The Department of Languages sets a mission to
spread awareness about literary and cultural
importance and relevance of the Urdu and English
culture, language and literature in Pakistan and
around the world.

BS English program sets a mission to enable its
students to draw on a wide range of intellectual
resources, theoretical perspectives and academic
disciplines. The main focus of the English department
is to prepare human capital in the field of English as
teachers, educators, educational leaders and
researchers. Innovative methods and techniques of
teaching and learning in the area of education have
made this department parallel with that of the
international standards.

Urdu is not mere a language; it holds an ideology akin
to the ideology of Pakistan. Urdu language has
become a craze all over the world so; the mission of
the Department is to connect community with the
literary tradition and great works of cross cultural
literary studies plus new critical theories, prevalent in
the modern literature.
