Died May 13, 1932
"Continued on q ,xt page," he said,
And then his soul took foght
Returned to his Creator
To the realm of light.
"Continued on rr3xt page." Like grass
That flourished for an hour
A.nd withered in a biting wind
His youth went down in flower.
"Continued on next page" he spoke,
And iike a tale that's toid
His years were spent, but on he went
To the streets of gold.
"Continued on nex~ page." He told
With his last futile breath
Of immortal life that wi.l unroll
In an eternal endless scroll
Victorious over death.

The In sert Sheets
By Mildred Kratky
Now that you've glanced through aJl of these pages,
You've ~een all of your teachers, y'our clubs, your fun,
You've gazed upo , a lot of your friends,
And thought about each page but one.
That' page is the i\.,sert sheet all along,
That you'Ye seen and passed after one look,
lf you paused but a minute to figure it out,
There's material enough for a book.
These show experiments. and musical notes,
Typing, chemi$try , ar,d art,
Auto mechanics, footbal l, and gym,
Al1 thi r,~s in which students take part.
Now just go back a:r.d take one more look,
A puzzle could be no more fun .
See if you can accurately find
The things that how each one.

TO ALL THE 1932-1933 GRADUATES.
BY MILDRED KRATKY
September March
Some graduates leave in the fall. Some graduates leave in the spring;
They think that they know It all, While they are in school they're king.
But they have a long grind, And when they get out,
For a job's hard to find, They say with a shout,
"Just to be back in school." they call. "I'm glad now I know everything!"
December June
In December we lose many friends , Some graduates leave us in June.
For some, school life then ends. We hate them to leave us so soon.
But we'll not rorgei. But It Is well known,
And they'll not regret, They'll be on their own.
What a great time in school one spends. With the world chorus they 'll play a tune.

FORWARD
By
Claude Summers
The curtain goes down or, our ~outh High days-
On those happy days that are gone;
And now we stand on the threshold of life
And gaze toward the mists beyoQd.
As the long long road before us unrolls
And the mountains of life we c.limb,
We will r.ever forget our teachings at So1=1th,
Though our past drifts far behind.
South gives us a statt up the mount: of success;
Soon we will reach the first bend ;
And during the race let's not slacken the pace
But fight bravely OPi to the end.
When the race is won and we've r eached the goal,
And we face the setting sun,
May we gather again ir, old South High
· And rej oice o'er the batt!es we've won.
