Throughout the drive, participants had the chance to explore the various facets of student governance, from policy-making and event organization to advocacy and community engagement. This formal event, presided over by Deputy Vice Chancellor, Profesor Madya Dr. Abdul Aziz Mat Isa, officially recognized and empowered the newly elected members of the Students' Representative Council (SRC). During the ceremony, each council member received their appointment letter, symbolizing their commitment to leadership and service to the student community. The orientation featured a variety of outdoor activities, including kayaking and cycling, which provided an adventurous and fun start to university life. This strategic agreement underscores the commitment to enhancing the operational effectiveness and impact of these bodies under the SRC's umbrella. The MoU formalizes the partnership between the SRC and three crucial statutory bodies: Skuad Media UNITEN, EmceeVengers, and NADi. Each of these entities plays a vital role in enriching campus life, fostering student engagement, and promoting a vibrant and inclusive university community. Skuad Media UNITEN: As the central media squad, Skuad Media UNITEN is instrumental in creating and disseminating content that informs, entertains, and connects the student body. This effort was made possible through a strong collaboration with Pasaraya Darul Makmur, Pusat Islam Ibnu Khaldun, and Uni10Care. Pasaraya Darul Makmur contributed generously by supplying a range of groceries, ensuring the foodbank was well-stocked and could meet students' needs. Pusat Islam Ibnu Khaldun supported the initiative through their outreach, raising awareness and helping distribute the food to those who needed it most. Uni10Care coordinated volunteer efforts, ensuring smooth operations and effective delivery of services. Together, these partners helped address food insecurity, allowing students to focus on their education without the worry of where their next meal would come from. As we wrap up this initiative, we extend heartfelt thanks to all our partners for their dedication and support.
