In spite of the dreary weather, the girls' Alaln Haines, Jim Ignowski,
and Josh Priester are patiently

Under the direction of coaches Mr. Gerard
Kowal and Ms. Angie Johnson, the team had its
high points. Practices were held after school at
Lynch Park. Rain sent the team members into
the gym on several occasions.

were team leaders, according ta. Mr. Kowal.
The golf team suffered from the same
weather problems as the tennis team. Holding
practices at Spring Lake Golf Course, the
Packers worked with coach Ms. Holly Rogers.
Junior Andy Hunter led the golf team with
the most consistent play. "We put in 100
percent effort throughou~ the season," Hunter
said.

Track team finds "Track is a very competitive sport that

Raining season
delays baseball
Due to the rain, many of the games were Baseball scores
postponed to after the deadline of the Coach: Mario Remijio
supplement.

Coach Mario Remijio said, "It is a learning South 2 Papio 10
year due to the number of young players on the Prep 11
team." Most of the team was made up of juniors South 1 Millard North 10
and sophomores. "I think that if this group of Central 9

Pease (catcher), Mike Gilbert (first base), Jeff
Nacarelli (second base), Pat Sargent (third base),
Dan Sargent (short stop), Rick Menicucci (left
field), Johnie Andrews (center field), Kolby Gray
(right field), and Brian Kudym (pitcher).
"Jeff Nacarelli is a hard worker and a good
player. Brian Kudym is a good hitter, good
pitcher, and knows the game. Pat Sargent is a
good hittter and good pitcher. Chris Pease is a
very good catcher and good competitor," said
Remijio.
The other players were Jay Ignowski, Mike
Gilbert, Bernie Vacek, Phil Kirschbaum, Johnie
