Can it be possible that four years are over so quickly?
Although each day may have dragged. looking back to our freshman
year makes it seem as if it were only a fe w short weeks ago.
Thinking about what each of us has accomplished g ives us a
sense of perspecti ve. Four years is really a long time, and during that
time we have learned so much and not only in our classes. We have
learned who o ur real friends are, how imp011ant it is to work hard for
so mething we want. what we really value. how to manage our ti me,
and what we plan for the days after we graduate.
Being senio rs means that soon we w ill start all over agai n.

Through the past four years of our lives, we all have experi-
enced things that nothing, not even time, will erase. We have
developed everlasting friendships and skills beyond our beliefs.
Every individual here has commented about how he or she wishes
that the time would rapidly arrive, so we can all just get out of
here.
Now that the time has approached, you probably don't feel
the same anxiety as you did before. Everything that seemed so
easy to leave behind now seems like the hardest things to replace:
those walks down the hallway, the chats in the lunch room, the
late night games, friendships, classrooms, just about everything
that seemed meaningless, now has gained meaning.
What we have done these past years is experienced life and
many of its blessings. We have all grown and learned how to
embrace life and its challenges. And now the time has come to
move one and continue our lives. There is no doubt that we will
succeed. Congratulations Class of 2004!

Even though the seniors might not agree. there are many un-
derclassmen at South High, and they are an important part of our enroll-
ment. From the first time they enter South High as a nervous freshmen,
to the last months of their junior year, the underclassmen at South are
loud and they're proud.
The three years preceding senior year are packed with impor-
tant events: getting a first j ob, learning how to drive, starting to date,
planning for college, - all of these occasions lead to a maturity which
shows itself in small steps, all leading up to senior year.
