Assalamua’laikum w.b.t dan salam sejahtera. Setinggi-tinggi kesyukuran dipanjatkan ke hadrat Allah SWT kerana dengan limpah kurnia-Nya, Hari Inovasi Jabatan Kejuruteraan Awam (JKA) Sesi 1: 2023/2024 dapat direalisasikan dengan jayanya. Penganjuran Hari Inovasi Jabatan Kejuruteraan Awam adalah program yang akan dijalankan setiap semester melibatkan semua pelajar yang mengambil Kursus Final Year Project 2 (DCC50194), Topical Study (DCG50232) dan Design Studio 5 (DCA50226) di mana kursus ini merupakan kursus yang wajib diambil oleh pelajar-pelajar Diploma Kejuruteraan Awam, Diploma Geomatik dan Diploma Seni Bina untuk melayakkan mereka menerima diploma. Pelajar-pelajar ini akan membentangkan hasil projek akademik sama ada merupakan produk inovasi atau kajian penyelidikan dari pelbagai cabang bidang dalam kejuruteraan awam, geomatik dan seni bina. Projek akademik yang dilaksanakan oleh pelajar merangkumi kerja-kerja eksperimen di makmal, pencerapan data di lapangan, analisis data dan kajian rekabentuk yang menjurus kepada bidang kejuruteraan awam, geomatik dan seni bina. Di dalam kursus projek akhir pelajar biasanya pelajar akan menterjemahkan segala ilmu kejuruteraan yang telah mereka pelajari selama 5 semester di politeknik, dengan dibantu pensyarah sebagai penyelia atau pemudah cara untuk memastikan proses pembangunan projek yang dibuat menepati nilai-nilai kejuruteraan. Tujuan utama program ini dilaksanakan ialah memberi peluang dan menyediakan platform kepada bakal-bakal graduan mempamerkan hasil inovasi dan kajian mereka. Selain itu, Hari Inovasi Jabatan Kejuruteraan Awam ini diharapkan dapat memberi pendedahan yang berlainan kepada para pelajar di bawah platform dunia penyelidikan dan inovasi. Akhir kata, syabas diucapkan kepada semua yang bertungkus-lumus menjayakan hari inovasi ini dan semoga jasa baik anda semua mendapat rahmat dari Ilahi serta hari inovasi ini mencapai matlamat yang telah disasarkan. This kit integrates cutting-edge methodologies and tools to measure, analyze, and elongate the elongation of coarse aggregates and ensure they meet the specified quality standards for use in construction. The kit features a user-friendly interface for easy navigation and accessibility. It also provides a seamless experience for users at various levels of expertise. The elongation index is calculated as the percentage by mass of elongated aggregate particles- beyond a specified ratio to their least dimension. In order to facilitate the elongation index calculation process, we have developed an app for computation. The Innovation Elongation Test Kit represents a pioneering tool in construction work, the innovation's ability to measure the elongation of coarse aggregate and reduce and optimize the time taken to process the test. The thickness of stones has been studied in accordance with the BS812 Standard size with the use of tools like the Flakiness Gauge and Flakiness Sieve. With the times rapidly shifting into the current era, a new product called the Flakiness Test Kit was developed. It has the same capability as its predecessor, but it's easier to use, saves time, and offers more applications for calculation techniques to speed up work. Many studies have been conducted to address the non-revenue water problem in our nation, which is a significant concern for the majority of developing nations and governments. Through conducting interviews with Merlimau inhabitants, the researcher was able to determine the cause of the NRW and analyse the percentage of people who knew about it. Books and journals are the primary sources of information used to further the research objectives. It was discovered that physical loss, such as leaks or broken pipes, accounts for the majority of the causes of non-responsible water (NRW). This research objective is to study the e-waste disposal acknowledgement among residents at Taman Ayer Keroh Heights and to determine the disposal method at the collection center. The method that were used for this study is by conducting some interviews and by handling out questionnaires to the residents. The problem statement from this study is on buckled floor tiles occurring at Projek Perumahan Rakyat Krubong that hurt users. The objective achieved is to identify the factors of the buckled floor tiles, to identify the impact on the resident when the floor tiles buckled, and to determine the solution of buckled tiles in terms of technical aspects.One of the most prevalent issues in homes is the obvious conclusion of buckled floor tiles, which makes it difficult for occupants to stay. This study examined the issues surrounding municipal solid waste management from the perspectives of physical, mental, emotional, and social health. It also examined the safety and health practices stipulated in the contract and created a framework for achieving sustainable solid waste management in terms of safety and health.

The advantage of this trash can is equipped with a sensor where it can detect a fire that can cause dangerous effects if immediate action is not taken and a buzzer that emits a sound when it detects something hot or a fire. This product is intended for public use as well as saving space and guaranteeing the safety of public use. Focusing on the use of people who can save the use of space in the trash can to keep the environment clean.

The majority of people who answered the questionnaire agreed with the products we recommend. Finally, hope that this product can help individuals in need out there.

This study is caused from the issues like disposal of waste is dumped everywhere so that it increases at a high rate due to the increase in population. It is common knowledge that at present there are still many problems that have not found a solution and it still continues as a problem. Especially about the problem of garbage that is still not well managed can be the responsible party. This product have two technology system which is arduino system and loadcell system. The advantage of this product is can keep the hygiene for the user, easy to access and have a alert notification for the user to well managed the garbage.

As is well known, this instrument plays a critical role in restoring damaged road pavers. As a result, the current paver extractor tool is not very functional and has several flaws. Thus, it is a terrific idea to innovate this tool, which will probably have a big impact on the engineering industry. The primary areas for innovation are longevity, time savings when using the tool, and energy consumption while using the tool.

The result is data that has been obtained from four homestays in Merlimau, namely Homestay Plot Sawit, Homestay Santai D' Villa, Homestay Rizky and Homestay Nada Cahaya, based on the quality of their pool water. The problem statement of this study is green pool water causes swimmers to experience eye pain and chloramines form when pool water is not treated correctly. The objective is to test the quality of swimming pool water according to parameters which are pH, chlorine, turbidity and e-coli and to compare the water quality is comply with the Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia(KKM) standard in the swimming pool water quality monitoring guidelines.

Research on safety during road maintenance provides crucial advantages, including reduced accidents, enhanced worker protection, minimized traffic disruptions, and improved overall road safety for users.

The formulation utilizes a combination of paper waste, rice husk, and coconut coir as sustainable alternatives, each carefully proportioned at varying percentages for optimal structural integrity and eco-conscious construction.
