About the University



At a glance, we would like to introduce ourselves as an academic leader for Women's education for the
Technical and professional education in India. We, The Jayoti Vidyapeeth Women's University, Jaipur has

been established and incorporated under the Act 17 of 2008 passed by the Rajasthan State Legislature
and notified by the Government of Rajasthan through its official Gazette Notification No. F.2 (23) Vidhi/

2/2008 dated April 21, 2008. The University is offering almost all disciplines i.e. Ayurveda, Homoeopathy,
Yoga & Naturopathy, Physiotherapy, Medical Lab Technology, Optometry, Radiation Technology,
Pharmacy, Humanities, Engineering, Education, Agriculture, Polytechnic Education, Journalism, Food &

Biotechnology, Law, Allied Science, Commerce and Management except Modern Medicine & Veterinary
Science which are likely to be started very soon.

The Jayoti Vidyapeeth Women's University is recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC) under

Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956 and programs offered by the University are recognized by the Central
Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM), Central Council of Homoeopathy (CCH), Bar Council of India (BCI),

Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), National Council For Teacher Education (NCTE) and Distance
Education Bureau (DEB)-UGC.

The University is also associated with association of Indian Universities (AIU), Association of

Commonwealth Universities (ACU), Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI),
Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Associated Chambers of Commerce & Industry of India
(ASSOCHAM) etc.

empowerment, Jayoti Vidyapeeth Women's University offers a transformational experience where highest

Advisor of the University, Dr. Panckaj Garg has been awarded by India Book of Records for being the
youngest founder of a University in India. The extraordinary offerings and innumerable deeds have

I extend my esteemed blessings for the three dimensional activities as

organizing a National Conference, Conferring Awards and
publishing e-Souvenir. It is a matter of pleasure for me that voices of
women are being recognized across the Country and an intellectual
gathering is all set to visit global campus of Jayoti Vidyapeeth
Women's University, Jaipur. I welcome all the Academicians,
Researchers and Technocrats and other participants on this

auspicious occasion of National Conference and award ceremony
being organized by the University Hargobind Khorana Chair in
collaboration with Rahi Sahyog Sansthan, Jaipur Faculty of
Education & Methodology, Jayoti Vidyapeeth Women's University,
Jaipur. Conference titled “Recent Advances in Teaching Methodology and Education
Development” (RATMED-2018) scheduled to be held on 7-9 May, 2018. The primary objective of this
conference is to offer a common platform for the academicians, researchers, students and industry
professionals to share their innovative ideas and scientific achievements. Also discuss conference title

based issues and their solutions to boost women empowerment in the country through technical and
professional education. I am please to know that Chair is also going to confer different awards to the

It imparts immense pleasure that the Jayoti Vidyapeeth
Women's University, Jaipur, University, Hargobind Khorana
Chair, Faculty of Education And Methodology, in
collaboration with Rahi Sahyog Sansthan, Jaipur. (RSS) is
organizing the National Conference & Academic Awards
Ceremony on “Recent Advances in Teaching Methodology
& Education Development” RATMED-2018, scheduled to
be held from 07-09 May, 2018, with its primary objective to
offer a common platform for the for the academicians,
researchers, students and industry professionals to share
their innovative ideas and scientific achievements. Chair will
also confer different awards to the suitable brain of the
country.

Being the first State Private Women’s University of its kind in the country and having numerous state-of-
the art program and courses, the conference will help discuss conference based issues and solutions there
of to boost women empowerment in the country's development.
The four sessions of the conference with its different themes like Overall Vision of Teaching, 21st Century
Pedagogy, Student- Teachers Competencies & Skills According Pedagogy, Education Development,
Personalize and Customize Learnings.

The venue of the conference, Prof. Rekha Govil Auditorium, is to witness the auspicious presence and
welcome ceremony of the Chief Patron of the conference, JV'n Vidushi Garg, Hon'ble Chairperson, the
Advisor of the conference, JV'n Dr. Panckaj Garg, Hon'ble Founder & Advisor, during the inaugural,
technical sessions and awards ceremony as well.
Professor Ashwani Kumar Chair Professor of Hargobind Khorana, Professor Jitendra Kumar Srivastava,
Registrar of IGNOU, Delhi, Prof. G. Vishwanathappa Principal, Regional Institute of Education, Ajmer,
Rajasthan will add knowledge and motive towards research, innovation, incubation and start ups.
The Convener, JV'n Dr. Rouhangiz Hayati Dahia, President and the Organizing Secretary, JV'n Prof.
Manju Sharma, Dean of Faculty of Education and methodology with the Conference Coordintors : JV’n
Dr. Krishan Kumar, JV’n Dr. Sanjay Bundela, JV’n Dr. S.K. Srivastava, JV'n Dr. Monika Trivedi are all the

The Certificates of Awards will be given by Hon'ble Chairperson, JV'n Vidushi Garg, in the award
ceremony in presence of Hon'ble Founder and Advisor, Dr. Panckaj Garg will boost up the zeal for
performing and achieve even further.
I appreciate the endeavour of the organizers and wish the conference an overwhelming response from
across the country towards its great and grand success. According to report of UNESCO's 21st Century
Education Board of Education, “talent hidden like a treasure buried in everyone will not remain
untapped”. Education is a light that shows the mankind the right direction to surge. The purpose of
education is not just making a student literate but adds rationale thinking, knowledgeablity and self
sufficiency. When there is a willingness to change, there is hope for progress in any field. Creativity can be

It gives me immense pleasure to write the message for the e-Souvenir
2018 of Jayoti Vidyapeeth Women's University Jaipur being published
on the auspicious occasion of the National Conference titled “Recent
Advances in Teaching Methodology and Education Dvelopment”–
RATMED- 2018 organized by the University Hargobind Khorana Chair,
Faculty of Education and Methodology, Jayoti Vidyapeeth Women's
University, Jaipur in the collaboration with Rahi Sahyog Sansthan,
Jaipur. Undoubtedly the organizing Committee of the conference is
working hard to make our conference not only memorable but a
historical, successful and mind blowing.
I would like to express my deep gratitude firstly to Madam JV'n Vidushi Garg ji, Hon'ble Chairperson of
Jayoti Vidyapeeth Women's University, Jaipur, Hon'ble Founder and Advisor Sir JV'n Dr. Panckaj Garg Ji,
Jayoti Vidyapeeth Women's University, Jaipur for their kindhearted support at all level.
Conferences offer wonderful vistas for interaction and exchange of scientific initiatives and ideas at its
juncture. Conference will provide a great platform to further explore the ever expanding horizons of
emerging trends coming out of the box through brain storming exercises of three consecutive days of
conference on the Recent Advances in Teaching Methodology and Education Development”– RATMED-
2018. The members of organizing committee in general and Technical Committee, Reception and other
Committees in particular, will strive towards providing a comprehensive and enriching learning
experience for all the delegates participated in the Conference.

The theme chosen for conference is of topical interest which discusses the traditional “chalk and talk”
method of teaching which has persisted for hundred years. It is now attaining inferior result when
compared with more modern and revolutionary teaching methods that are used in school today. As a
teacher, it is necessary to be able to teach and remain engaging. It puts greater level of responsibility on
creating lesson plans which works i.e spaced learning, flexible days, engagement.
On the first day of the conference, Professor Ashwani Kumar Chair Professor of Hargobind Khorana,
Professor Jitendra Kumar Srivastava, Registrar of IGNOU, Delhi, Prof. G. Vishwanathappa Principal,
Regional Institute of Education, Ajmer, Rajasthan were present as the Chief Speakers and Reviewers.
Professor Jitendra Kumar Shrivastav will address how 'today's daughters are feeling the power of their
aptitude and skills in every area of the society, they have made themselves a new indelible identity in the
society by keeping their social values and rituals free from the wallets of the chains of stereotyped custom.
In this male-dominated society, the status of women is set at heights now.
On the second day of the conference "Overall Vision of Teaching Eighth Century Pedagogy" session will be
held. Professor Ashwani, Professor Mathureshwar Pareek Retd. Dean of Education, University of
Rajasthan, and Professor Purnima Jain Dean College of Humanity and Social Sciences Dayalbagh
University, Agra will be present as Chief Keynote Speakers and Reviewers.

On the last day of the conference Professor Dr. A.V. Singh Madanawat, Dean, Department of Psychology,
University of Rajasthan, Jaipur and Prof Santosh Mittal, in the "Academic Award Ceremonies" will be
present as the key speaker and reviewer in the closing ceremony of the conference. Professor Santosh
Mittal will present her presentation on "Personalized and Customized Learning".

Auspicious presence and the Inspiring and energetic blessings of Hon'ble Chairperson Ma'am and Hon'ble
Advisor Sir will definitely encourage us to work hard. I would also like to give best wishes to all the aspirants
and presenters. I am happy to express my gratitude in advance towards the Organizing Committee of the

At 10:45 AM to 11:15 AM key note address was delivered by Prof Mathureshwar Pareek, Retd. Dean,
Department of Education, University of Rajasthan. Professor Mathureshwar Pareek made aware of

the new technologies in the ield of education and explained the difference between new techniques
and old techniques
