PT2SB HSE Policy

We strive to be the industrial terminal of choice for the Pengerang Integrated Complex and we believe that our health, safety and environmental (HSE)
performance is the ultimate measure of our business success. Therefore, we will conduct our business only after considering the health and safety of
those involved, and the impact on the environment. Our commitment and policy reflects the integrated way we work across our terminal in these areas.

Commitment

At PT2SB, we are committed to:
• Protecting the safety and health of our employees, our customers, our contractors, the community and other third parties in conducting our activities;
• Ensuring our activities do not adversely affect the environment;
• Managing all HSE risks associated with our activities and provide control measures to eliminate or reduce the risks to a level as low as reasonably practicable (ALARP);
• Strictly adhering to health, safety and environmental laws and regulations and comply to applicable international codes and standards; including developing a culture towards a

self-regulating and sustainable HSE Performance.
• Ensure line management is responsible to demonstrate visible commitment and safety leadership while providing appropriate resources to implement this policy and the

enforcement thereof.
• Promote continuous improvement in our HSE management and performance by leveraging on people, process and technology.

Policy

We seek to achieve our commitment through:
• Identifying hazards and assessing risks before performing any activity and providing every reasonable and practicable resource, organization and system to prevent and

eliminate these hazards and risks;
• Ensuring safety is everyone’s responsibility and expecting every employee to contribute to the aim of prevention of accidents by reporting, analyzing and controlling safety,

health and environmental hazards. This will be supported by efficient and effective training programs and the development of annual HSE improvement plans;
• Engaging our neighbors and communities in the area we operate so that the risk from our activities are recognized and impacts mitigated; and
• Putting in place contingency plans to deal with and recover from any emergencies to ensure minimum impact.
Whilst I remain personally responsible to ensure that this commitment and policy is implemented and followed, all employees & contractors under our
control have a duty to manage HSE in line with this commitment and policy.

STOP Work Policy and Statements

Objektif penubuhan PGB Stop Dasar Kerja adalah untuk membentuk
budaya organisasi ke arah mengambil HSE sebagai keutamaan dalam
perniagaan.

Dasar ini juga telah dilaksanakan di lain Unit Perniagaan PETRONAS /
OPU seperti PP (M) SB, PCG, PP (T) SB, RAPID dan lain-lain

The objective of establishment PGB Stop Work Policy
is to shape organization culture towards taking HSE as
the priority in business.
Stop Work Policy has also been implemented at other
PETRONAS Business Unit/OPU such as PP(M)SB,
PCG, PP(T)SB, RAPID and etc

There shall be no blame or fault put on any
employees

Stop Work Order shall be applied in good faith.
Timing is critical. There should not be any delay

in calling Stop Work order if the need arises

Work that has ceased due to Stop Work shall not
be resumed until all HSE threats are cleared and

rectified

PETRONAS Alcohol & Drug Guidelines

PETRONAS is fully committed to ensure that its employees and

contractors are free from misuses substance.

Randomly screening will be conducted.
This is to ensure that :-

 No person shall use, be in possession or involve in the sale or
distribution of any kind of drug and alcohol.

 No person shall use, be in possession of or under the influence of any
drug.

Penalty : If any workers found influence by drug or alcohol, he or she will
be dismissed immediately

General Requirements and Obligations

1. CONTRACTOR shall comply with all RGTP / PT2SB HSE & Security Rules
and Regulations while working at RGTP / PT2SB facilities.

2. PETRONAS ZeTo Rules shall apply to all personnel working at RGTP /
PT2SB facilities.

3. CONTRACTOR shall commence any WORK only after prior authorization
from RGTP / PT2SB via Permit to Work (PTW) system.

4. PMT reserves the right to terminate the Contract if CONTRACTOR fails to
adhere to RGTP /PT2SB requirements.

5. Any undesired behavior will be treated as per the ‘Extended Consequence
Management Procedure for on site Contractor”.

6. PMT shall have the right to inspect CONTRACTOR workshop/site prior to
awarding and during servicing.
