try to catch up with everybody. Ken’s family is spread out, but every other Thanksgiving we all try to get together.
This year we will be renting two large houses in Charleston and I will be cooking for 30 to 35 people. Great fun.
Let’s all have a great 50th reunion AND Many More.

After graduating from high school, I attended SUNY at Canton. Following
graduation from college, I married my high school sweetheart, Don Faucher. We
settled into our new life in Poughkeepsie, NY, in the beautiful Hudson Valley. We
remained there for 36 years.
November 1970 saw the birth of our daughter Nicole and in January 1974 our son
Kevin entered our lives. In what seems like a blink of an eye Nicole has two
teenage sons and Kevin has a 9 year old son and our only granddaughter who is 5.
At the age of 49 I went back to college for a degree in nursing and the start of a new career. I guess an old
dog can learn new tricks. My first nursing assignment started on 9/11/01. For 11 years I worked primarily
as a rehab nurse.
In 2005, after my husband retired we moved to the Myrtle Beach SC area. We had been vacationing and
visiting my father there for many years.
Since my retirement from nursing in 2012 we have spent a lot of time traveling in our RV between NY, NJ
and northern CA. Our son recently moved to Utah, so a trip there this fall is on our agenda. We enjoy
visiting National Parks and have visited quite a few.
Don and I are really enjoying our retirement years in South Carolina. We are never idle between golfing,
biking and kayaking. I belong to the North Myrtle Sea Turtle Patrol, which is dedicated to protecting
endangered sea turtles. Every morning at sunrise from May to August we walk the beach looking for signs
of turtle nests and in the evenings from August to October we protect the hatchlings on their trip to the
ocean. It is so awesome to watch baby loggerhead sea turtles emerge from the sand and make their way to
the ocean.

After high school I attended college at Indiana Institute of Technology for a year.
Then I transferred to Canton ATC where I received an associate degree in
electronics technology.
Upon graduation I enlisted in the USN where I was an Electronics Technician
Radar aboard the USS Puget Sound (AD-38), Ships Diver and Reactor Operator
aboard the USS John Marshall (SSBN 611) until 1977.
After discharge from the service I went to work at Nine Mile Point Nuclear Station
where I was a floor operator for 10 years, then a Chief Shift Operator until 1996 after which I wrote
operating procedures for the station until I retired in 2006.
I occupy my time with my children Andrew and Julia and my grandchildren Emily and Andrew. Extra
time is spent sailing on Lake Ontario in the summer and in Florida during the winters with my Partner of
the last 16 years, Terri Chalone. In Sun City Center Terri and I have been board members for the
Rickenbacker Homeowners Association for the past 5 years.

I graduated from SUNY Canton in '69 and SUNY Albany in '72. Spent four
months in Africa with my brother, Jon, and learned on safari I would not survive
eating warthog and Spam.
Gladly returned to the good ole USA and was employed first at SUNY Canton and
then in St. Lawrence County Family Court. I spent too many nights bartending on
the side at the St. Lawrence Inn. Needed a lifestyle change and found my future
husband, Chris Leach, one night at the Hoot Owl! We married in '77 and moved to
the Syracuse area and then on to Albany in '79. My first child, Jay, was born that
year.
I was a stay at home Mom with second son, Andrew, '81, and daughter, Allie, '85. Thank goodness she
didn't want to play hockey. Spent next ten years caring for my brood in the neighborhood (Mr.Rogers, that
is).
In early 90's I went back to school to learn the 2.0 version of court reporting and worked in that field until
retiring in 2007.
In 2010 we built a house on an island on Lake Winnipesaukee, NH. About five months out of the year we
love our lake life. Two grandsons: Teagan, almost three, and Cru, ten months. They light up our lives!
My life at CHS was my personal safe haven with supportive and encouraging teachers and staff. I loved all
the sports and activities. I am grateful for all who impacted my life and look forward to catching up with
classmates in July.

Went to SUNY Potsdam and roomed with Gail Hill. By the way, I was not the best
of roomies!
I met my husband there on a blind date. We were married in June 1969 (Gail said
"thank God! I will get a new roomie!)
We had our daughter and shortly after, Mike was drafted into Army. We
accompanied him to Germany for a short tour. Turns out, we were stationed in the
same small town as Rosanne Carey Brunner and her Air Force hubby. We have
often marveled over the odds of that happening!
We moved back to Potsdam and our son was born in 1973. My husband re-enlisted back into army and we
began our travels.
1977-1987
We moved from Potsdam to Homestead, Florida and from Homestead to El Paso Texas in 1978. In 1980
we traveled back to Rensselaer Falls without my husband and lived there a few months, while we waited
for housing in Germany. In 1981 we moved to Kaiserslautern, Germany for 4 years. We rotated back to El
Paso in late 1985. I held a series of temp jobs until 1986, when I ended up in a school kitchen. It was very
hard to find a job in El Paso, because my husband was military and I did not speak Spanish! The schools
did not care!
1987-1997
I started work full time with the cafeteria staff and continued moving up in position, until I became a
manager in 1991.
During this time, my husband served in Desert Storm (Very scary time for me) and also Korea. Our
daughter and son both graduated from high school and college.
1997-2007
Both of our children married and 4 grandchildren were born.
My Dad passed away in May 2004 and my husband became ill right after.
He fought long and hard, but lost his fight in January of 2006.
I retired from El Paso Independent School District in May 2007 and move from El Paso to Midland, Texas.
2007-Present
I have had a variety of part time jobs since I moved here. I have worked in a day care kitchen, college
bookstore, local gourmet candy store and presently at Edible Arrangements.
I volunteer at my church and also at my grandkids school. During the last 10 years, I have attended
countless basketball, soccer, volleyball and lacrosse games and numerous gymnastic meets! My grandkids
are Very busy!!

After high school I attended Broome Tech Community College in Binghamton, NY
and received my degree in dental hygiene. This served me well over the years as I
just retired from a wonderful practice on Cape Cod. In all, I practiced dental
hygiene for somewhere around 40 years.
In 1970 I married Robert Killen and later that year my first son Robert Killen III
was born. He is now a successful computer technician for a medical practice on
Cape Cod and is married to lovely Loraine Killen. They bought a fixer upper house
on the Cape and are turning it into a dream home. Rob had a daughter Chelsi by a
former relationship, but tragically she was struck by a car almost 6 years ago while crossing the street and
succumbed to her injuries. What softened the tragedy was the fact that her organs were donated helping
other people live. She was a beautiful girl with a huge smile. Her memory shall always stay in my heart.
In 1973 my daughter Lara was born. She now lives in Plymouth, MA and is working for Target. She has a
daughter Krystal who is a Veterinary Assistant on Cape Cod. She has a great head on her shoulders and I
am very proud of her.
My youngest son was born in 1975. His name is Ryan. Presently Ryan is living with me, and hopes to be
finding a new career soon.
After moving 13 different times in a 10 year period, my first husband Bob and I moved to Cape Cod. After
1 year, Bob decided to move on and we were divorced. After a few years I met and married my second
husband, Bill Golliff. We really had a great time together. Bill had a touring motorcycle and we belonged
to the Cape Cod Motorcycle Club. We toured all over New England, made many friends and had a
wonderful life. In 2007 Bill suffered a stroke which affected his left side. After 5 months of rehab, he
came home in a wheelchair. I continued to work and set up a network of care for him. He had so many
struggles which we both learned to deal with. Last July 2016 Bill passed away. His struggles were over
and he was free!
Last October I came to visit my sister, Elna Gordon, in Chittenango, NY. My sister, Leslie, also came from
PA and spent the weekend. This is when we discussed my future and what I should do. After much
consideration, I decided to sell my house on Cape Cod and move to be closer to my sisters and my Mother
who is 97 now and in a Nursing Home. I sold my house on the Cape and moved to Canstota, NY, outside
of Syracuse in April of this year. My sister, DeeAnn, also lives in the area and will be coming back from
Florida soon. I have been in my new house since the middle of April now and really love it.
My faith, family and friends have really sustained me through the years. I feel that my life has been and
continues to be blessed.

1967 - 1977 - In this decade, I graduated from CHS, attended college in Fredonia,
NY, then attended Bard College. I got married, had a daughter (Tahra, b.1969) and
we lived for a year with our hippy friends in Tucson and the southern Arizona
desert. That marriage didn’t last.
I went back to school and graduated Summa from State University College at
Buffalo with a BS in Design, Fiber Art Concentration. In Buffalo I met my current
husband, Seth, who had arrived there for law school. We married in 1977.
1977 - 1987 - After graduations and marriage we moved to Chatham, in Columbia
County, NY, a small town that reminded me of the Canton of my youth. I worked as a fiber artist and we
had two children, Benjamin (1979) and Emily (1982). Seth worked at the State Education Department in
Albany as an attorney. When local schools did not work out for our eldest (Tahra), we began the adventure
of home education. I founded The Home Schoolers’ Exchange, a support group for families educating at
home, which also pulled together workshops and activities for the children.
1987 - 1997 - Very busy years! During that time we moved to a home with seven acres, outside a tiny
hamlet called New Concord, a few miles from Chatham. We planted a huge garden, and grew much of our
own food. During this time, the homeschoolers’ meetings led me and a couple of friends to create a co-
operative learning center for home-schooling families, which is still thriving. Seth and I also started a
national nonprofit to support parent involvement in education. Our children Ben and Emily did not attend
school until they started taking college courses.
1997-2007 - We slowly eased out of the non-profit education work we had been doing, and I decided to go
back to school. In 2001 I graduated from Hartford Seminary, defending my thesis on interfaith
understanding two days after September 11, 2001. I then studied further at One Spirit Interfaith Seminary
in NYC, graduating in 2005. I served as a community minister doing interfaith work, and also continued
creating artwork. Daughter Tahra, who lived in Key West, got married, and we welcomed our first
granddaughter, Gryffyn, in 2005. With a friend, I founded a group for women called Wellspring Haven,
which offers support, meetings, and enrichment. Seth and I also traveled during this time to Îles de la
Madeleine, Ireland, England and Wales.
2007-2017 - Tahra and Tim had another daughter, Ursula (b.2008), and moved from Key West to Western
Massachusetts, and from there to Myanmar, where they now live. Daughter Emily is a writer/editor and
she and her partner, Jed, also a writer, live in Amherst, MA. Son Ben is a vice-president at Oppenheimer
Funds, NYC. He married Yukari, an animation artist, in 2016.
The past decade was a challenging one for me, because an incurable auto-immune disease slowly destroyed
my liver (genetic predisposition with environmental triggers); the illness was diagnosed late in its course.
My health deteriorated for years, until a incredibly generous anonymous living donor gave me the left lobe
of his liver in November of 2015. Seth had retired and was able to be a tremendous help to me during
those difficult years. For the past year and a half I’ve been recovering from that major transplant surgery.
Now I have a new lease on life, and I’m looking forward to discovering what my future holds. Possibilities
abound.

My journey started with United Airlines in New York City. I was a reservationist
and received the perks of travel to cities that I had only dreamed of visiting. I also
made lifelong friends and met my husband. John was in the US Coast Guard. We
married on Oct. 24, 1970. We honeymooned on a cruise to the Bahamas and
moved to Newport News, VA. Sadly, I had to give up my job with United, but we
were blessed with our first daughter, Cynthia, born Oct. 9, 1971.
Our next move was to Jacksonville, FL. and then Mobile, AL, where we bought our
first home. John continued on with the Coast Guard and I was a stay at home mom. Baby number two,
Lisa, was born December 20, 1974. Baby number three, Misha, was born on January 28, 1976 in Potsdam,
because we stayed with mom and dad, while John was on an Icebreaker in the Antarctic.
June 1977 we were on the move again, this time to Northbend, OR. We lived on Saunders Lake by the
sand dunes of the Pacific coast. We learned to dig for clams, set crab traps and did a lot of exploring! His
tour ended in July of 1980 and we returned to Mobile, AL. We built a new home on eleven acres and had a
mini farm. The Coast Guard was not done with us yet, we moved to Elizabeth City, NC. The girls entered
new schools, made new friends, and we went on a lot of beach trips. John finally retired in December of
1987.
We returned to Mobile and the girls completed school and went on to college. John continued his aviation
career as a private pilot/instructor and mechanic/inspector. I started full time work in 1990 as a ward
clerk/secretary at Fresenius Medical Care. I hope to retire soon.
Our daughter Cindy is a PTA and loves to travel. She has yet to marry - but who knows! Lisa married her
high school sweet heart after she graduated from Auburn University. Steve is a US Coast Guard
pilot/instructor stationed in Corpus Christi, TX. They have one son - Garrett (11). Misha was married and
works in HR. She has a daughter – Harleigh (15) and a son – Ashton (11). They live in Mobile, so there is
a lot of together time. I LOVE my grandchildren!!
We may have stopped moving, but we did not stop traveling! Now I will make my trips alone, because
John passed away in November 2016. I really miss him, but I have my family to keep me company.

During the first ten years after graduation, I attended Canton ATC and majored in
Construction Technology, worked in that field for a short time, and then began
work at the St. Lawrence Psychiatric Center as a Therapy Aide. I met my future
wife, Barbara, in 1969 and we were married in 1971. I returned to school at Canton
ATC and graduated with a Nursing Degree in 1976. I bought a home in
Ogdensburg and also purchased a camp in Lisbon and since then have spent every
summer on the St. Lawrence River. Also, became the proud father of four children
(one son, three daughters).
From the late 70's to late 80's, I was a very busy family man and also obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in
Nursing from SUNY Utica. I found some time to return to hunting and successfully shot my first deer (one
of many).
In 1995, I was installed as Exalted Ruler of the Ogdensburg Elks Lodge and attended the National
Convention in New Orleans that summer. I was very active in the club for many years. In the Spring of
1999, I built a hunting camp in DeGrasse, NY with the help of family and friends. I look forward to
hunting season and my family and I also spend time there throughout the year. Turning 50 was not much
of a celebration, as I underwent major back surgery and spent many months recuperating.
From the late 90's to the present, I have witnessed two of my children marry, I have become a grandfather,
and after 34 years, I retired from the Psych Center as a Nurse Administrator.
Health wise, I successfully battled prostate cancer in 2006 and had major shoulder surgery last year. I now
have 8 grandchildren, including 1 1/2 yr. old identical twin boys. They keep me busy and tire their

hobbies, which include hunting, fishing, horseshoes, gardening and watching Syracuse basketball.

My goodness it doesn’t seem possible, but 50 years has passed since graduation.
Where to begin…I have three sons (Ernest, Philip, and Darren), two step-children
(Carla and Wayne), six grandchildren (Alexis, Cody, Darren Jr., Chase, Gauge,
Britney, Kayla, KaLeigh and Aspen.
I married soon after graduation and had various jobs, from an assembly line in a
paper mill, to clerical work for a small gas company, but in 1981 I was offered a
position with the Federal Government, which resulted in an extremely rewarding
career. During my 25 years with the Federal Government, I worked in various fields (e.g., Supply Clerk,
Modification Clerk, Contract Administrator, Special Project Coordinator, and a Business Manager). My
career took me around the world, allowed me to experience different cultures, see different economic
standards, and the unfortunate hardships created from nature’s storms.
- My work with the US Army Corps of Engineers consisted of expansion, closure, and renovation
work for various military bases at Fort Drum, NY, Cannon and Holloman Air Force Bases in New
Mexico and several bases in Hawaii. While in Hawaii for 13 years, we lived on the beautiful Island
of Oahu and from our lanai we had a gorgeous view of Chinaman Hat, the Ko’olau Mountains, and
the wondrous Pacific Ocean. Some of our temporary work allowed us to travel and sightsee in
California, Alaska, Nevada, Colorado, Florida, Louisiana, Alabama, Kentucky, Virginia, and
Washington DC.
- I provided disaster assistance and recovery operations for the Pacific Ocean Division during the
aftermath of Hurricane Iniki (1992) on the Island of Kauai and after Typhoon Gay in the Republic
of the Marshall Islands. Some homes had only minor damage, while other homes had been washed
out to sea or completely destroyed. We shipped in supplies and generators so that we could stay at
the damaged hotels, and so the locals would have a temporary place to live while rebuilding. At the
Marshall Islands there was no running water or electricity, villagers pumped water by hand from a
well, we bathed in the ocean, there were no standing buildings and the only available food was fish
and coconuts. The Marshall Islands was most memorable because it has a matriarchal society,
where power and property are held by women and handed down through matrilineal descent.
- When my husband was transferred to Cairo, Egypt (a patriarchal society) for 2 years (1998 – 2000),
I obtain employment with the US State Department and worked out of the Regional Security Office
at the American Embassy. While there we saw so much poverty and hardship - some of the
Egyptians lived in little crude shacks, while they built high-rise apartment buildings for the
Americans working in Egypt, they washed their personnel belongings, including dishes, in the Nile
and would have their children (barely clothed) work for food and money – often sorting through
one of the numerous dumps sites. There were many Egyptian military guards all around our area
and most of the American were transported to and from work. While there we took tours, via
Embassy shuttles, to the pyramids, an Oriental rug factory, and a glass factory where they made
beautiful perfume bottles and nice china dishes.
- During our tour in Egypt, my husband and I went to see his daughter, while she was stationed at
Bad.Aibling Station, in Germany (1999). She took us to see the Eagle’s Nest and toured through
various castles, and even enjoyed Oktoberfest – boy can they drink beer.
Now that we both have retired (in 2006), we are enjoying our new home and relaxing in our pool in Justin,
Texas, spending time visiting our grandchildren and taking road trips to visit family and friends.
