MQ60 User manual 83 instrument and specimen preparation safety protection The operator should wear safety protection, in order to avoid hazard of reagents andspecimen expose. install waste box Before preparing specimen and reagent, should check whether there are left disposal tips; if so, bring the box out, and take out the disposal tips and re-install waste box. Attention: experiments 20 times or one week should change the waste box. Graph 114 install the waste box specimen preparation Make sure at the adding specimen process no bubble occur, add 100ul specimen. Install reagents strips. Take out reagent from refrigerator, should make experiments at once; avoid exposingreagent in normal air long time. Should install reagent strip on the reagent cassette rack as following order, shouldnote below few points when installing: o When taking reagent cassette, take the edge of reagent cassette, avoidtouching aluminum seal probe slot, touch aluminum seal or probe slot will cause the test results difference. o Attention: avoid other kind of liquid touching probe slot, which will causethe test results difference. o Do not use the reagents fallen in the floor, that will cause the test resultsdifference. o Before testing, Inverting reagent lightly at horizon, eliminate bubble at thewall of reagent cassette or liquid inside the aluminum seal reagent box

MQ60 User manual 84 Graph 115 Insert reagent tray into reagent slot Use pipette add specimen to reagent cassette specimen slot as requirements (100ul). Eliminate bubble before testing. Attention: After finishing preparation, please start to make experiments at once. Precipitated red cells in whole blood and specimen vaporized will influence results. Make sure not to do any edition to well-set specimen information. After test finished, detected specimen concentration will indicate at relevant lineinformation. test finished Abandon the tips Take out tips from waste box, throw away used tips please followthelocal management rules. Return the waste box into position. Attention: experiments 20 times or one week should change the waste box.

MQ60 User manual 88 Graph 122 waste box dispose the waste cassette take out reagent cassette rack from equipment, remove used reagent cassette. Paymore attention not to make reagent dropped or flashed fromreagent cassette. Throw away used cassettes please follow the local management rules. Calibration test The follow chapter detailed described how to test the Calibration reagents. Calibration purpose In order to get a credible result, we need proceed calibration experiments to confirmcalibrationcurve, before the patients specimen experiments. Standard curve or calibration curve exceed thelimit time need re-calibration, before the calibration experiment please make sure all reagents and calibratornot expire. About calibration calibrator(CAL) Use recommended calibrator, frozen calibration must firstly handle with diluent andbuffer in ready. Repeat calibration make repeat calibration experiment(general twice) CAL starting time Bring new experiment project Reagent batch change

MQ60 User manual 89 CAL expire QC over control scope Even the same batch, need to use new purchased reagent Optics/after maintaining drop and add system CAL validity According to different projects, CAL has different date of validity; please refer to packageexplanation in details. Attention CAL experiments should make at the same batch reagent and experiment project. During double holes testing, calibration can choose access to make experiments; but calibration variety and quantity must meet experiments requirements. During making new experiment project or new batch reagent experiment, inputtingbarcode information including reagent cassette. calibration valid The same calibration dot, different test line, difference is equal or greater thanplus-minus 30% Low concentration test value higher than higher concentration. There is 20% difference between new test value and original value. When above situation occurred, confirm this calibration experiment failed. Check calibration status Before making calibration, input calibration information into system through scanning reagent barcode。Click “Reagent management” button at main interface of system (as graph main interface (calibrationexperiment)) Select the reagents kind and relevant batch no. Which you need check, at ‘reagents management’, afterchoosing, switch label page to “calibration management” ”calibration management” ; Throughchecking whether show calibration under the batch No., distinguish the reagent whether registeredcalibration in system. If no relevant calibration, before making calibration, should register calibration, details refer to add to reagent information.

MQ60 User manual 96 calibrator preparation The calibrator will provide with the reagents. Use the calibrator please refer to the user manual. During preparation the reagents, please follows below precaution description. Wear gloves and mask avoid other reagent or specimen pollution. After taking out reagent cassette and make sure doing the experiments immediately, do not put reagent cassette at room temperature for a long time. Follows precaution description at package instruction. Install reagents strips. Take out reagent from refrigerator, should make experiments at once; avoid exposingreagent in normal air long time. Should install reagent strip on the reagent cassette rack as following order, shouldnote below few points when installing: o When taking reagent cassette, take the edge of reagent cassette, avoidtouching aluminum seal probe slot, touch aluminum seal or probe slot will cause the test results difference. o Attention: avoid other kind of liquid touching probe slot, which will causethe test results difference. o Do not use the reagents fallen in the floor, that will cause the test resultsdifference. o Before testing, Inverting reagent lightly at horizon, eliminate bubble at thewall of reagent cassette or liquid inside the aluminum seal reagent box Graph 131 Insert reagent tray into reagent slot Use pipette add specimen to reagent cassette specimen slot as requirements (100ul).
