Yayati Madan G Gandhi Publications House

Pays Tribute to our Beloved Founder Late. Sh. Madan G Gandhi

The Poetry Society of India
Earth Vision Publications
Global Fraternity of Poets

A TRIBUTE

Working under the kind guidance of Late Sh Madan G
Gandhi has been a blessing for me. Since 2008, I had an
opportunity to serve this great poet and look after the
publication house. It began with "The Poetry Society of
India" and reached to be a multi publication group.

In regard to his pious personality and gentle body
language, we used to call him Bauji. He ever helped
young poets in publishing their books on subsidised
rates. His aim was to spread poetry globally than earning
money. He had been a source of parental love and helped
me in many ways to settle me down in my life. I had been
following the path shown that helped me in lifting the publication house to touch the sky. His
preachings are great source of our success in the eld of publication, Printographic affordable
designing house and Coaching Center and other business. We pay our tribute to this great soul and
ever seek his kind blessings.

MR. MADAN G GANDHI

An Extraordinary Personality

I was introduced to Prof. Madan Gandhi by my mentor and his
“Gurudev Professor Som Ranchan”, from Shimla, on 5th July,
2013 when I sent him a request letter for publication of my poetry
volume. He wrote back on 11th July, 2013 agreeing to publish my
poetry volume and welcomed me to his home in Gurgaon, as and
when possible. And thus, my telephonic relationship with him
started, laced with a few visits to his house.

The rst time, I visited him at his house in Gurgaon, he was ill and
lying in bed. The bed sheet was oral and red, and the quilt was
maroon coloured and on the left side of the bed against the bed
rest stood a framed painting of Goddess Saraswati.

I had met a charismatic person, it was a magical moment. His
voice in itself was mesmerizing. I am not sure what his illness
was, I did not ask, and he did not tell me, but I somehow felt he
was in some pain.

Over the years, I met him a few times, during my last visit he
spoke fondly of his publishing venture and told me that he spent
all his pension money in promoting and publishing literature,
and had also pooled in his provident fund and gratuity to buy
modern machines and asked me if I could, as a businessman, see
after his demise that publishing venture continued. He came out
as a deep analyst with rmness of thought. I understood that
making money was not his priority.

I remember, when I approached him in 2017 for publishing my

Friend Anil Sharma's Hindi poetry volume, titled I have a feeling, based on a few meetings with him, that

In the eternal path
Of quest for enlightenment
In the perennial pursuit

In the beauty of forbearance
Amidst the creator, creation and creativity,
The journey of your milestones

Late Sh.Madan Gopal Gandhi

(1940 - 2019)

LOVE'S EMBRACE LOVE'S LONGING

What happens after death The autumnal wind passing through the pine leaves
remains for man a mystery sends sound vibrations in the air
a riddle, beyond speculations which echoing through the hills
magnify into a grand symphony
To ee from death In the woodlands' narrow lanes
is to deny ow of love the songs wafted by the windy breeze
life and time scatter its fragrant colours
through the singing water
Robbing existence Cattle grazing over the grassy expanse
of its very purpose move majestically with their tinkling bells
and life of its rhythm the village maids drawing water from the well
walk the chit chat with rhythmic steps
Without death's cold embrace Just beneath the racing heavens
you can't in fullness realize there oat the shadowy gures
warmth of Love's embrace amid din and fury of giant ares
love's longing slings and swings the spheres.
Nor ye hear song of existence
nor sweet music of the river of time @Yayati
nor the warbling choir's soulful chime

To know the fullness of life
the process of ripening to fall
and nally to fade off in dust

Death and life-apiece
Without one
the other is not complete

They together make
harmonics of symphony
to be sung at creation's dawn.

POET UNPARALLELED..!!

O Poet Yayati
There's no death to a poet
As long as the posy of poesy
Keeps diffusing it's fragrance.
By preserving one philosophy
below the eyelids
And when one verse stands upright like a lamp post
throwing light on the path for passers-
by generation after generation...
In the world awakened by your words
We see your image in every letter.
Reading your poems
we are owing into ourselves,
and delighted by your words
we are trying to fathom
the depths of your loving heart
and handing over the bouquets of your ideals
to the posterity as invaluable heritage.
We still behold and keeps beholding the future,
those dazzling verses of your poesy
reaching the sky and dazzling like stars.
O poet unparalleled...
its not upto anyone to climb and reach the heights
of your poetic apogee...
we can merely take a dip in that nectareous deep
and try to wade through!

ICON OF SERENITY

We came across aggressions
We came across conicts,
We came across brutalities,
We came across ruinous wars,
We came across communal frenzy,
We came across starvation deaths;
And even witnessed inhumane acts.
Yet, the re of fury was doused
With mysticism and peace poetry
Of none other than Madan G Gandhi;
Not only simmering volcanic hearts
But even pacifying the hostile minds.

Few and rare are such memory-icons
Whose verses and powerful voices
Keep echoing across the world…
To encourage harmony
To promote earth awareness
To uphold global fraternity
To project cultural values
To defend human rights, yes ….
With mysticism and peace themes
Which relentlessly surged….
From the ardent pen of Madan G Gandhi.

you win the nal run. untrimmed the wick!
By practice
you'll know How can the lamp be lit
love is eternal ow. how can there be light?
Obeying the law of Love,
you become privy Unless persistent the call
to wondrous feats insistent the quest
of transcendence. the door shall not open!

A GRADIENT POET

You are the great poet of the era
You have spread poetry and literature
In every corner of the world
My true love sent to you
By the embers in hearthside ease
Across the surface of a poem
Your mind in the act of nding, what will sufce
All begin in delight
To come to terms with mortality
I mean, have seen a great scholar
But my moving cry from the heart of suffering
All else aside, your vision make me your fan
Your rhythms and energy of a young nation
Awake the all sleepy souls
We know, it's all your dedication
The most thoroughly pillaged piece
Like you, no one would do here
You are the greatest.

Transcendental oats of mystical rafts
Sitting on the helm of worldly affairs
The boatman sings of lovesick winds
That come from hearts of valiant men

Chanting mantras on Ganges 'shores
Smoke from sacred res

The mariner dreams of Zanzibar
Sailing gaily into jubilant Timbuktoo

Dr. Dalip Khetarpal

Dr. Dalip Khetarpal pioneered a new genre in poetry writing
and won laurels for the new trend set by him. He is one of
the rst Indian English poets who has, for the rst time,
successfully synthesized and poeticized all branches of
sciences including medical science, psychiatry,
abnormal psychology and parapsychology and
integrated them into his poetry with great subtlety and
skill. His books are sold online worldwide through
Amazon.in and Flipkart.com
Dr. Dalip has nine poetry anthologies, about 300
reviews/criticisms and one book of criticism to his credit.

His highlight has generally been the subconscious and
unconscious mind. But later he shifted his focus to other wider
desultory areas of life, like psychological aspects of man-woman
relationship, spiritual love, sex, deceptive myths, mysteries of life,
human soul and God, but not without elements of humanism.
Various literary organizations from India and abroad have conferred laurels
and certicates of excellence on him. He has also received numerous
commendations at various national and international writers' fests for his
creative works that made India proud. His anthologies were also suitably
awarded for their excellence by the poet laureate, late Dr. Yayati Madan
Gandhi, his mentor and guiding star.

MEMORIUM

(In fond memory of late Dr. Yayati Madan Gandhi)

On one despondent day
Fancy took hold of my beloved poet laureate
—the poet's poet, the mentor to all mystics
Who began to titillate my fond memories
That always see his spirit glow,
His vision luminous.

The creative moments shared, the mysteries explored,
The sustained ow of love stored,
Gestures that made us laugh, weep, enchant,
Silent meaningful exchange of glances
Unspoken, but expressions deep and loud,
Still lie deep in my psyche.

E'en from the Heavens
Where thou dwell, I shall feel thy love
Always active deep within me.
It's impossible for words to honor you
And to pay an apt memorable tribute to you
As your stature is measureless.

I bid tearful farewell not to your soul

Not to my fondest thoughts either,

For within the deepest core of my heart

Thou dwell, cheer, inspire, motivate and bolster

My creativity that shall continue to pass on

To remotest posterity. @ Dr. Dalip Khetarpal

IN MEMORIAM DR. YAYATI MADAN GOPAL GANDHI

In the lap of Srimati Savitri Devi, what pearl did the time polish!
On the shoulders of Kewal Krishan, what mount did the time raise!
A Bard with a wing and wind at his shore to lure the wandering men
'Ashes and Embers' 'Petals of Flame' and 'Ring of Silence'
What melody! What voice, like the mystic bird's mirth
down the line has crept into the recesses of wordsmiths.

The hiss of wind, the whirl of wee instants may in mute mode be
but , who could erase the music of master from the skin of admirers,
the poet lives in ether, comes down for a moment to mark his land
nay by measuring tools, but by the reed carrying blood and salt
on its own, for the poet's pen is a forest massive in his palm small
creating its own rainbow out of human hues and shades varied.

History may bias be, but a verse shall never a curse be, for sure
the poet is the king of his own kingdom, with his own human laws
for his race, reasons and seasons stay at the door like unwanted guests
who for reasons assured are handed round late or on no account
for every verse stands as rule, for every style serves the matter
that matters for the masses, and least themes on the leaets fall.

From here Madan ji in his caricature may not be but his donation
we all enjoy, a publication house what else a bard of this race wants,
a family irrespective of size and shape yet under a roof lives in peace,
let peace be a gown to wrap the bard embellished with mystic petals
to encourage us all to keep the show on despite odds all
and that we may in verses live to leave footprints like traveler on sand

IN LAUDEM

The book on a shelf His magnetic eyes
placed there with care tell of distant pasts
on the cover the image of and I'm there silent
The worldly known humanist by his voice captured
and mystical poet while time passes pleasant
a light beacon and gently ow the words
keeper of science and knowledge like between friends
the icon that anything knows from ancient times
of good and evil
He was Madan Gandhi
With a melancholic nostalgia the poet of beauty and love
I leaf through the pages and noble his ideals and visions
nd myself distant in time and space keeper of wisdom
sitting on a sofa who his life devoted to brotherhood
next to the great poet harmony and peace
wearing a white kurta

THRENODY FOR YAYATI

More like the rush of an eagle
Sorrow drew near our cheerful hearts,
Holding us up in the trance of uncalled headlines
"Yayati is gone", "Gandhi is no more"
As the mad breeze and creaking windows claps,
the mocking birds staged songs of deceits
Mimicking our soulful dirges on panting lips:
Yayati! Ya-ha-yati! Yaahyha-tii!!!
Since death has played her chord of sorrow for us to dance.

Memories of Yayati being; peaceful ght won, & the blissful smile,
Paint the world with indelible stripes...
& time wiggled chariots; Yayati died to live; for history remains,
Like a fetus ready for birth.

Indubitably inspiring, his words were lights to darkened paths
& Undeniably, he has written his name on the wall of our hearts
To be remembered as long as the sun spreads her tentacles.
“Enchantment is over but, the spell remains”

You are a poet laureate legendary
A man with eyes of vision
You are a prodigious humanist
A man with a noble heart and a pious soul
To embrace the depth vastness of cosmos
In your words carved the beauty of your dignity

Manifestation of a great soul
A multi talent artist, a notable academician
Digging the meaning of life and death
A mortal esh with immortal soul
Never miss inserted a meaning to its woven-link

Grand vision visible through your eyes
Of evolution of life till eternity
Poetry is your verses of yearning spirit
A great painter with magic colours
Luminous in the world of darkness

Grandeur of your humbled personality
A great soul meditation in silence
Never exaggerated of what it should be
Deep in your heart buried an endless dream
Harmony of humanity and nature are your concerned
In memorial you are, but your verses will always whisper!

OH SWEET MEMORY

Memories get back to me
Like a pearl drop
Floating around the orange sunset,
A warmth of your gentle touch around me
Like a fragrant breeze
In my solitude, or
In my prayers
I weep in silence gazing at the midnight sky
I mourn for my catastrophe
As dark shadows climb the wall of pain.
No one can hear the sound of your laughter that
echoes in my ears
The loneliness surrounds me
As my hopes, and my dreams
Shattered into pieces.
The pain increases
The air keeps so silent,
Through my body runs a chill.
The night camouages,
Revolving around me
Fireies glow inside my iron chest
As long as I have those memories
We will never be apart.

DR. YAYATI MADAN G. GANDHI - A TRIBUTE

Should we be asked to name a poet, who raises the earth to heaven's rareed atmosphere of mystic enlightenment, and
describes in glorious heavenly poetry Mother Earth and her problems, the name which comes to our mind is “Dr.
Yayati Madan G. Gandhi”. In his great works one nds a happy combination of the intuitive wisdom of the Orient and
the rational enlightenment of the Occident. He enjoys the gift of the Muse of Poesie, and words, which are at his beck
and call, place themselves in the best order in his poems, making it a delectable experience to read or hear them. As a
young man of 21, he won the prestigious 'Tagore Award for Poetry', and has grown up to be a 'Modern Day Tagore'
earning the sobriquet of “Poets' Poet” with 20 volumes of published poetry of the highest order and thousands of
poems yet to be published on heaven and earth and what lies between them visible and invisible including values,
which mankind has cherished down the ages. His assignment as a Visiting Fellow in Cambridge University and his
peregrinations round the world, making friends and inuencing people among intellectuals, thinkers, writers, and
poets all over the world, have made him 'a citizen of the world' and India's cultural and literary ambassador to the
outside world. Dr. Gandhi has been in the vanguard of international movements for sustainable environment, total
disarmament, human rights, eco-feminism, and one world for all mankind. Like his illustrious role model, Dr
Rabindranath Tagore, he is also referred to as a “poet, writer, and educationist,” in all three of which he has excelled
like none else but Tagore before him in modern times. His works have been translated into several languages of the
world. He is a 'Neruda Awardee', and was a Nobel nominee. He received the “National Excellence Award for
Contribution in the Field of Education and Literature” from the 'United Citizen's Council - New Delhi', and the “Rajiv
Gandhi Award for Outstanding Contribution to Education and Literature”.

Three organizations founded by him viz., 'Poetry Society of India', 'Global Fraternity of Poets', and 'Earth Vision
Publications' have been serving the cause of poetry, environment, and peace on earth for the last several years. This
multi-faceted genius has also distinguished himself as a painter, whose work was exhibited in Cambridge (UK), and
New Delhi (India). He is an authority on Hindu Philosophy and Yoga. Dr Gandhi's name gures in several
International Directories of people who have made their mark in different elds of activity in the world. He has
founded the World Congress of Poets together with Dr. Krishna Srinivas and other eminent poets of the world, and is
the Founder-President of “Dr. Yayati Madan G. Gandhi International Literary Awards”. A deep study of this great
visionary's works makes it clear that his primary concern is to safeguard the earth and world peace through Poetry and
its cohorts, and broaden our vision by taking us on a poetic ight to the starry realms, where we can hear the soulful
spiritual music of the spheres. I was sorely disappointed when the Selection Committees for The Nobel Prize for
Literature, Gyanpith, Saraswati Samman, The Central Sahitya Akademi and The Padma Awards bypassed this great
writer. As a humble homage to this great man and my esteemed friend, I dedicated my 9th book of poems, Where My
Father Dwells (2019) to his hallowed memory.

A PRECIOUS BOON

A precious boon of that almighty in the eld of literature,
Who provided opportunities to
So many brightening their future,
His two words “SUPERB” and “GREAT” were enough,
That made everyone feel their work to be worth!
A man blessed with virtue of kindness,
A rare example of peace and humbleness,
Though honoured with so many awards,
Yet he always showered his love and regards!
His writings were a source of inspiration,
Igniting inner zeal and enthusiasm,
Touching million of souls and hearts,
Spreading love and light in world's each part!
Though today he is not amidst us,
But will remain alive within hearts,
His seless dedication towards literature,
Has scribbled a golden history to remember!

IN UNISON

It is evening my lord
The sun is about to set
All I now remember is that
I have been praying since dawn.

The early breeze was invigorating
Compelling was moon's mystifying beauty
Sunrise then warmed me up for the day's chores
And I went through the noon's intensity.

Now milder the sun will go down
And soon darkness shall prevail
I do not know if I shall wake up
From slumber to the freshness of dawn again
Or an everlasting sleep would engulf me.

Day has gone by
There was much to do
Many tasks to be nished.

But twilight spreads
Its mystical magnetic spell
And my entire being
Calls out to thee.

I nd myself joining the chorus
Rising from the cavern of my heart
Where, the mundane and the utmost
All gather, seeking thy grace in unison.

PEACE

Peace allows people to live together in peace. But
unfortunately there are wars in the world and so terrible
innocent people are dying. Peace means humanity, the

end of evil is the beginning of goodness. Countries where
peace grows more and more are ones where peace brings
to humans, love and tolerance.

Peace means choosing a good life. Where there is no peace
there is sadness and a bad life. People lose their love and
respect, then jealousy and selshness begin. They succumb
to their ambitions and kill each other. For this reason peace
is a condition of being happy and peaceful.

Peace happiness is the foundation of your future. For this
reason, living in peace is a very important thing. Peace makes
people happy, and war makes them unhappy. Peace makes a country
strong, and life makes it easy. Peace, brotherhood and solidarity will bring
happiness, will make people happy. We must compete for good, we must
end the wars for a beautiful world. I wish peace to all people and the court.
