Toilet Blocks

toilet space is the least that a
student or faculty can ask for
in a school. The Sane Guruji
Vidya Niketan, Sanegaon,
Roha, Raigad will soon have
very clean and dignified restrooms for students and faculty
all thanks to the efforts of RCMP. This was a dream project
of PP Rtn. Sakthivel for years and is now finally going to
come true due to the kind support of Rtn. Ghotikar ji and
family. On 01.09.2021 the project has been kicked off with
a bhoomi puja done by President Rtn. Unmesh Sawant and
IPP Rtn.Jyoti Babladi.

Cataract Screening Camps were
conducted at Nalasopara and Vasai

256 Ration kits were distributed to 3 villages of
Karanjveera, Dhonkar and Sudkoli. These
essential rations were procured due to the kind
donations by our RCMPians, notably supported
by Legend Aid Foundation (which been a devoted
supporter of RCMPs projects), Ram Roti
Foundation and BE For Someone Foundation
(run by our own Rtn. Sunita Shetye).

61 ladies from Sudkoli village received blankets
generously donated by Rtn. Himanshu Kawley.

In gratitude, many RCMPians and others stepped
ahead to support these projects inf the form of
donations, rations at reduced rates, help in
procuring books etc.

The Desire Society runs homes for
very special young ones-
immunocompromised children whose
families are unable or unwilling to
keep them at home. The Malad home
has 32 girls aged 2 to 23 years and one
5 year young little boy - all getting
medical care they need, education and
leading safe and healthy lives which
nurture their immunocompromised
life spans. RCMP delivered dry rations
for a month which were received from
a generous corporate donors. Club

Polio Drive and N95 Masks for Polio Volunteers

27-Feb-2022: RCMP Reaches Out to
Over 5,600 Young Lives with a “Polio
dose Sunday”. February 27th 2022,
was a Polio Pulse Drive Day organised
by MCGM. RCMP was proud to
support MCGM’s Healthcare Centers
in:
• Logistical support for transport of

Polio vaccine & the volunteers
could reach out 60 different
locations and secure 5,600 young
lives with a dose of Polio vaccine.
• Over 230 of MCGM’s Staff plus
volunteers were presented with the
protection of N95 mask each.
• Each of the MCGM staff member &
volunteer was presented with a
“Pulse Polio Volunteer” badge. This
badge opened gates of society
buildings to volunteers who were
otherwise not allowed to enter in
and vaccinate the young ones.

scissors and Potts scissors - both are fine
instruments used for the purpose of
tissue cutting in paediatric open heart
surgeries. These instruments will benefit
around 400-500 children per year.

related break and it is time to replenish old

Felicitation of
War Veterans

RCMP had helped to organize a get-together
and felicitation programme for war veterans of
36 Maratha Regiment, who fought in the 1962,
1965 and 1971 wars. The team also paid a tribute
to (Late) CDS Gen Bipin Rawat. The entire
troupe of Soulful Saturdays travelled with the
club members to Pune and organized a
wonderful musical programme for the veterans.
