Birlacril™ SELECT program launched with Kahatex

PT. Kahatex has become the first company to join BIRLACRIL™ SELECT program launched by Thai Acrylic
Fibre Co. (TAF), Aditya Birla Group. BIRLACRIL™ SELECT program is a new Value Chain Management
concept has been launched by Thai Acrylic Fibre Co. (TAF), Aditya Birla Group for Textile & Apparel Value
Chain. The aim of this program, which is the first of its kind in acrylic fibre industry is to facilitate the global
sourcing of high quality products made with TAF’s regular and specialty fibres for apparel and technical textile end
-use.

Mr. Thomas Varghese, Business Head - Textiles, Acrylic Fibre & Overseas Spinning – Aditya Birla Group further
states, “Acrylic fibre industry is going through a lot of changes and our customers, value chain partners, brands
and retailers are looking for a reliable set of manufacturers that can provide good quality & high performance fibre,
yarns and fabrics to support their needs. After getting feedback from users of products made with acrylic fibre, it
made sense to us, as a technology provider to the industry, to start an accreditation program by creating a club of
our customers from where these end-users can be assured of getting a high performance product”.

the largest consumers of acrylic fibre in South East Asia.

Collaboration: Sol-Out launches new range with Durashine™

Sol-Out– the outdoor fabric brand from Bulliontex, made with 100%
Durashine™ solution dyed acrylic fibre - has launched a new range of
outdoor fabrics for furniture, awnings and marine exterior in the re-
cently concluded Baanlaesuan fair in Bangkok. The range is a mix-and-
match concept where designers can choose among plain solids, stripes
and jacquard designs for each of the 7 base shades which are yellows,
greens, blues, rust, chocolate and black.

The range was one of the key attractions of the fair. The fabrics are
getting converted into end-products like cushions, bean bags, garden
and beach chairs etc. to display in Spoga Gafa fair in Cologne,
Germany.
