16 Four Opinions, One Discussion. Let's Go! Consider different points of view, agree or disagree and give some arguments. B Bob I am strongly against wearing fur and buying clothing items made of fur. It is cruel to animals, and there are plenty of alternative materials available. I also find it unnecessary and a waste of money. I remember one time when I saw a woman in a full-length mink coat at a protest against animal cruelty. It was ironic and upsetting. M Maggie I think it's okay to wear fur as long as the animals were ethically raised and killed. I love my rabbit fur hat, and it keeps me warm in the winter. It's also a luxury item that I cherish. I remember my grandfather giving me his fur coat that he wore in the 70s. It's a stylish and retro piece that I love wearing to fancy events. J Josh I'm hesitant about wearing fur because I understand the ethical concerns. On the other hand, I like the look of fur trim on coats and jackets. It adds a touch of glamour and warmth. I remember being gifted a vintage coat with fur trim, and I felt conflicted about wearing it. I ended up taking off the trim and donating it to a local animal shelter. S Samantha It is absolutely disgusting to wear the skin of an animal that was brutally killed just for fashion. Anyone who wears fur lacks empathy and compassion. I can't stand seeing someone wearing fur on the street. It makes me sick. I remember seeing a video of animals being skinned alive for their fur, and it traumatized me.
