Lone Star College’s Story of Growth

From 2010 to 2020, Lone Star College’s
households in the in-district service area
grew by 25% (Up from 599k to 791K).

2 In the past decade LSC experienced

tremendous growth adding two (2) new
locations, University Park and Houston
North.

Since Fall 2011, LSC increased from
76,000 credit students to 86,000
students in Fall 2020 –13% increase.

10% LSC serves North Harris and Montgomery
counties, with 10% of our students
graduates feeding in from 14 service
areas and surrounding ISDs.

Veteran Outreach, Advising & Financial Services
• Coordination of system-wide Financial Services and Advising for veteran students
• Oversight and leadership in the development, integration, and execution of all

communication activities, including public media. In conjunction with System and
college staff, administers a comprehensive Veteran’s assistance program, and
develops, implements, and ensures consistency and compliance in such services
