PARKSIDE SCHOOL
Situated at The Manor, Stoke D’Abernon, the
school itself is a new arrival, having relocated
there in 1979 from its home in East Horsley.
Combining a busy, flourishing Independent
School with development and modernisation has
been no easy task. The School has been mindful
of its heritage and has sympathetically retained
the very essence of both buildings and grounds
alike. Chris Hodson’s History of The Manor
brilliantly and concisely tells the story from Pre
Roman times to the present. Even now more
artifacts are being discovered and exposed,
hence the Head Teacher’s adoration of her study
floor!
