Mr. Debjit Sarkar Photografeed Photo Association of Barrackpore popularly knowns as
Founder Photografeed was founded by Mr. Suraj Dutta and Mr. Debjit Sarkar
along with co-founder Mr. Niladri Shankar Paul and Mr. Pankaj Dutta
(AFIP) on 25th April 2018. Being one of the greatest platforms on
Facebook it provides photographers from all around the globe
irrespective of age to showcase their talents. Starting with a family of
75 members on the first day it consists of 5100+ members as
recorded on april 2021.

Mr. Niladri S. Paul Organizing two exhibitions consecutively on November 2019 and
Co-Founder December 2020 which gathered photo enthusiasts from all around
the globe to put forward their clicked pictures to be displayed in
Gallery Gold, Kolkata one of the renowned art gallery in West Bengal.

Photografeed got registered under the Federation of Indian
Photography as a National Photo Club in the month of December
2020. After which it was named Photografeed Photo Association of
Barrackpore. Since then participation in salons has began as a club
acquiring numerous acceptances and awards in FIP recognized
Salons.

Hi,myself, Hirak born and brought up from kalyani, Nadia..
Currently I am a mining professional and I completed my
Doctor in Philosophy in Applied Geology in year 2014.. Since
2006 I am working overseas and currently located in
Indonesia..

when did you start Photography?

I purchased my first camera in 2018; it was Sony
A7Mark II and I count myself into photography since
then.

Which gear do you use?

Currently I am using Sony A7RMark III and Sony
A7Mark III.. I have lenses like: 24-70mm F 2.8 Sony
GM as my main lens, 100-400 Sigma Contemporary
lens, 70-350 Sony G lens, 14-24mm F 2.8 Sigma Art
series lens and 15mm F 2.0 Laowa Prime lens.. I have

3 tripods: Manfroto, Leofoto and Benro.

Which genre of photography are you into?

I consider myself as travel photographer mainly and
doing astrolandscape is my main motivation for
photography.

Best lens and camera according to you?

I didn't tried too many cameras or brands; I am major Sony
user and If I have to suggest one camera and lens for a
beginner; I might suggest Sony A7III and 24-105 F4 Sony G
lens. For Nikon user, I might suggest D750 with 24-120mm F
4 lens.For Canon, I might suggest for 6DM2 with 24-105 F
3.5-6.3 lens.

Whose work influenced you the most?

I am big fan of Nigel Danson and Mark Denny.

ASTRO-LANDSCAPE

Out of all my astro-landscape and landscape, this particular picture has special emotional link.. It was
my first solo trip to Himalaya, It was my first dedicated astrolandscape trip, It was my first Milkyway

Panorama and that too in Himalayan terrain; I had to shoot 33 vertical images in 3 layers to create this
single Panorama of Chitkul Valley along with its surrounding mountains.

What is the most difficult part of being a
photographer ?

I guess being a tourist and being a photographer there is a
basic difference; patience and being humble only can create a
magical story. So, I guess, the most difficult part of being
photographer is being humble to accept whatever nature is
offering to you.

What is the most rewarding part of being
a photographer?

Most rewarding part of being photographer is self
satisfaction. No rewards, no achievement can replace the
self satisfaction of witnessing mother Earth's offering and
do justice to it.

WINTER WONDERLAND KASHMIR

started my photography to witness and preserve the beauty of nature especially in dark nights.. then
slowly I grew interest in nature and landscape photography too.

Recently I finished my trip to winter wonderland Kashmir.. It was my first time in Kashmir and its
beauty just blew away my mind.. I traveled to Gulmarg, Sonmarg, Dudh Pathri and Pahelgaon.. During

my trip, all I wanted to see and tell the story of human existence in extreme nature.

It since 2019 I know team Photografeed. With course of time
again and again I find their potential as host in a social media
platform and in their real life events too. Their sincerity,
honesty and fairness to art and art lovers is strikingly different
from many other online platforms. I am a NRI for so many
years and yet they consider me and my works based on its
merit; what else can someone like me ask!! I was so happy
about their recent relation with FIP and I am quite sure they
will keep growing strongly with them. Good luck!!

I am an IT professional by profession. My photographic
journey began about a decade ago. I love to capture wildlife
in their natural habitat. My Photographs have been
recognized in different national and international salons
and other platforms like 35Awards, Nat Geo, ViewBug, 500px
etc.

When did you start Photography?

I started photography back in 2001.

Which gear do you use?

Nikon D7200 and Nikkor 200-500 mm

Which genre of photography are you into?

I am into wildlife photography.

Camera Nikon D500 and D850

I have been influenced by David Yarrow a lot.

When a wise photographer appreciates your work.

What do you like least about being a
photographer?

Disturbing or irritating wild animals for capturing
shots.
