INTER CLASS SKATING CHAMPIONSHIP (2018-19)

“Lotus Valley International School, Gurugram, believes in the holistic development of
learners and hence it has been our constant endeavour to organize a plethora of extra-
curricular activities and sports events to groom our learners into champions of
tomorrow. Against this backdrop, the school organized an Intra-Class Skating
Championship for grades I, II and III on Friday, 8th February 2019. The championship
was held for the learners in three categories (Adjustables, Quads and Inlines) for both
boys and girls. The air certainly reverberated with the enthusiasm of our little learners
as they took up the challenge and were eager to showcase their talent with skates. The
remarkable turnout of the ever ebullient parents and the pleasant weather were
indeed the perfect boost for learners. It was heartening to see our little champs uphold
the spirit of sportsmanship in the skating rink while the parents participated in the
proceedings with much gaiety and enthusiasm. The day ended on a cheerful note, with
the winners being felicitated for their outstanding performances by the Headmistress,
Ms. Ritu Jawa.



















IIIrd C.L.JAIPURIA LITTLE MASTER MEMORIAL CRICKET TOURNAMENT,
2019

The importance of sports comprises more than just the benefit of physical activity. It
helps in building self-confidence, team spirit, discipline and positive attitude. It also
develops coordination, gross motor skills and enhances mental alertness among
learners. Lotus Valley International School believes in providing opportunities to its
learners to encourage such teamwork and cohesion. Learners participated in the
prestigious, ‘3rd C.L. Jaipuria Little Master Memorial Cricket Tournament’, 2018-19 for
the Under-8 category at DPS, Sector- 45 Gurugram. Nine teams from various schools
participated to win the coveted championship. The talented team from our school
played the semi- final match against DPS, Maruti Kunj and won by 88 runs. The final
was played against DPS, Sector-45. Learners won the Winner’s Trophy and brought
glory to the school.

concept, but seeing the result was truly amazed to say the least!!Very
