energy and is capable to produce 230 volts AC
from a 12/24 volts DC generated from the wind. A wind charge controller then converts 3-
phase AC to a 12/24V, 1-phase AC and it is connected to a charge controller which converts it
to a regulated 12/24V DC to charge the battery and the regulated voltage is channelled to an
inverter which inverts it to 230V, 50Hz AC and it is safely connected to consumer load. The
result obtained shows by using Wind from Air Conditioning as Renewable Energy product, it
produced expected energy from the wind turbine and this regulated voltage is charging the
battery bank when it is in operation. The output voltage which is connected to the consumer
load shows a continuous operation. In conclusion, Wind from Air Conditioning as Renewable
Energy product is an innovative product that can help users to reduce their high electricity bills.
Its patented design guaranteed users a tested and reliable solution and it is designed to be
installed on any type of outdoor air cool package.

Nowadays the mosque fund box is very easy to steal because in terms of a less effective security
system. The design of the mosque fund box also plays a major factor to avoid stealing. For this
common issue to be settled and to be solved, there is a need to design a convenient and
affordable money box for the communities, especially among the mosque communities. The
desire of users to find a cheap security money box is kept on demand. Intelligent Security
Money Box is suggested and created to step down the problem which is the theft of mosque
funds. This innovation project will have included features such as an alert directly to the owner
or person in charge of that money box. Besides that, this innovation will include an alarm to
alert the surroundings if the money box is being taken away. Basically, we are trying to create
a low-cost product with high-end specifications of security. In this project, we use GSM
Module 900A which has a SIM card in it to send SMS to the mosque committee. When there
is a mosque money box theft case, GSM Module 900A will send an SMS and then the alarm is
triggered inside the mosque. This system of the product also will help the people surround the
money box to be much alerted as this system is complete with an alarm to alert the surrounding.
Besides that, it will help the authorities as once the money box being taken away the SMS will
be solid proof about when the crime scene happens as this system is a real-time-based system
(SMS). It is a convenient security product as this product only required the user to have a cell
phone to receive security SMS. If someone cuts off the main supply, the system will continue
to secure the box even without the main supply as this system is complete with UPS. Immediate
action also can be taken by the owner or person in charge of that Intelligent Security Money
Box as the SMS directly tell them everything. Features in this system such as alarm will keep
ringing and will alert the surrounding will create a good community to stop the theft case among
mosque money fund boxes.

Microsoft Excel is a common form of software used to record transactions or financial
transactions for small businesses and students who take the subjects of entrepreneurship,
accounting and who run programs under incubators or technopreneurs. In addition, business
documentation such as quotations, invoices, and delivery orders are the types of documents
used due to the simplicity and automatic calculation. There are various formats of business
documents prepared by them according to their business nature or requirement. The problem
that arises is that users have to fill in the information manually in the excel software, which
causes problems in terms of time and method of delivery or printing as well as research. Smart
Auto Financial Document Microsoft Excel reduces information filling time, speeds up the
transmission and printing of the information, and facilitates document search. Smart Auto
Financial Document has three documentation formats, namely quotation, invoice, and order
delivery, related to each other. This system enables users to accelerate filling out documents
by utilizing a standard format that multiple firms or users may apply. Smart Auto Financial
Document can help students, entrepreneurs, or contractors who face difficulties finding a
suitable business document format and speed up preparing documents such as quotations,
invoices, or delivery orders. Speed up the transmission and printing of information and
facilitate document search. This project used the observation through 11 students of Diploma
in Technopreneurship (Electrical), MARA Seberang Perai Utara Skills Institute, who had
difficulty preparing relevant documents such as quotations, invoices, and order delivery. Based
on this problem, the form is design using Excel Macro VBA coding to overcome these issues.
The development of innovation projects can positively impact entrepreneurs, contractors, or
students where it facilitates the preparation of quotation documents, invoices, and delivery
orders. It will speed up the process of preparing the document with the use of technology today.
It's concluded that Smart Auto Financial Document can help students, entrepreneurs, or
contractors who face difficulties finding a suitable business document format and speed up
preparing documents such as quotations, invoices, or delivery orders. Speed up the
transmission and printing of information and facilitate document search.

Evolution of Intelligent IoT Socket System

The evolution of an intelligent Internet of Things (IoTs) socket system for safety consumption
is presented in this paper. Currently, an outlet socket is an essential electrical wiring component
that is required in every structure, store, factory, and shop, as well as at home. An outlet socket,
also known as a domestic alternating current (AC) socket, is a device that uses an electrical
connector with a piling pin known as a plug to connect electrical equipment to the building's
main power supply. The problem arises when a single outlet socket is connected to multiple
electrical appliances on the same socket and it becomes more serious and concerning when it
involves appliances with high current capacity such as toasters, kettles, and similar items. As a
result, the outlet socket cannot accommodate high current for an extended period, hence, it may
cause fire and loss of lives. Therefore, this project was to be introduced to solve that problem
which is implemented by using Node MCU ESP8266 alongside a current sensor. A current
sensor detects an excessive current load on an outlet socket that has been set to a specific value
based on a safe level of consumption. Meanwhile, Node MCU ESP8266 sends an alert
notification to of the users’ or the building owner’s smart phones such as a landlord, from a
current sensor with excess current load on an outlet socket. A buzzer and a hazard light are
installed in the outlet socket to warn users if there is an excessive current load. If one outlet
socket, for example, is set at 13A, the system’s alarm will be activated if it is connected to more
than one load and its current value exceeds 13A. Current sensor will send a signal to Node
MCU ESP8266. After the information is processed, the signal will be sent to a building owner’s
cell phone. Indirectly, users will be aware of the excess usage of one of the outlet sockets is
occurring at their buildings or homes by sending the notification alerts to cell phones via Wi-
Fi. In a nutshell, the innovation system aims to increase user awareness, particularly among
renters, premises, buildings, or factories. As a result, the community benefits from this
innovation system, which has a significant impact on self-safety.

In this era of globalization, the problem of uncertainty and economic development is increasing. The
project started with a complaint from someone who was doing painting work on the building. After
finishing the painting work, the paint rollers should be cleaned. The washing method also looks quite
messy because the hands will be dirty from squeezing the paint rollers. "Paint Roller Cleaning Device",
where the project will strive to help users clean their paint rollers to prevent users from buying or using
too many paint rollers, and savings can be generated. In addition, safety in terms of water splashes and
paint on limbs such as eyes can be avoided. Painting work, especially painting the walls of a house or
building, often requires paint rollers because of the large number of workers and the variety of colours
used. The type of oil paint that will be used as well as washing after use will take a long time. If the
paint roller is not washed, it will harden and become damaged. From the observations made, most users
wash these paint rollers by soaking and washing them with water or thinner and squeezing them by
hand only. But in this entry, I would like to share a collection of paint brush washer designs that are
very innovative and can simplify the task of painting. In planning a project, the characteristics of the
project produced must be in accordance with market requirements, user-friendly and profitable. The
focus of this design is more on paint rollers, measuring 180mm long and 80mm wide, and easy to
operate. This tool does not damage the original structure of the paint roller even if it experiences friction
while washing it. However, the project has undergone durability testing so that its use is safe to use.
Among the analyses performed are the Von Mises Stress Test, which determines whether the Paint
Roller Cleaning Device's design can withstand a certain load. The unit for measuring the Von Mises
Stress Test is the MPa (Mega Pascal) load value of 5 N (Newton) applied to a rotating tab supporting
the base surface, and the Von Misses Stress Test reading shows 0.0483791 MPa. Therefore, this design
is very strong and durable when receiving the applied load. Finite Element testing and analysis that has
been done on this Paint Roller Cleaning Device is safe to use by users. This Paint Roller Cleaning Tool
can cultivate a person to do the job more cleanly and tidy. In addition, users can work more skill fully,
can save time, and their hands do not get stained when cleaning the paint roller. Always train yourself
to always know how to work neatly and be able to spend prudently. This can indirectly motivate a
person to work more efficiently and innovatively.

In the Anatomy of the human body, the Knee is considered as a Primary part which handles
most physical body movements and holds the whole-body weight. A portable and lightweight
type of product which can be carried about to anywhere for the usage is considered for design
and construction. The project is focused on reducing the physical weight wherein, PVC body
material and micro components have been used in the construction to enhance the operational
needs of Series Elastic Actuator (SEA) knee rehabilitation device. SEA is the perfect actuator
that can be customized accordingly to overcome the problems faced. SEA knee rehabilitation
device is light in weight since the components used are micro sized and easier to be handled.
Light weighted device which allows the user to carry it around to anywhere Apart from that,
the device has some simple mechanism to function. Initially, research was carried out to
determine what type of actuator can be customized accordingly to achieve the desired results,
PROMPTING Series Elastic actuator to be chosen. The servo motor is used can be controlled
with a PROGRAMMABLE microprocessor. The design for this SEA knee rehabilitation
device was done to have a guide on body shape of this device with the components and spring’s
locations to achieve the desired outcome. From the developed product, the spring stiffness of
10kN/m gives an approximated range of motion (ROM) for extension of about 69.22 degrees
while for flexion is 17.44 degrees by angle sensor while the torque reading taken for this device
is 1.3942Nm. To conclude, the problem faced by the people in Malaysia for concerns of knee
rehabilitation therapy to heal knee injuries and strengthen the knee could be effectively solved
using this handy development sea knee rehabilitation, which is comparably lightweight,
portable, higher range of motion, good torque for knee, user friendly, simple mechanism, low
maintenance and home friendly.

Nowadays, the citizen desires a product or any automatic hand wash system which will enhance
the lifestyle, especially due to the pandemic of Covid-19. Auto WDS Machine is a great
alternative to the conventional ones because it doesn't require any interaction. The current
practice of hand washing does not provide a measurable platform to slow down the spreading
of viruses or bacteria. This is because people in a public place or even in the toilet have been
touched the item that may be frequently touched by others. Otherwise, each item for hand
washing practice must be bought separately. To stop a chain of transmission of Covid-19, Auto
WDS Machine is to test automatic hand wash system. WDS stands for wash, dry and sanitize.
There are four functions of hand washing process which is hand gel dispenser, water dispenser,
hand dryer and hand sanitizer. It’s created to eliminate a contact point and to save time due to
hand washing process. This project is more advanced than the conventional hand wash because
it will cater the current practice by providing an automatic system in the machine which has
completed hand washing items. In addition, this innovative project is kind of a portable
machine. It can be used in a public place and is a good facility for others to keep their hand
clean. Initially, research was carried out to justify the conventional hand wash which requires
people to apply this current hand washing system on their own. From the justification, this
device was developed to dispense a specific amount of hand washing liquid which is hand gel
and water on the user’s hand when placed under an infrared sensor as the first and second steps
respectively. Next, users will use the hand dryer before sanitizing their hands. Furthermore, by
using this machine people can save time because the process takes around 1 minute 10 seconds.
Means users can apply all hand washing processes within the time that had been set in the
system of this machine. From the product developed, the improvement of this machine will
help people to apply the automatic system in washing their hands without using physical
contact. Besides, the result of this project shows a positive impact in saving time of hand
washing process compared to conventional practice. To conclude, the current practice to wash
hands is solved with the innovated Auto WDS Machine hence improves people to clean the
hand automatically in a proper way and saving time as well.

A baby weighing scale is all too common these days, doctors and nurses desires a product that
can save time during baby measurements, simplify consumer affairs, and easy to use. There
are some problems which the process takes a lot of time as they must move the baby to a
different place to get the measurement. Besides, the workload for the medical assistant
increases because the baby weighing scale use in the medical centre usually that cannot give
BMI calculation. Manual calculations must be done to get the reading. Medical centre jobs also
become more difficult when they had to shift infant’s location to take the measurement and
make infant’s feel uncomfortable. To solve the problems of doctors and nurses, our project is
to upgrade the baby weighing scales that are currently on the hospital by adding new features
and functions such as measuring the baby’s height, weight, and calculating the baby’s BMI at
the same time. This innovation project can solve the problem by to develop a portable baby
weighing scale with BMI measurement. Next, to test a device that can measure weight, height,
and BMI simultaneously at the same time. Lastly, to reduce the time consumption for hospital
staff to get the baby's weight, height and BMI measurement. This is the step on how to use it,
first, start the device and then put baby on Multiple Infant’s Measurement Device? If no, this
device will return to start. If yes, the device will continue to measure the weight and height. To
measure weight using load cell sensor and to measure height using ultrasonic sensor. Next,
send the program to Arduino and process on coding. Lastly, display the height, weight and
BMI on LCD display and then end the device. From the product developed can help doctors
and nurses to get the baby BMI in short period time. The result shows positive impact because
this innovation project is effectiveness of reducing the time to make measurements of the baby,
faster results and makes it easy to record the developmental stage of the baby.

Nowadays, patient need a product that can give reminder to take medicine on time to be able
recover more quickly and can store medicine safely so that it does not disappear. The problems
faced by patient are forgetting to take medicine on time and medicine storage problems. This
will affect the patient because not taking the medicine as directed by the doctor and will cause
the patient to slowly recover from the disease. To solve the problems mentioned, portable smart
pillbox was created to remind the patient take medications on time and be able store the
medicine much better. This product will alert the patient to take the medication at the set time
via the sound of the buzzer and reminder via SMS sent directly to the patient. Initially, research
was conducted to identify problems faced by patient regarding non-timely medication intake
and unorganized medication storage. From justification, this product was developed based on
warning features to enable patient to be more sensitive to their medication intake as well as
more patient storage of patient medication to avoid medication loss problems. To use this
portable smart pillbox, must set the time of taking the medicine using an application connected
via Bluetooth and place the medicine in the container provided. Each medicine container will
be locked in safety purposes from taking the wrong type of medicine and have LED as an
indicator to the medicine in the container that needs to be taken. When it is time to take the
medicine, buzzer will sound, SMS will be sent, LED will light up and the container will be
unlocked to allow the patient to take the medicine. After takes the medicine, the patient must
press the button to unlock the medicine container. From the developed portable smart pillbox,
patient will be able to take medication at the time prescribed by the doctor and be able to store
medication better. The results showed a positive effect on patient such as reducing the risk of
the disease becoming worse and being able to recover quickly. To conclude, taking medication
that is not on time and careless medication storage among patient can be solved with this
innovation product to improve the practice of taking medication on time set by patient and
medication storage more carefully by patient as well as give many benefits to patient so that
they recover quickly.

Potential Detection of Covid-19 by VOC in
Exhaled Breath

COVID-19 is such an alarming situation in Malaysia and there is still no specific treatment to
cure this virus. Available test like the RT-PCR is such a hassle since it requires a complex
procedure. COVID-19 can spread through air transmission, when exhaling while doing
activities such as quiet breathing, speaking, and sneezing. It will produce respiratory fluids
droplets that are available in various sizes which can be known as volatile organic compound
(VOC). In a closed room, VOC gasses that are produced by human that contains carbon dioxide
(CO2) droplets will be trapped, the higher VOC produced, the higher probability of its
spreading COVID-19 viruses through air. It is hazardous if someone that are positive with
COVID-19 without they realizing it are in this room. VOC carries droplets that able to transmit
infection to the whole room and making the other person in the same room getting infected.
Additionally, if the saturation of oxygen (SpO2) reading result of the person below 95%then
the probability of the person might have COVID-19 is higher. To tackle this problem, a product
that measures the Co2, tVOC produced from an exhaled breath and the SpO2 of a person in
just a test and it can cater the problem of total VOC produced from a person exhalation that
might carry COVID-19 viruses transmit through air in a closed room and infecting another
person is created. It is developed with CCS811 which function as an air sensor that will be used
to detect exhaled VOC that contains Co2 and MAX30100 which will be functioning as pulse
oximeter that will be reading the SpO2 of a person. User only needs to blow their breath on
provided air tube and place their finger into the hole that contains pulse oximeter and result
will be obtained. From this product, it will curb down the arising problem hence save the end
user in a lot of aspect by its positive outcome. To conclude, the VOC that might carry COVID-
19 viruses and might infect another person is solved with this innovated product and it can help
in improving the health and safety quality of people.

English Language educators in vocational institutions look for ways to improve their teaching
and learning process in order to enhance the language proficiency among vocational trainees.
Primarily, vocational trainees are more involved in practical activities which are occupation-
specific as the aim of vocational education is to prepare students for the industry. Since the
trainees need to be actively involved in both practical and theory learning process, learning a
second language seems to be an uphill task for the trainees as they must focus more on hands-
on skills to enhance their competencies compared to lecture and test. This study attempts to
equip student with “tools” for an effective reading skill in ESL context for a successful
participation not only in their learning process but also in industrial field. This is in-line with
DMAIC method in Lean Six Sigma which is capable to improve efficacy in curriculum. The
novelty of this invention is applying the method orderly as to improve reading skills through
systematic comprehension in reading materials either for professional or personal purposes.
Exposure to TKQAC Model can enhance the trainee’s metacognitive strategies in every written
communication especially in the context of safety, health, and environment. Once students start
reading, they will go through five steps. Firstly, they find central message or main idea in the
first reading which they will tick in the box. Next, they will focus on keywords, 4-6 words
ideally, which is related to main topic, or which is used repeatedly, again they will tick in the
box. Besides that, as they read, they form questions or look at the questions if it’s for assessment
hence, ticking in the box. Subsequently, students will get/write answers logically based on the
keywords as they tick in the box as well. Finally, our vocational trainees verify the answers by
giving a tick in the box on the special ruler. The results of this study showed that applying
TKQAC strategy with the usage of special ruler has a positive impact on improving their
English reading comprehension regardless of the type of their learning background. In the
vocational context, the teaching and learning should be guided with a systematic reading model
as a simulation for tactile methods.

Table setting is a compulsory skill that all culinary arts students from vocational colleges in
Malaysia must master. Table setting is a technical term used in the food service industry to set
the tables for all dining occasions formal or casual with complete flatware, cutlery, glassware,
dinnerware, and napkin. All students must be competent in placing the correct utensils
according to the menu served, either table d'hôte or a la carte. One of the students’ weaknesses
in learning this skill is they have difficulties in memorizing the arrangement in the correct
order. To deal with the problem, a teaching aid made of a thick cardboard known as TS-Board
is designed to aid students in memorizing the arrangement of the utensils and dinnerware pieces
for the table setting in the correct order. The TS-Board works as a template of the actual table
setting layout. It has the outlines of the utensils and dinnerware pieces used for the table setting
that varies for each occasion. Each outline is labelled with the name of the utensils, and they
are numbered in the correct sequence. Students will have to place each utensil and dinnerware
piece on the outlines of the template in the correct order as labelled. From the observation,
100% students were able to acquire the skill faster when using the TS-Board in the process of
teaching and learning. This proves that the TS-Board is helpful for students to become
competent in the skill of table setting. This innovative product can be commercialized using a
more durable and easier to handle materials for example high density polyethylene, aluminium,
and stainless-steel board. TS-Board can be widely used for all levels of students not only in the
vocational colleges but also in higher institutional learning and any related food service
industries.

Development Of Laundry Pro Assistant Using
IoT Solution

It is only right as engineering students like us to create useful innovation. There have been
some issues circling around multiple-user washing machine. Modern technology problems can
only be resolved with more advance solutions. Thus, we are using our IoT system-based project
to lessen the worry when using it. Problems when using community-shared washing machine
have been popping up wearisomely. The first one, people that currently using the washing
machine often come late to collect their clothes. The second problem is the throwing out of
clothes that are inside the washing machine by next user in line. Our system uses IoT system
to ensure the time on controller’s timer and the Blynk’s timer will synchronize. Consumer can
control the lid lock of the washer with a virtual button. LED and LCD display convey a sign
and a text of user’s arrival which is activated by pressing the other virtual button. Each feature
has its own distinctive function. The on-apps timer will help people to monitor the remaining
time of the process, with notifications reminding them. The virtual button on Blynk apps can
unlock and lock the lid anytime. Clothes will be kept safe. Moreover, they can use wait button
on their way to the laundry. User can notify other users upcoming arrival. Start off by opening
our project's interface on Blynk apps. Internet connection is crucial. Insert clothes, lock the lid
via virtual buttons, select the program and press ‘start’. The synchronization between the time
on washer's controller and the Blynk timer begins. As the time approaching the last 3 minutes,
they will start getting notifications. One notification will pop up for each remaining minutes.
The wait button will light up LED together with the text-written LCD display. When cleaning
process ends, they will receive five consecutive notifications as the last resort. They can collect
their clothes by unlocking the lid lock. The result, a better environment will be present on the
laundry. The two problems will no longer lead to a bigger chaos. Better experience of using
multiple users washing machine can arise. The delay of 0 to 2 seconds can be dealt with fast
internet connection. As a conclusion, those problems that we justify can be resolved with the
presence of a futuristic project like ours. Hence, it will bring peace to the heart of the
community, every time they use the washing machine.

Development Of Voice Thermometer Using
Raspberry Pi

The COVID-19 coronavirus has spread to Malaysia. As a result, the government and the public
worked together to stop the virus. So far, the government has enforced social distancing and
identified high-temperature people. With the help of an IoT IFTTT webhook, our project
developed automated identity, temperature, and attendance monitoring tools. Due to the hot
weather and the Covid 19 outbreak in Malaysia, all students must take their temperature every
quarter enter it into a google form. Some students may not submit data in the Google form due
to lack of internet access or forgetting to bring a device. So, it affects the schedule's success
rate. Following the temperature measurement schedule, staff must manually enter all student
data into the database. To do this, a staff member must enter data for approximately all students.
Our project is to create a Voice Thermometer using Raspberry Pi, a temperature sensor, and
RFID to link student names with their temperatures automatically. Because our system can
automatically detect valid users' temperatures, an alert will be sent if their temperature exceeds
a specific limit staff will also be notified in real-time to prevent further infection. Our product
can also automatically export data to excel, saving time. Initially, research was done to
determine the product uses mlx906 and a raspberry pi to detect a student's temperature and
store it in a database server. The mlx906 temperature sensor alerts the raspberry pi when the
temperature rises. If the threshold is exceeded, an email notification will be sent to the person
in charge, notifying them of their temperature. The product records a new identity for the new
card RFID or overwrites it in the first file. Attendance with temperature is the second. Then
students must touch their RFID to scan temperature when required. Our product will
automatically enter student names and temperatures. Staff can export the database to excel for
later review. Our product will alert staff if a high temperature is detected, reducing the risk of
someone not reporting it. The outcome benefits both staff and students. Staff must, for example,
check each student's temperature to ensure their safety. Finally, prevent Covid 19 from
spreading in the institute and affecting student life. It will be solved by developing a Voice
Thermometer with Raspberry Pi. This product automatically records data when students use it.
It alerts staff if a high temperature is detected, improving safety, and saving time.
