During the time of so much
uncertainty, one thing that is certain
is the need to stay fit and active. As
the pandemic continues to surge
across, physical education has
become more important now than
ever. Keeping this thought in mind,
the school continues to conduct
regular sessions of Yoga, Skill Based
Games and Physical Education for
the learners. Taking into
consideration the endurance level of
learners from Grades Pre-Nursery to
III, age-appropriate exercises are
planned to facilitate neuromuscular
and cardiovascular fitness, muscle
strengthening, eye-hand
coordination and body balance.
While the Yoga Asanas strengthen
lungs and improve immunity, Brain
Gym exercises work towards
increasing concentration span and
sharpen learning. Likewise, drills
ensure that the endurance level,
agility and motor skills are focused
upon. We are confident that
encouraging learners to establish
healthy lifestyle patterns at a young
age will help them carry the habits -
and their benefits - forward for the
rest of their lives.
