place of reserve baseball. This league had six teams. Each team

Joe Kratky's Hot Shots WOP the title with four victories. Fin-
nerty's team copped second p!ace ilosing orJy one game to the
champs.
The other four teams erided: Sullivan, two losses; McNam-
ara, and Goidenusky, three losses.

The red and white team lost but one meet this season. This
was lost to Cherokee by a one point mai>gin. The score was 19½
to 20½.
The Packer team defeated Fort Dodge, Iowa state champions
and runnersup in tne national meet .
MeYer, Moravec, Ge1•gevi.c, and Sorensen, won berths on the
~ll city team, and co-caplams Moravec and Gerjevic, won ir,divid-
ual honors in the state meet.

Johnny Goodman, '27, wer1t into the finals of the National
Amateur tournament at Five Farms course in Baltimore, Sept. 17,
losir..g to Ross Summervil.e of Canada in the finals.
Gqodman ;placed first amoqg amateurs in the 1932 National
Open Tourr,(<:tment with a total of 302 points.
He won the Open Keg tournament h~ld in Excelsio1' Spring'l;_(t'•
Mo., i~ April 1933. In the Florida Winter tournament he placed
e'ighth and was first among amatetu1s. His total was 288.
Goodman was elected presidert of the alumni association in
October.
