ABOUT LINE-X
LINE-X is a professionally applied, high-performance, spray-on protective coating. Since 1993, LINE-X has
been a staple of the automotive aftermarket as a premier spray-on truck bedliner, and has since expanded

any other. Its physical characteristics vary by chemical make-up but each LINE-X coating is engineered to

LINE-X SURFACE PREPARATION
LINE-X has excellent bonding characteristics to properly prepared metal, fiberglass, concrete and wood
surfaces. Thorough surface preparation is key to achieving this success. LINE-X is best used as a barrier
between corrosive elements and valuable equipment. Trained applicators can treat mild corrosion and
apply LINE-X to a surface that has already begun to deteriorate. Or, protect a surface before it is sent into a
corrosive environment.
Contaminants are removed and surface is cleaned carefully.
Surface area is increased by etching or roughening the
surface. An increased area strengthens mechanical bond
to substrate.
A primer is used to strengthen the mechanical bond. Certain
primers will also significantly enhance corrosion protection.
