Season 14’s 1st place winners, Nivédita Motiram and Tanya Yousofi also spent a lot of time in studio with

Anthony Wright, working on their prizes. Included in their prize package, each of them also took part in producing a
video to promote 1 of their songs. Anthony produced both videos and we will be proudly presenting them during the
Season 15 Grand Finale.

song is the perfect vehicle to
show off her skills as a double
bass player and the visual of
her with her instrument is
particularly stunning.

Look for Nivédita’s album, Tanya’s song is called The
Hurting Heart here Woods and is an intrigu-
ing homage to Little Red
Riding Hood. In the video,
Tanya evokes the charac-
ter with a vibrant splash

of red in her hair.

Where are they now?

Last Season’s 2nd place Adult winner, Patrick Lopes, chose

to join Anthony Wright in studio for a personal songwriting and
recording project. One of his prizes from last season was a profes-
sional video for his song on the compilation album. Since he now
had quality original music of his own, we made the choice to do a
promotional video for one of his songs instead of the cover song
as originally planned. The song is called Is It Wrong and the video
was directed by Edber Vallejo Heredia. It is, in part, a tribute to
the city he loves, Toronto.

We were riveted to our television screens during the latest season of
American Idol. Two former contest participants had passed the first audi-
tions and were chosen to audition live in front of the judges Luke Bryan,
Katy Perry and Lionel Richie. Very Exciting!

The pandemic has left the future of The Next Step a little up in the air. No one is really sure when Season 8 will be airing.

Previous contestants who have lent their voices to the show include Vanessa Casiero, Bruna Vilaça and Keeana
Cerezo. We know they can’t wait to do it again.

Where are they now?

Shortly after coming 2nd in the Juvenile category at

the Season 11 Finals, Kayleigh Cerezo joined the Mini

Pop Kids. After several very successful years with the fran-
chise, Kayleigh recently announced her departure. We
are sure she will be greatly missed by her many MPK fans
but we are equally sure it will not be the last they see of
her. Kayleigh’s future is even brighter than the garments
in the funky MPK clothing line.

Another former Mini Pop Kid, Jake Donaldson has

just released his first full-length album called First Love
Problems. It is available everywhere and sounds fantastic!

CMC TV Talent with John Santos

John is very pleased to be presenting an entertainment
segment within a weekly broadcast on Citytv. Starting
at 11:45am every Sunday, during the last quarter of the
Portuguese-language program Correio da Manhã em
Destaque, he is hosting an English-language piece called
CMC TV Talent with John Santos.

Each episode features a brand new Canadian musical Correio da Manhã Em Destaque is broadcast weekly
artist. Both past and current contestants have been guests on Sundays at 11:00am ET on:
on the show and it has been a fantastic
vehicle to showcase some of the terrific Citytv Toronto (ch. 7 locally) and Bell Fibe 893

Ideal for mobile PA applications where complex trussing or roof
rigging isn’t practical, Yorkville PSA1 cabinets mount quickly
and securely on a typical high quality speaker stand. Up to two
cabinets per stand can be arrayed when required. When
rigging is available, innovative optional external bolt-on flyware
allows up to four PSA1 cabinets to be configured easily in a
60°(v) x 110° (h) array for touring system or permanent install.

Rugged injection molded ABS cabinet design, Class-D
amplification, and Neodymium woofers minimize overall
cabinet weight, ensures system transport and set-up can
easily be handled by a single operator. Highly efficient amplifier
design means each PSA1 draws less than 3 amps in typical
operation allowing up to four cabinets to operate safely on a
standard 15 amp service.
