Beta Psi Chapter has been at Eastern since 1931, and 1s celebrating its twentieth anniversary th is year. Election to membership is held twice each year, the requirements being high scholarship, good character, and promise of success in teaching. Also, the members must be juniors or seniors. This year the group is sponsoring an interhonorary fraternity banquet. All honorary fraternities on campus are being represented at this banquet. One of twelve regional conferences in the nation was held at Indiana State Teachers College, with Eastern having the largest group there. At the present time, the organization is trying to set up a scholarship to be made possible by the alumnae, but all details are not complete yet. Meetings are held once each month with President Richard Riggins being in charge. At these meetings, guest speakers address the group on vital topics in education. One of the outstanding guests was the president of the national organization. [ 97] KAPPA DELTA PI
