Heated Towel Rails

Multiflex Wiring Explained

Multiflex wiring means there is a range of different wiring options within the one heated towel rail so
the wiring can be decided at the time of installation. The wiring options available are either the top
or the bottom of the rail, on the left or right hand side, making it possible to come from any of the
four mounting points. Wiring can also be exposed (plug in) or concealed (hard wired).

Top & Bottom Wiring

Wiring connection points come as standard at the Due to being a dry element rail this can be turned
base of the unit. over/upside down (there is no difference between the
top and bottom) and have the connection points at the
Left & Right Hand Wiring top of the unit.

The unit has wiring connection points on both the left and The lead can be easily plugged into the desired side
right hand side and the lead comes as a separate part. during installation.

Concealed & Exposed Wiring

The Thermorail can be hardwired (concealed) through Alternatively, the Thermorail can have exposed wiring
one of the mounting legs providing a clean sleek look. which allows the wiring to come out the base of one of
the mounting legs on the side closest to the wall and
get plugged into a power point.

ET12C Eco Timer

The Eco Timer is a simple timing device designed to go behind the switch plate (supplied with the timer). The timer
operates on a 12 hour schedule meaning it will be on at the same time morning and evening each day of the week. The
programmed time can be selected for a period from 1 to 11 hours and three heat settings can be selected: 50%, 75%
or 100%.

Unique to Jeeves, AHT is an intelligent, convenient and energy efficient method
of heating bathroom rails which allows you to experience the luxury of a heated
towel rail without the need for a manual temperature control or complex digital
control panels. Jeeves heated towel rails include a built-in thermostat that is
designed to automatically respond to temperature changes and ensure a safe
heat level and automatically regulate energy consumption.

Liquid Filled

The Jeeves heated towel rails are liquid filled with an electric element. This
allows you to enjoy the benefits of even heat distribution and no ultra-hot spots
under the towels without the difficulty of installation associated with a standard
hydronic heated towel rail.

Energy Savings

The built-in thermostat on the Jeeves heated towel rail automatically regulates
the power consumption. Due to the cyclical consumption practice the Jeeves
heated towel rail, even when on, will not necessarily draw power which results in
less energy consumption than is needed to run a standard light bulb!

Effortless Control

With the automatic heating technology external switches are not required and the
Jeeves rails are designed to run continuously, however if required the rails can

Need a Replacement Element?

How to select the correct element for your Jeeves heated towel
rail.

The element of the Jeeves heated towel rails can fail after a long period of use and the replacement
Jeeves elements allow you to quickly and easily fix this without the expense and inconvenience of
replacing the entire rail.
When choosing a new element, you need to know the wattage of the element that is currently
in your heated towel rail. The replacement element can be within 10-15% of the wattage of the
original element.
If selecting an element with a higher wattage than the original element, this will result in an
increased surface temperature of the heated towel rail, whilst a lower wattage element will decrease
the surface temperature.

Ablaze Premium Back-lit Mirrors run on a low energy light allowing the light to be left on constantly
and used as a night light. All models include LED lights and a 12 Volt transformer. Wiring is
through the centre of the back box and this needs to be hard wired to a switch in the room, either
with your light switch or an additional switch in the centre of the power point.
