Company Ltd. (Q-Chem)

Qatar Chemical Company Ltd. (Q-Chem) is owned by Mesaieed
Petrochemical Holding Company Q.S.C. (MPHC) - 49 percent,
Chevron Phillips Chemical International Qatar Holdings LLC - 49 percent,
and Qatar Petroleum (QP) - 2 percent.

The Q-Chem facility is a world-class integrated petrochemical plant
producing high-density and medium-density polyethylene (HDPE and
MDPE), 1-hexene and other products, using state-of-the-art technology
provided by Chevron Phillips Chemical, a major producer of chemicals
and plastics.

Over US$1 billion was invested to engineer, construct and commission
the Q-Chem facility, which began commercial operations in 2004.
Located in Mesaieed Industrial City, the Q-Chem complex has a production
capacity of 453,000 metric tons per annum (MTA) of polyethylene and a
1-hexene unit with a designed production capacity of 47,000 MTA.

The complex also consists of a sulfur recovery and solidification plant,
a water treatment plant, a seawater cooling system, dock facilities
and administrative buildings.

Qatar Chemical Company II Ltd. (Q-Chem II) QATAR CHEMICAL COMPANY LTD.

Following the outstanding performance of the first Q-Chem plant in terms of production, profitability and safety, our farsighted
founders embarked on a new US$2 billion project called Q-Chem II. Constructed adjacent to the Q-Chem plant, Q-Chem II’s facility
began operations in 2010 and includes 350,000 MTA of HDPE and the first full-range normal alpha olefins (NAO) unit in the State of
Qatar with an original production capacity of 345,000 MTA.
Q-Chem II is a joint venture between MPHC - 49 percent, Chevron Phillips Chemical International Qatar Holdings LLC - 49 percent,
and QP - 2 percent. The plant began commercial operations in 2010 and has raised the Q-Chem HDPE production capacity by
77 percent, from 453,000 MTA to 803,000 MTA, to meet the increasing demand of customers in Asia, Europe, and Africa. Similarly,
the NAO plant produces a full range of alpha olefins, including 1-butene, 1-hexene, 1-octene, 1-decene, and higher-molecular-
weight olefins. Both HDPE and NAO plants utilize Chevron Phillips Chemical’s proprietary loop-slurry process for high-density
polyethylene, which offers several advantages over competing gas-phase and solution-phase polyethylene processes.

Ras Laffan Olefins Company Ltd. (RLOC)

Ras Laffan Olefins Company Ltd. (RLOC) is owned by Q-Chem II - 53.31 percent and Qatofin Company Limited Q.S.C. (Qatofin) -
45.69 percent, and Qatar Petroleum - 1 percent. RLOC constructed a world-class 1.3 million MTA ethylene cracker unit, which
was inaugurated in 2010. The cracker is operated by Q-Chem II on behalf of RLOC partners. Ethylene produced by RLOC is
transported from Ras Laffan to Q-Chem II and Qatofin derivative units in Mesaieed via a 135 km pipeline. In Mesaieed, 700,000
MTA of ethylene is allocated to Q-Chem II and 600,000 MTA to Qatofin.

Normal Alpha Olefins and 1-Hexene

Normal alpha olefins (NAO) are linear hydrocarbons that have highly accessible terminal double
bonds. This property makes them ideal for manufacturing numerous products. NAOs and their
derivatives are used extensively as polyethylene comonomers, plasticizers, synthetic motor
oils, automotive additives, surfactants, and paper sizing agents, as well as in a wide range of
specialty applications. As major petrochemical building blocks, their use in the development of
new chemical products are virtually unlimited. In addition, we have on purpose 1-Hexene unit
that caters solely to the comonomer market.

‫المتزايدة في كل من آسيا وأوروبا وإفريقيا‪ .‬وكذلك ينتج مصنع الألفا أوليفينات العادية وحدة متكاملة من الأوليفينات يشمل بوتان ‪ 1-‬وهيكسين ‪1-‬‬
‫وأوكتين ‪ 1-‬وديسين ‪ ،1-‬ويستفيد كل من مصنعي البولي إيثلين والأوليفينات ألفا العادية من التكنولوجيا المقدمة من شركة شيفرون فليبس للكيماويات‬

‫للبولي إيثلين عالي الكثافة والتي تعطي ميزات عديدة تنافس تقنيات أخرى في عملية إنتاج البولي إيثلين‪.‬‬

‫شركة راس لفان للأوليفينس المحدودة (آرلوك)‬

‫شركة راس لفان للأوليفينس المحدودة المعروفة باسم (آرلوك) هي شركة قطرية ذات ملكية مشتركة بين شركة كيوكيم‪ 2‬وتمتلك نسبة ‪ 53.31%‬وشركة‬
‫قاتوفين المحدودة (قاتوفين) وتمتلك نسبة ‪ 45.69%‬وشركة قطر للبترول وتمتلك نسبة ‪ .1%‬تأسست شركة “آرلوك” كمصنع عالمي المستوى لتكسير‬
‫الإيثان وبقدرة إنتاجية بلغت ‪ 1.3‬مليون طن متري سنوي ًا والتي تم افتتاحها عام ‪ 2010‬ويتم تشغيل وحدة التكسير بواسطة شركة كيوكيم‪ 2‬بالنيابة عن‬
‫الشركاء في آرلوك‪ .‬يتم نقل الاثيلين المنتج من شركة ارلوك في راس لفان إلى وحدتي كيوكيم‪ 2‬وقاتوفين في مدينة مسيعيد الصناعية عبر خط انبوب‬
‫طوله ‪ 135‬كيلو متر حيث يخصص ‪ 700‬الف طن متري من الايثيلين لشركة كيوكيم‪ 2‬و‪ 600‬الف طن متري لشركة قاتوفين‪.‬‬
