Abstract

Music is an essential part of psychological needs among human beings. Listening to
music while studying or completing a homework project is one of the most common
forms of multitasking among students but, there is no clear data about the effect of
listening to music during aerobic training on physiological profile. The purpose of this
study is to investigate the effect of listening to music during aerobic training on
physiological profile. The total articles that were used in this study is 53 articles. In total,
there are 53 articles for 3 items. In items heart rate total N = 276, performance with music
total N = 58, Vo2max total N = 134. The samples are collected from previous journals
and articles, then it will be extracted and analysed for the review. This research sample
will be utilizing the online search PubMed, and Google Scholar in 2019. The studies are
grouped into three groups based on the study's objectives: heart rate, Vo2max, and
performance with music. Only five studies have indicated a significant difference in
performance with music, however four studies have revealed a significant difference in
heart rate and Vo2max. Once a music track has been chosen, there is the possibility of
modifying some physical aspects of the listening setting throughout the delivery stage in
order to moderate the sensed emotional intensity. When music was played, the heart rate
climbed considerably as well. Music may be regarded as a legitimate ergogenic aid for
well-trained athletes during resistance training warm up and throughout resistance
activity for lowering perceived exertion and reducing training time. As a result,
professional strength and conditioning coaches and practitioners engaged in resistance
training may benefit from including enticing music throughout warm-up and workout
sessions.

Abstract
Goal or task orientations reflect the criteria individuals use to subjectively define success
and failure in achievement settings. The objective of this study was to investigate task
and ego orientation and anxiety between gender. A total of 136 softball players with age
ranging from 19 to 32 years old were utilized in this study. Task and Ego Orientation
Questionnaire (TEOSQ) and State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI) were used for this
study. Independent sample t-tests and Pearson moment correlation tests were run to find
out the difference and relationship among the softball players in terms of gender. There
was a significant difference in task orientation between male and female softball players
(p = 0.02) whilst there were no significant differences between male and female softball
players in ego orientation (p = 0.31) and anxiety (p = 0.37). Interestingly, the results
showed that female softball players had high task orientation score compared to male,
while male softball players showed higher score in ego orientation. Additionally, there
was correlation in task and ego orientation with anxiety among male and female softball
players. It is suggested that anxiety linked with task and ego orientation which need
further investigation among variety of athletes and different type of sport.

Abstract
Breakfast is the first meal of the day before starting the daily life activities, and it also
provides many health benefits. Overweight people commonly tend to skip breakfast. One
of the increases in obesity is due to breakfast intake. The study aimed to investigate the
effect of skipping breakfast on body mass index among overweight people. This study
was conducted on 92 residents in Perlis. They have been selected randomly and divided
into overweight skipper breakfast and non-overweight skipper breakfast. The
questionnaire on the importance of breakfast perception was directly adopted from the
previous study. As a result, there was no significant association between skipping
breakfast with body mass index obtained at p=0.309 and r=.007. Besides, the age of the
people that have a lower perception of breakfast was below than 20 years old. This finding
shows that overweight people are more likely to have a lower breakfast perception but no
significant relationship with body mass index. This study is essential to learn about the
contributing factors of skipping breakfast on body mass index. It also can encourage them
to take breakfast regularly and promotes good breakfast habits.

Branch, Arau Campus, 02600 Arau, Perlis, Malaysia

Abstract

Resistance training been shown to be effective in physiological changes. There are two
variables in this research, the volume of resistance training and the intensity of resistance
training, both factors must have an impact on human physiology in order for the study
to be valid. Specifically, the purpose of this research is to investigate the relationship
between resistance training volume and intensity toward human physiology. Systematic
review used to assess the efficacy of resistance training on physiology in this
scientifically rigorous research of resistance training. The intensity and volume of
resistance training evaluated to determine the moderate efficacy of these parameters. A
thorough scan of online data sources (PubMed and Google Scholar), as well as
conference proceedings of potentially relevant articles, was conducted and the results
were evaluated. From 846 records, only 249 studies were record screened, and only a
handful of studies allowed for review after being re-screened and re checked to ensure
that they met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. A total of 16 articles and theses
submitted for consideration in the quality evaluation process because of these
circumstances. According to the findings of the studies, the premise that the volume and
intensity of resistance training have a substantial impact on human physiology is correct.
Finally, the volume and intensity of resistance training may have an impact on human
physiology, including brain-derived neurotropic factor (BDNF), body composition,
muscle, cardiorespiratory fitness, hormones, neuromuscular function, and a variety of
other variables.

Abstract

The pitching is one of the strategic actions that determine the result in a match in baseball
game. The objectives of this study were to determine if a relationship exists between type
of pitching and the following variables: strike succession and area of strike zone. The
other objectives in this study were to determine if a relationship exists between area of
strike zone and the following variable: strike succession. The sample was formed by 6
matches during Final Major League Baseball (MLB) World Series Post Season 2020. In
these games 484 pitching for three types of most used pitching in baseball that have the
attempt to the strike zone were registered. This study used the notational analysis and
frequency table for the capture of data information. The analysis of the data was carried
out through crosstabs and Chi-square (p <0.05), where the statistical SPSS version 25 was
used. There was a significant correlation between type of pitching and strike succession
(p = 0.001), between type pf pitching and area of strike zone (p = 0.001), between area of
strike zone and strike succession (p = 0.001). These findings provide information towards
coaches and players to execute pitching using correct technique and tactic to create strike
during matches.

Abstract

In sepak takraw, killing or spiking is one of the strategic moves that determines the
outcome of a match. The goal of this study was to see if there was a link between the kind
of spiking technique and the variables of point succession, spiking zone, and point area.
The researchers also wanted to see if there was a link between point area and the variables
zone of spiking and point succession in this investigation. 19 matches from the Sepak
Takraw League (STL) Champions Cup 2021 comprised the sample. There were 315
spiking attempts to the other half of the court in these games. This study used the
notational analysis: frequency table for capture of data information. The analysis of the
data was carried out through Crosstabs and Chi-Square (p <0.05), where the statistical
SPSS version 25 was used. There was no significant correlation between the type of
spiking technique and point succession (p =0.831), between type of spiking technique and
zone of spiking (p =0.730), and between area of point and point succession (p =0.253).
Besides, there were a significant correlation between type of spiking technique and area
of point (p =0.001), and between area of point and zone of spiking (p =0.016). These
findings advise coaches and players on how to perform killing with proper spiking
technique to get points. More study is needed to examine the link from a tactical
standpoint, such as serving technique, blocking and rally play.
