as the clinician and judge for the 2022 TWH Mexico
Competition. The event took place in Puebla Mexico,
with TWHBEA Executive Director, Mark Farrar in
attendance, where many transfers, registrations and
membership renewals were completed. TWHBEA
Member and Owner/Exhibitor/International commit-
tee member Brad Woodruff flew to Mexico to assist
and translate during this trip. Brad, was instrumental
in not only translation, but educating and promoting
the correct development of the Tennessee Walking
Horse and growth of the Tennessee Walking Horse in
Mexico.
Overall, I was impressed with the improvement of
the gait transformation, the quality of animals and the
excitement and enthusiasm of the members in Mexico.
Some of the owners and their trainers have scheduled
to come to Shelbyville for a two-month time span, to
learn more about the Tennessee Walking Horse, and
develop their skills as riders and breeders of our breed.
With 9 classes offered and 84 entries, the growth
of the Tennessee Walking Horse is apparent and the
partnership of TWHBEA and the Tennessee Walking
Horse Club of Mexico is a continued success. Mark,

Do You Have Your
Walking Horse License Plate?
Tennessee Walking Horse license plates can be seen on thousands of
vehicles across Tennessee. As these vehicles travel across the country, can
you imagine how many people have seen our great breed? Not only are
the license plates promoting our horse on the roadways, but a portion of
every sale goes directly to the promotion of the Tennessee Walking Horse.
If you are registering a vehicle in Tennessee, this is an easy way to sup-
port the promotion of the Tennessee Walking Horse. If you wish to pur-
chase one, just go to your county clerk’s office or wherever you get your
tags renewed.
