Together the board of directors’ assets collectively exceed $10 Billion dollars to form a formidable force in the hotel industry. This enables the association to effectively fight for the rights and interests of the industry from concerning parties and strengthens the power of the Asian hotel real estate industry. Aside from the hotel industry, the Association is also diversely invested in Real Estate, Construction, Finance as well as the Food industry. Mission ˙To unite the strength of the hotels and protect the interests of the industry ˙To establish a platform to enhance the status of its members. ˙Resolve industry-related problems by sharing industry information. ˙Learn and share advanced management tactics. ˙Train and produce professionals and maintain the hotels integrity. Vision The America Hotel Owners Charitable Association works tirelessly to solve industry related problems while sharing the experience and news within the association. We actively coordinate and communicate with government ministries to enable owners to grasp a clearer understanding of the laws and regulations of the hotel industry. On August 27, 2015, Mr. John Lam mobilized more than a dozen New York hotel owners to hold a preparatory meeting for the establishment of the American Hotel Owners Charitable Association in Manhattan. In the past two decades, Mr. Lam has built 55 buildings, 33 hotels, wholly owned 21 hotels in the United States, and some hotels are under construction at the present time, while managing more than 100 hotels. The Lam Group is a comprehensive real estate group involved in Garment Making, Real Estate Development, Hotel Construction, Hotel Operations and Hotel Management. The group was founded in the early seventies and after the initial 10 years, the group has grown to thirteen garment factories, and nine ready-to-wear brands. The company’s annual sales totaled over $100 million US dollars making it the largest garment manufacturer and wholesaler in New York. As acting chairman of the New York Garment Industry Chamber of Commerce, Mr. John Lam was leading the largest garment chamber of commerce in New York. At the peak of the garment industry, The Lam Group consisted of more than 2,000 employees and 30,000 affiliate employees in its members. With 40 years of experience in real estate development experience, and after personally witnessing 4 real estate booms and crashes, Mr. Lam has accurately predicted the trend of real estate and has been successful in planning and monitoring all his building projects. As a new immigrant Mr. Su has a big American dream on being a very successful entrepreneur in life. He started his first business adventure as grocery store owner, from there he transforms himself by getting involved into the hotel industry, after years of dedication and hard work, people in our community around him, call him a hotel tycoon, currently he owns four hotels in Manhattan. Mr. Su is not only successful in business, but he is also devoted and committed to the Chinese residents and people in the Myanmar community in the United States. In 1996, he was appointed to be the Chairman of the Myanmar Chinese Association. Mr. Su has been elected as Chairman of the Myanmar US Chamber of Commerce since 2012, chairman of the World Hakka Association, chairman of American Su Clan Association, board member of Chinatown B. I.D, chairman of Longyan Association of America Inc, president of Wyndham Garden Chinatown. To help the Asian American hotel owners with their needs, Mr. Su and a group of successful Asian American Hotel owners formed the America China hotel association back in 2016. He has served both as director and president for the organization in the past 10 years. During his tenure in CACP, he has prompted several local construction associations joining forces with CACP to create a unified organization. Andy is also a long-time advocate of building a national network for its members to connect with other professionals, share resources, and inspire opportunities. In May of 2022, CACP elected Andy Jiang to serve as the 1st CACP Chairman to oversee the nationwide CACP development. Just after a few months in the new role, he has helped establishing new CACP chapters in Illinois, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Washington D.C. with the support of local area leaders and entrepreneurs. Andy Jiang is the founder and president of AJ Construction that provides full range construction services for industrial, commercial and residential buildings. For over 25 years, he has been contributing to construction industry in California, achieving effectiveness and efficiency for his clients and business partners. Always a designer and builder, Andy Jiang had designed and built automobiles before he focused on designing and building properties. Hung manages the daily operations of the Lam Group hotel portfolio and serves as head of franchise relations. He is responsible for developing strategic plans for each property in regards to marketing, time management, budgeting and working with the management company to increase return on investment. Following a number of successful entrepreneurial endeavors' in the Fashion Industry, Manufacturing, Importing and Real Estate Development, Hung decided some 15 -20 years ago to expand the Real Estate side of the business into hotel investments. Since that time Hung has been associated with over forty hotel projects with a variety of brands including Starwood Hotels, Marriott Hotels, IHG, Hilton Hotels, Wyndham Hotels, Choice, Best Western, and independent boutique hotels. Hung's first major venture with Starwood's brands was the decision to brand the 158 Room Manhattan, Chelsea as a Four Points by Sheraton. Since then, Hung has developed multiple Four Points by Sheraton's throughout New York City, and has developed other Starwood Legacy brands including Aloft and Sheraton. Hung has been involved in the development of nine Starwood Legacy Brands hotels in New York City. Many of these developments have been carried out in tandem with developing and branding other hotels doing business under the Marriott & Intercontinental and Hilton Hotels brands. The Lam Group is currently building the first Virgin Hotel in New York City scheduled to open early in 2020. This forty-story steel and glass tower with 465 Guest Rooms has a prime location on Broadway between 29th & 30th Streets known as the NoMad neighborhood. In addition to a banquet hall, meeting space, conference rooms and multiple restaurants the hotel will also have a roof top sky bar and for leisure and recreation, a stunning pool and spa facility. There will also be 75,000 square feet of Retail space located at the base of the hotel The unique and distinctive look of the Virgin Hotel - New York is for sure guaranteed to play a key role in the New York City NoMad neighborhood’s transformation process. In addition to all the hotel development, Hung is also developing several residential Condominium and commercial projects. Hung is an executive committee member of ASFONA and has served on Advisory Boards of many major hotel companies and other businesses.

Mr. Seidel serves as the leader of one of Marriott’s Franchise Advisory Council as well as an advisor on the Bonvoy loyalty and distribution boards, also a member of the IHG Owner’s Advisory Council. He serves the greater industry as a board member for both the American Hotel and Lodging Association and the Maryland Lodging Association and serves as a steering committee member of NYC & Co, one of the nation’s top destination marketing organizations for the city of New York. Since joining CMP in 2011, Lee leads the organization to embark on creating new programs that are responsive to the changing job market as well as the increasingly diverse skill levels of Asian American immigrants. In responding to the current health and economic crisis, Lee reallocated CMP resources and human capital to help workers and entrepreneurs in this time of great distress, offering assistance to help them secure various government and private relief programs. Mark has held senior positions in the public sector over the years, including Executive Director of Westchester County’s Human Rights Commission and Director of its Consumer Protection Department. Joseph Yi is the Chief Investment Officer for Real Hospitality Group, a top tier hotel operator and owner with over 100 hotels under its portfolio and with 4 offices including its first international office in Shanghai, China opened in 2020. Mr. Yi established and is the Managing Director for RHG Investment Company in 2017, a wholly owned affiliate of Real Hospitality Group that focuses on investing in the lodging sector. In addition to leading RHG’s investment goals and strategies, Mr. Yi sits on the executive committee of RHG advising on the overall direction of the company and business practices. Mr. Yi’s investment experience spans almost 2 decades, including over $4 billion in hotel investments.
