Our high school is one of the few in the

choices that range from woodworking and draf-

When one leaves South High he or she is pre-

In drafting classes, students learn how to de-

other shop classes students build furniture and work

Housed in the former Technical High School

Directing commerclals is a hard job.
I t's the last year of your high school
days. It's the time to say goodbye
and to remember the good times
that you had with all of your friends.
But it is also the year to hope for the fu-
ture, the new job you're going to start or
the college that you've dreamed of at-
tending.
Let's face it, this is a time of excite-
ment, but it can also be one of the har-
dest phases in life. There are so many
choices to make. But here's some free
advice. Don't sit back and let things hap-
pen to you, make things happen. Be ag-
gressive but smile, because things aren't
always as bad as they seem.
The experiences you have had at
South will help you to face the world of
the future, a world rapidly approaching
now that you're seniors. This is your time!

FOR PEOPLE
I )(i(i eople" . .. a term we
use to describe the
underclassmen pop-
ulation here at South.
The freshmen, sophomores and juniors
are the ones who fill the classrooms with
noise and confusion.
Underclassmen are the ones who
are blamed when there is an accident
in the halls. They are the ones who trip
down the stairs or try to open the
wrong locker. But underclassmen are
not all bad; they do have some good
qualities. They do know how to stick
their tongues out very professionally
and they do know how to laugh at a
joke, so these people are nice to have
around.
