Beat brown sugar, shortening and vanilla in large bowl with Division 155 - QUICK BREADS
electric mixer on med speed til well blended. Beat in eggs.
Stir together flour, cocoa, salt and baking soda in small bowl. All items to be in place between 3:00 & 7:00 p.m.
Gradually add to shortening mixture beating til blended. Stir in
choc. chips. Cover and chill 2 hours. Heat oven to 375 degrees. Tuesday – Nothing accepted after 7:00 p.m.

6. MISCELLANEOUS EXHIBITOR RULES:
a. Any exhibitor not present when their animal is to be sold in the ring to our 2015 Hancock County Junior Fair Livestock Sale Buyers

b. Any exhibitor receiving an incomplete on their Livestock Interview

be allowed during the sale. Violating this rule will result in forfeiture

d. Livestock Sale checks will be given out at Achievement Night or
mailed to the exhibitor as soon as the records are complete and
sufficient buyer funds are collected.

e. A $30 fee will be assessed to reissue any Livestock Sale check.

7. PRE-SALE & SALE RESPONSIBILITIES/RULES:
a. The Sale Committee, Junior Fair Board, Senior Fair Board, and other
volunteers will assist with preparing the arena for the sale.
b. The Superintendents will provide a Market Buyer (except Dairy, Dairy
Feeders, and Steers) and confirm the Market Price per pound for
their respective species to the Sale Office by Saturday at noon, will
confirm the sale order prepared by the Sale Office, and assist with
preparing their department for Sale Day.
c. The Sale Office will be responsible for preparing the sale sheets and
other paperwork.
d. Only the Sale Committee and Staff Members will have contact with
the Auctioneers while “Crying the Sale.”

8. BREAKDOWN OF EXHIBITOR PAYOUT:
