"We expect to lower our scores
each week and work on our game so we
can enjoy it after high school."
This is the goal of the Boys Var-
sity Golf Team. Practicing twice every-
day, both in the mornings before school
in the mezzanine and after school at
Spring Lake Golf Course with Coach
Kirk McLaughlin, the guys worked to
achieve this goal.
Kyle Hunter and Joe Villafuerte,
both juniors, are the returning members
of the team. These two have their hands
full with helping all the "new rookies."
These "new rookies" include Nadir
Mahiah, a junior, and freshmen Tyler
Bieterman, John Endrise, Mike Van
Heitsma, John Rucker, and Brett Kudlacz.
The team's first match was a J.V.
tournament at Shoreline Country Club
held over Spring Break. The rest of the
team's matches/tournaments were all at
the Varsity level.
